Error determining address for employee when replicating

Hi,
We are in SRM 5.0, classic scenario.
We are using HR replication .
I replicate the Org structure and the user from an HR system via ALE.
Apparently all works fine (in PPOMA_BBP I see the Position, the CP, the BP, and the user links US) (similar to a user previously manually created)
However I can not shop with it as I receive messages
-No data found for contact person HR08007850 Contact system administrator
-No addres found for Partner function type Good Recipient
-No addres found for Partner function type Requester
In Users Gen if I make a Check User and Employee data, selecting by BP (Employee role) for the Business Partner BP of the Central Person of the user I receive error messages
Error determining address for employee .........
The BP for all objects(Contact person, employee etc) have all the relevant address data .
Entries can be seen in tables BUT020,BUT050 for the addresses.
Also we had not created the SU01 users before replicating the Org structure but created thenm after the replication .Then for integrating the users into the Org structure,we jsut assigned the users to the CP's in PPOMA_BBP itself(as USERS_GEN is deactivated for HR-ALE replication). After this,we were able to see the CP-US relationship but when we do the consistency check,we get the above mentioned errors i.e.
Error determining address for employee......
Employee relationship between BP.... and BP(org) missing
Has anyone faced a similar situation??Any inputs will be appreciated.

Hi,
Please read my earlier replies properly. The error you are getting is mainly because of the addresses of the ORG UNITS and not employees not being maintained on the R/3 side.
The addresses of the org units are stored in infotype1028 on R/3 side.So you need to maintain this one on the R/3 side before starting the replication.Take the help of someone from the HR team for maintainence of this address data.
Regarding the switches in SRM,there is one in table  T77S0 i.e. HRALX OADRE Address Necessary for Business Partner?.However this is used for generation of BP for the org units which i suppose is happening for you..See the foll note for more deatils .
Note 550055 - EBP/CRM: New integration for business partner
For this paarmeter,the note says;
Addresses: If addresses are required to generate correct business
partners of the organizational unit role (in SRM, for example), the
HRALX/OADRE switch is set to X (formerly: the BUPA/ADDR switch). If
it is mandatory for each business partner of the organizational
unit role to have an address, but the relevant organizational units
do not always have a separate address, you can define a standard
address. Create a separate business partner for storing the
standard address. The number of this business partner, which is
used as a container, is stored in the HRALX/OADBP switch (formerly
BUPA/ADRBP).
However the address error which you are getting is because the employee for the Org unit which gets created doesnt get the address because of the missing address of the org structure. So the BP of the employee (for org unit) is inconsistent.
So i dont think changing the value of this switch would help you resolve the EMPLOYEE ADDRESS error.Again i suggest better to maintain the addresses of the org units in R/3 in infotype 1028 and then replicate the whole org structure again. Then you should not get the address error.

  • Error determining address for Employee

    Hi Experts,
We are running SRM 5.5 (add-on) in a local scenario.
We have an issue with one employee, where they won't show with a relationship to their Org unit.
The employee has a current employee record, has a valid user id, is assigned in the Org structure and has a Business Partner. If you look at the Business Partner via transaction BP there is no relationships, if you try to repair the employee using BBP_BP_OM_INTEGRATE you get the follwoing error "Error determining address for employee DD4D5C1DB62512F19E9700144F45F5BF".
Do you have an suggestions as to what the issue may be or where we are able to veiw the address for the Business Partner?
    Thanking you in Advance.

    hi,
This error is mainly because of the missing addresses for the Organizational units (under which the employee is assigned)on R/3 side.
Check whether the address for the org unit are maintained on the R/3 side i.e infotype 1028.
If not,you need to maintain those on the R/3 side.Even if you try to maintain an address for the org unit on SRM side in PPOMA_BBP,you will not be able to correct this error.

