Employee ID change

Dear Experts,
There is a scenario where an employee with ID 15 with XX EMp code has resigned and joined with another Empl code YY with and other Empl ID 20, we.f to 1st MAy 2014. When he is login in to his EMp portal to update his deatils the old EMp Code is seen.
What to do..I think in PA30 & IT0001 ,we have to do some changes..

Please delimit in IT0105- SubType 0001 Sy-user name.
Assign Sy-user name to new Emp ID with new date,.

As per the requirement, in ESS, Personal information should be in Display mode but here employee can change his personal information like Bank details [IT0009], Family details [IT0022], Address [IT0006] etc.

WF notification in case Employee Data changes

Hello Experts,
We are looking to get some kind of notification if Infotype 8(Basic Pay) of an employee is changed. I was wondering if anyone has implement this scenario before..
We need to send some information if the basic pay changes like a workflow message to a user's sap inbox.
Please advise.

When ever employee position changed, an alert should send an email

we have one requirement...
when ever any employee position changed, it should send an email ..how to do this one? any idea?
employee positions are recorded in PER_ALL_ASSIGNMENTS_F table, so if we create event alert on this table ( update ). event alert fires if there is any update to the table...but i want, only alert should send mail, when position column got updated in that table...
is it possible????

Finding function to check whether this employee has changed Employee group

I'm finding function to check whether this employee has changed Employee group from Temporary to Regular during the year or not.
Is there any PY function can check as above condition?

Hi,
You have to read IT0001 data for reading Employee Group or Sub Group Change. Use the FM HRREADINF* to read IT0001 Data.

I have to create a report which would display in ALV
A table containing details of all changes to fields specified iby the user within the selected period
Details :: ~
When executing the report, the user will be given the opportunity to select which fields will be displayed in the output of the employee changes table. They will also be given the choice to display the previous value for each field and the date the change becomes effective.

First of all ensure that the fields that you need to audit have been configured.
refer to the documentation of report RPUAUD00.
You will need to create a report that extracts data fromPCL4.
If your audit data has been configure as Lond documents then look at using FM HR_INFOTYPE_LOG_GET_LIST &
HR_INFOTYPE_LOG_GET_DETAIL
If not you will to extract the header info & then the BELEGE info - beware of the differnt operas inuse.

I want to know what table access if employees personal information(middle name was added) has been changed and and waiting to be approved.

Employee Vendor changes

Hi All,
I have an interface which need to compare snapshots of the employee vendor file (FK03) on current versus previous days and send those changes to the third party.

I agree that the CDHDR and CDPOS tables will provide you the required information to get a delta, but it is important to be careful about performance. If you take a look at the CDHDR table you will notice that the primary key and the secondary indexes are setup such that queires against this table will perform well if you know the specific document that you are wanting changes for (i.e. vendor number 123456). If you are looking for all changes to all vendors and for a specific time period then neither the primary key or the secondary indexes will help you out. The result of this will be sequential table scans that progressivly get slower as each day passes.
What I recommend is that you configure change pointers (if you are already getting change documents in the CDHDR and CDPOS table then this is easy to configure). These change pointers can be consumed by a custom program that:
- Reads the change pointers
- Uses the change pointers to access the change documents (CDHDR and CDPOS)
- Perform any required procsessing for the selected data
- Clear the change pointers

Employee Designation change problem

I need to change the designation of the employee based on the employee personal number.
I have given the personal number in PA41 and i try to change the employee group and subgroup in change actions.
But when i change the date to currect date means its showing error.Otherwise when i didnt change the date means its coming properly.the desingnation getting changed.
What is the correct procedure to change the designation of the employee.

Please explain how are you changing the designation in PA41 ( are u changing the position also? ) and what error message you are getting after that. May be after that we can find a solution.

