Error in the Activation of ODS

Hi all,
I have problems activating one of my ODS, when I check the logs, I found the following errors:
Request REQU_3YSFDYNAS6C41WUPRJW74XGVD, data package 000144 not correct
No confirmation for request ODSR_3YSY3Q7MJONMWLYFQFCCABDM1 when activating the ODS object E_PCA3
Communication error (RFC call) occurred
Anyone had an idea what is wrong, and what I could do to activate this ODS. I have tried couple of times reloading and activating the ODS, but each, they have the same error when activating.

Here are the long text for the error.
Diagnosis
Request REQU_3YSW2M9BY9434CRX1XLOTELYH , data package 000092 contains errors with status 9 in table 'RSODSACTREQ' but this data package is missing in the return structure.
System response
The data package is entered in the return structure as incorrect.

first run "ipconfig /flushdns" and then "ipconfig /registerdns" finally restart dns service and check the situation,also you can check dns logs computer management ->Event viewer->Custom Views->Server roles->DNS.

Error on the activation server

Keeps having the following error reported when trying to authorize my PC with Adobe Digital Editions: Error on the activation server". My Adobe ID and password are correct. Anyone know what to do? this has been going on for days.

Digital Editions 2.0 doesn't work properly with some eReaders.
With my Sony, not only did the copy protection prevent copy to the Sony,
but while the Sony was plugged in it prevented me reading the books using ADE on the PC.
Once the Sony was unplugged, the books could again be read on the PC.
It may be worth trying with v1.7.2 instead; certainly is if you find symptoms as I just described.
Version 1.7.2 is a little difficult to find, available on Adobe site for Windows and for Mac.

Error In the activation process of DSO

Hi,
I am working with BI7, when i was activating data in DSO i got an error.The data has been loaded upto PSA and new table of DSO successfully but it is not loaded to active table at that time it is giving an error.

Hi,
There are a couple of places where you can see the activation progress.
1) To start with SM37 job log > (give BI_PROCESS_ODSACTIVAT or BI_ODSA*)
and it should give you the details about the activation job. If its active make sure that the job log is getting updated at frequent intervals. If its completed check the log for ODS activation.
2) For very huge number of records SM37 job log may not get update frequently. In that case you have a workaround.
Go to contents > Active Data table > No. of entries > This will keep on increasing at frequent intervals.
3) SM66 > Get the job details (server name PID etc from SM37) and see in SM66 if the job is running or not. See if its accessing/updating some tables or is not doing anything at all.
4) Go to Activate button in Target > Request tab. Inside you can see a job log button. It will also show some log regarding the last activation.
5) If the Reporting icon has appeared near the request id in ODS. If it appears that may indicate that request is available for reporting
6) Check the request status in these tables.
Table RSICCONT table contains the requests that are actually loaded in a target.
Table RSMONICDP contains the request id of the fact table.
Table RSODSACTREQ contains information if an ODS is available for reporting/deleting inactive requests also possible.
Table RSODSACTUPDTYPE.

Error 9 during activation of ODS

I am getting following error when extraction into ODS.

Activation of data records from ODS object ZOVDITM terminated
No confirmation for request ODSR_428KFN9XVIUPFYVNN319NAVF0 when activating the ODS object ZOVDITM
Request REQU_42EHNIWPEMDBCZS5QAFXK53F0 , data package 000001 incorrect with status 9
Inserted records 1- ; Changed records 1- ; Deleted
records 1- 
I saw one posting regarding this issue from Rohini. That is also very similar to my problem. I also checked in that table and found one record in status '9'.So i am not able to understand how to proceed. Should i change that status to 1..As i am in production server i need to be careful before deleting or changing somethings.

Hi Rakesh,
If the RFC error occured while the extraction...simply turne d the request status to Red in RSMO and delete the bad request in the ODS .Resubmitted the infopackage again.
If the RFC error occured while the Activation....repeat activation process once again.It will through

Error in Data activation for ODS data load

We were succesfully loading data (delta load) so far for a CRM ODS. Suddenly, yesterday we are getting am error while trying to activate the data. - "No data packet numbers could be determined for request REQU_48C2T4S91I6GSJ4FNUE727M1Y- Message no. RSAODS119".
We could not even see the data in PSA.
Any clues why this would have happened? tRFC issue?

Hi,
What happens is data packets gets distributed across different Instances/Application Servers.
To distribute users equally on SAP Instances check SMLG Transaction and to distribute RFCs equally on SAP Instances check transaction RZ12
To assign specific BW Instance enter the instance in target system settings. In different source systems different fixed target instances can be assigned.
Check Transaction RSCUSTA2 for load balancing for activation of ODS Object data.

SAP Best Practices - Error during the activation of Baseline Package

I don´t know if this is the right forum to post this message, but I posting here as i didn´t get the info from the related forum, apologies for that.
During the process of activation the Baseline Package 603V8 on ECC6.0 EHP3 (I´m importing all scenarios) from solution builder (txcode /n/smb/bbi)... it stopped and it shows me the following error:
Start activation BC Set: /SMBA0/V_T001P_B0BN_J01
Not activated - error
End of activation BC Set: /SMBA0/V_T001P_B0BN_J01
Can someone help me solve this problem?