  • Error opening file for writing when installing

I cannot install Flash on my Vista X64. I have tried running
the downloadable install and the online install. Any time I try to
run the install I get "error opening file for writing" when trying
    to write C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash\Flash9d.ocx.
I have uninstalled Fash first (it never worked anyway) and I
have rebooted. I even tried rebooting in Safe Mode but no matter
what I try, I cannot remove the existing Flash9d.ocx and installing
will not overwrite the existing file.
Even after uninstalling Flash and rebooting to safe mode,
Windows reports that flash9d.ocx is in use. So why is the file in
    use after uninstalling?
    Any help is appreciated.
    Dale

Well, I finally figured out the problem with mine today. Of
course, I'd still like to know what nefarious purpose might be
involved with the Flash activeX file being loaded in memory even
after uninstall and reboot such that it cannot be removed from my
    PC even in Safe Mode.
At least I got Flash working. I discovered that Flash was
    disabled in IE.
In IE, go to Tools->Options->Programs and then Manage
Add-Ons. In my case, the ShockWave Flash Object was set to
disabled. I changed it to Enabled and I was able to install and use
Flash properly. Now I am just not sure I want to.
With the questionable practices of using the ActiveX control
even after uninstall, and making the file un-removable, along with
the extremely (in my opinion) dishonest practice of installing
Google Toolbar with Flash, I am hoping that Microsoft's Silverlight
puts Flash out of the market - and I'm no huge fan of Microsoft
either. With the new practices from Adobe, they are, in my opinion,
no better than any other spyware and malware purveyor on the market
    - right up there with Napster and the dozens of follow-on products
that tricked users into installing unwanted software.

  • Territory and partner determination procedure for employee responsible

    Hi CRM team,
I have a little issue for you I'll be very thankfull if someone could help me.
There is the organisation of the territory management in the company I'm working for:
    -Country
    -Region
    -sector
*each sector have a determination rule based on 1 condition "1 field from the BP Header (customer)"
*each sector have a position assigned to it. (Organisational model PPOMA_CRM) And there is 1 or 2 employee affected to each position..
    *When creating an activity,*
*First thing I enter the Account (customer: activity partner)*
*I would like the system to determine the employee affected to the sector of the BP as the employee responsible.*
    Any Idea?
For the moment, I'm searching in the partner determination procedure. But the standard access sequence Business Partner Relationships: Activity Partner -> User dont work.
There is some sitting from my IMG:
The partner fonction Employee Responsible is with
    *fonction category: employee
    *usage: CRM
*Relationship category: Is the employee responsible for
    Partner determination procedure:
In the acces sequence, I put a dialogue seq 15 :
    Business partner from territory
And in the detail on source, I put:
    Fonct. categ. : Employee
    Usage: CRM
    It dosn't work...
I don't know if I'm am searching in the right place.
Could you help me with a solution to have the needed system behavior????
Thanks a lot for your time and your help.
    Best regards,
    Ahmed.

    Hi Ahmed,
After created determination rules for territories have executed the report CRM_TERRMAN_PROC_REL for initial option?
Once territories and determination rules are created, you need to run the above report in Background(schedule a batch job) which will establish relationships between the territories and corresponding attributes. You need to run this report every time there is a change in determination rule of create/change territories.
    This should resolve your problem

  • 404 Error (not found) for webfragment when running from OEPE (split source)

For a large project, we are developing several JSF modules as JARs which then become packaged inside a single WARs WEB-INF/lib, which in turn will be the only substantial part of an EAR.
When I build with maven / run from command line, everything works fine.
But when I run from OEPE using the split source structure (actually also when I run from command-line using the split source structure that OEPE has generated), all the JSF in the JARs are not found anymore, and I get a 404 Error in the browser.
I can reproduce the problem with a minimal set of almost-empty Eclipse projects (one WebFragment, one WAR, and an autogenerated EAR).
(too bad I can't attach it here)
The generated .beabuild.txt is as follows:
    C\:/workspaces/weblogicear/WebFragmentWAR/WebContent = WebFragmentWAR.war
    C\:/workspaces/weblogicear/WebFragmentWAR/build/weboutput = WebFragmentWAR.war
    C\:/workspaces/weblogicear/WebFragmentWAR/build/classes = WebFragmentWAR.war/WEB-INF/classes
    C\:/workspaces/weblogicear/WebFragment/bin = WebFragmentWAR.war/WEB-INF/lib/WebFragment.jar
Under WebFragment/bin/META-INF/resources I have an index.xhtml, which is not found by Weblogic's implementation of ExternalContext.
See also this thread (without answer): When web apps/war published via OEPE I get '404 Not found' on access I don't know if the original poster had the same problem. I tried to reply there, but my reply doesn't show up.