Employee Group Change after terminating an employee

Hi,
My company has SAP HR Configuration setup...
When I execute an action "Terminated" for an employee a group of ITs are triggered (0014, 0015, 0026) and after saving them i still see the employee Active in IT 0001.
Can any one help me out with this issue ?

Actually while urdergoing the action "Termination", IT 0001 is triggered and i changed the EE group to terminated but after saving the record its not reflected in IT0001.
It still shows the EE Group to be Active.
If this is not the field to be looked at, how can you differentiate Terminated and active employees.

I need to know is it possible that employee master data is entered by one person and confirmation by another person. In FI one person changes vendor master data and anonther person confirm it.

This is possible by Double verification Principle in HR security
Symmetrical Double Verification :
In this procedure, two users are always required to be able to create or change an infotype's data. The users have the same authorizations for this.
These authorizations allow each user to create locked data records, change locked data records, and relock unlocked data records. In addition, each user can unlock data as long as he or she is not the last person to have changed the locked data. Neither user can delete data.
New data is created by user A (or user B) and locked by user B (or user A).
To change existing data: user A (or user B) locks and changes the data and user B (or user A) unlocks the data. Another user must be consulted to delete existing data.

In this procedure, two users are always required to be able to create or change an infotype's data. Here, the users do not have the same authorizations, which is why the process is called asymmetrical.
New data is entered by user A and unlocked by user B. Existing data can be changed in two ways: User B locks the data, user A changes the data, and user B unlocks the data again. Alternatively, user A creates a locked copy from the unlocked data and changes this copy. User B then unlocks the data. To delete unlocked data, user B locks the data which is then deleted by user A.
In this process, user A is always responsible for entering and changing data and user B for approving the changes.

Hi Shajish,
There are three scenarios when you may need to change hiring date:
1) After payroll is run - when hiring date is before actual Hiring date.
2) After payroll is run when hiring date is after actual Hiring Date.
3) Before the payroll is run.
1) PA30 -- Copy actions info type - action type - incorrect entry -- save and come out PA 30 copy actions info type -- action type - correct entry - now correct your entries, save your date is changed.
2) PA30 - Utilities - change payroll status - delete accounted to field, save and come out - then again utilities change entry leaving date - correct the hiring date - save and come out.
3) PA30 - Utilities change entry/leaving date change your date and save.
Try this aslo
Go to PA30
Enter personnel number.
Select action infotype.
Select subtype hire mini master record.
Change to new date.
Under reasons, select new position.
Click save.

Position Hierarchy - Employee Supervisor Change

Hello,
We have few of our Operating Units setup with Position Hierarchy Approval method for Purchasing documents. We want to change this to Employee-Supervisor Relationship due to change in some of the global policies.
Would like to know what are the implications & what are the things to be taken care.

You will find that emp. Supervisor hierarchy (ESH) is simpler to setup and understand. But it has less functionality.
e.g. In PBH (position based hierarchy), you can submit PO's using different paths if necessary. But in ESH, the po always will go to the supervisor and his supervisor etc.
To implement your change
1) Go to the define employees screen (in the purchasing module if you use Shared HR or in the HRMS module if you use full HRMS). Enter the supervisor name for all employees that will submit /approve PO.
2) Purchasing > setup > organizations > financial options > Human resources tab > uncheck "Use approval hierarchies" checkbox
3) You can end-date existing hierarchies.
4) You don't have to run Fill employee hierarchy program anymore.
5) When a person leaves or there is a reorg, make sure you update the supervisor name for the employees.
6) You need to continue to maintain approval groups and assignments as before.

We need the possibillity to let one employee have the right to look at and change all shopping carts created within the organisational unity that he belongs to. He should not be able to approve them though.
How can that be done?

hi,
one idea to solve this might be to use the event framework to capture the partner change and then call the CRM_ORGMAN_MAINTAIN_OW FM to change the organizational data. A call of CRM_ORGMAN_DETERM_INITIAL_EC might also do the trick, but I've never done that myself so far.