Hello again,
I already solved this specific issue that I reported in my previous message, I did the manual activation (txcode SCPR20) of that BC Set: /SMBA0/V_T001P_B0BN_J01 guided by the document "SAP Best Practices Tools". After this activation I pressed the Change button that is displayed in the Old Status column and I changed the status to successful, after I chose the Activate to continue with the installation. But, once again, other error stopped the installation, now with other BC Set:
/SMBA0/V_T001L_B175_J0A
I tried to solve with the same method through the manual activation, but now it was not possible, when I do that in SCPR20 the activation logs show me four warnings (see the image "BC Sets: Activation logs")... and I don´t want to continue with activation/installation of the full scope without solve this issue or can I continue?!

Error in the activation of the storage bins

Im getting an error 'quant xxx for storage bin cannot be counted'.The putaway stock is there in the related bin and batch.(After confirming the transfer order using lt01,the putaway stock is transfered to the total quantity.)The Transfer order is confirmed.then also the error is coouring.What may be the reason?What should be done to eliminate the error?

the transfer order is usually confirmed with LT12.
You cannot do a physical count if there is a pick or putaway quantity in the quant.

How to catch error in the Active Sync process

Hi, we are using Flat File active sync to update IDM user attribute. Once IDM found matched record, it builts view. However, during this period, the the matched user is locked, for example. Then IDM stop processing this record then go to next record. How can I catch this error? In log file I saw error message but how can use workflow or other way to know the error? How can get ResultItem that contains error message during AS?

1. Define two global variables as follows

The following standard characters are valid in characteristic values as default:

Characteristic values are not allowed if they only consist of the character "#" or begin with "!". If the characteristic is compounded, this also applies to each partial key.
You are trying to load the invalid characteristic value 1. (hexidecimal representation 30003100300033003800340020006A0061007600610062006C).
I am trying to load Value '010384 javablue' to "0PO_NUMBER" info object for ODS with in one row with some other data.
Any idea or any input to resolve this issue?

Thanks Soumya, I have maintained the upper case letters, but I am loading upper and lower case mixed to PO number? and it is not working. What is the solution to this? If I set lower case property to the PO number infoobject, it won't accept upper case. If I uncheck the lower case then it won't accept lower case letters. I cannot add upper and lower case letters in RSKC, because it accepts up to 72 characters, I have already have more than 60 characters (special char, numbers and 26 upper case letters).
I have already tried transfer routine but you can either convert to lower or upper but it doesn't work. we need both uper and lower case for po number, and R/3 is accepting it. why BW doesn't accept both?
Any idea what can be done?

Error while activation of ODS Object.

I have loaded the data from R/3 to a ODS Object and the activation of ODS failed due to the following errors as shown below..
-Value '20060 ' of characteristic 0CALQUARTER is not plausible
-Error when assigning SID (details in long text)
-Activation of data records from ODS object ZODS_02 terminated
-Error getting SID for ODS object ZODS_02
I could see that Calendar Quarter as 20060 in table /BIC/AZINV_O0240. There is a calendarday mapped to quarter and year in update rules of ODS object. How the calendar quarter is populated in update table in BW. How should i get rid of this error. Any idea would be appreciated.

you are getting this calender qurter from SAP right... check in RSA3 fro the your Datasource. if you are getting same value like '20060'. you can do one thing... you can set 'No Update' in Transfer Rules. you can write a routine in Update Rules for populating the data for calender Week.
you can call some standard function modules or you can write a small routine. If you want to write a routine check this thread...Re: Date to Quarter
Possibilites:
1. updtae rules
2. if RSA3(PSA) shows the value of the Quarter as '20050', if it is custom extractor(Generic using FM) you can change this.
3. If it is Standard Extractor or Generic Extractor (using either view/table or Infoset) you can enhance this. you can do the same thing in SAP Side.

This message usually indicates that your phone has been hacked/modified or jailbroken.
Was your phone ever locked to a different phone carrier? IF it was how did you unlock it?

Error message when activation a packaging specification in ICH 5.0

I created a packaging spec within ICH 5.0. The check function does not return a error. But when trying to activate the PS I am getting the error message:
Package specification not activated; no condition records found.
What kind of condition records does the system mean?

Hi Martin,
You can have a look in the pack spec group and make sure that the flag 'PS_ACTIVATE' it is not set.
That way you will no longer face this error during the activation process.

DNS The Zone cannot be deleted - the active directory service is not available

As you can see from the Summery, I got this message when I'm trying to delete DNS Zone.
It's not matter if the DNS Zone newly created or its an Old One.
After this message the computer is telling you "The Computer is about to make Restart".
It's so strange and i really don't know what to check first.

The Operation System is Windows Server 2012R2 for all the entire DC's

DCdiag /fix and no errors in there everything marked as PASSED.
I did Demotion for one of the DC to troubleshoot, but with no luck i'm back to the same point i started
I tried to delete the brand new Zone from the commandline using DNScmd it's still not working and the computer is reboot himslef.
I've checked the permissions from the ADSIEdit.msc:
Inherit from MicrosoftDNS section to the ROOT
DNSAdmins > Full Control
Domain Admins > Full Control