In the testing server folder you have a CAP Z
in the URL prefix you don't have a cap.
Also, would need to know more about your testing server

  • Determine costs for packing when using handling units

    Hi Experts,
How can I track the costs for packing process and packing material when I am using Handling Units to represent the packing ?
    Is there any idea?
The only way I see for tracking the costs is to create a packing operation when creating the FP (and do not use HU).
    Thanks,
    Artashes

Thanks for the answer Mario, but let me ask more precise question.
I have a finished product AAA which is not packed. Now I have a requirement to pack it.
So before hearing about HU, I would add a new operation step to AAA recipe, new resource and a packing material to AAA's BOM.
For this option I don't have questions.
But now I want to use HU. so I create packaging instructions, and do the transactions
    - COWBPACK - Work Order - Finished Product  - to pack materials in process order
    - COWBHUWE - Goods Receipt for Work Order  - to do a GR for process order.
And where can I consider the labour and packing material expenses here? I even don't have a resource which is doing a packing. so I can't do scheduling...maybe I don't understand the usage of HU?
    Thanks and Regards,

  • Pay commission for employee

    Hi, all
How can we pay commission for employee when i report result of commision for employee by query.

    Hello Tien,
At present Business one does not have the this functionality to maintain accrue commission. For example, a sales employee gets commissions from items he/she sells and when an item is sold, currently there isn't any way to tell Business One to accrue that amount in either an account specifically created to accrue commissions, or add it into the Cost of Sales for that.
Since commission is not recorded as a JE, so in order to maintain that commission you have to create a manual journal entry.
In order to calculate the commission for the sales employee please refer the note 649528.
    hope it helps you.

    Hi,

When i am executing the same program with date range as a) "01/05/2009" to "30/06/2011" and b)"01/05/2008" to "30/06/2011" the program is failing with error as "Error determining planning periods for calendar". Can anyone suggest me what i should do to avoid the failure of the program with above date ranges also.
    Thanks in advance,

    Dear,
Error message 61123:"Error determining planning periods for calendar &".The PPC planning calendar specified in the material master MRP 2 view for the material is  incorrectly.
The planning calendar periods are insufficiently maintained for the planning calendar used.
Check the period of planning calendar in MD26 and generate the correct period. You can avoid the problem in several ways:
Maintain the planning calendar far enough in the future (at least until beyond  the end of the planning horizon).
Also check any demand is lies beyond the validity period of planning calendar.
Reduction of the planning horizon of MRP also can control such issue, as MRP planning horizon lies in an area in which the planning calendar is no longer maintained

  • Address for HR employee -No address data?

    Hi,
We've downloaded Employees (Created in VPE2 in ECC) from ECC to CRM using ALE.
Everything seems to be working including Employee responsible relationship etc except the address in the sales transaction,
For these employees, address is maintained and replicated to CRM as well, I can see the standard address when i open them in Transaction BP.
But when I create a sales transaction TA for example, in the partner tab beside "employee responsible", the BP number shows up but in the address it says "No address data",
Am I missing anything? Address exists in the BP record but not copied to Sales transaction?
    We are on CRM 6.0.
    Any hint much appreciated.

    Hi All,
Happy new year first of all,
I encounter a problem when using search sales order in WebUI. I am using SAP CRM 2007 SP4.
I notice that the search result by using Employee Responsible ID as criteria, is returning Person Responsible
    instead !
I entered both partner function in sales order document (Employee Responsible => BP 1234 and
    Person Responsible => BP 4567).
Although in Search criteria selection I choose Employee Responsible ID, but when I put
the BP 1234, the search result is blank. And when I change the value to BP 4567, I can see the result
shows that document. But BP 4567 is Person Responsible, how come it gives the result for Employee
    Responsible??
This is totally wrong! I couldn't find SAP NOTE or same issue mentioned here in SDN.

    Hi Robert,
Which config are you refer to in SPRO ?
    Partner Function Determination ?
By attention to the Relat. Category change, we can not simply change it (although it can fix this

In many cases this is predefined in the system, based on the partner function category chosen. You can assign the corresponding relationship type freely if:
    - you select the partner function category undefined partneror
    - you have yourself defined the relationship category to
So did you try it? fixed the problem? or have you encounter further problem?
