Error when trying to configure OIM

Hello,
I'm having problems configuring my OIM server. I've got my database running, I've ran the RCU, installed SOA and OIM, I've created a WebLogic domain, but when I try to configure OIM with the script in <IAM_Home>/bin/config.sh, I get an error. It fails right at the beginning, without giving any explanations. I am only referred to a log file that contains a bunch of traces and this error :

Is there any way I can have a better idea about what's going wrong?

Hi all, we're having the issue described in this thread. We have been installing this products:
WLS: 10.3.6
Oracle Identity Management: 11.1.1.6.0
Oracle Identity and Access Management: 11.1.1.5.0
Oracle SOA Suite: 11.1.1.6.0
We followed this installation/configuration steps:
1. Install WLS
2. Database Schemas Creation by RCU 11.1.1.6.0
3. Install Oracle Identity Management
4. Install Oracle Identity and Access Management
5. Install SOA Suite
6. Configuration and Domain creation by bin/config.sh utility of Oracle Identity Management
7. Extending domain adding Oracle Identity Manager and SOA Components
8. Configuration of OIMServer by bin/config.sh utility of Oracle Identity and Access Management
In our process, step 8 fails without details of the error even reading the log.
Could you please tell us if this installation process contains some error? Are the listed components versions right?

When I try to install and configure the Oracle JDriver v.2.0 to work with Commerce
Server 3.5 SP1 and WebLogic Server 6.0 SP2, on starting up the commerce server,
I get the exceptions that follow this message. I cannot run the dbping utility
because it says it cannot find the BEA license file to verify that JDriver is
licensed for use. I looked over previous discussion threads on this particular
Oracle error, and the problem in the previous cases appears to have been use of
the wrong TNS name. I am referencing the same TNS name that is in my server's
tnsnames.ora file. I can connect to the database using SQLNet and the same connection
parameters that I have set up in weblogic. My Oracle home directory is set to
the directory just above the client install. I am trying to configure Commerce
Server on a Sun SPARC system running Solaris 8. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Error when trying to configure Manage Data Refresh

" Cannot make a cache safe URL for filename "1037/styles/powerpivot.css", file not found. Please check the file in the layout library".

We can get PowerPivot Configuration tool if we install SQL Server PowerPivot for SharePoint successfully. Have you following the steps to configure the PowerPivot for SharePoint environment in the article below?

I get an "SSL" error when trying to configure my mail settings with Gmail.

I have been trying to configure Gmail on my IPod and I keep getting a message that it cannot connect with SSL. I did not have this problem on my old IPod, which I replaced recently. I restored the settings on my new IPod from a backup on my computer and everything else has been working fine except the mail. Has anyone else had a a problem with Gmail? Any way I can get around it?

- First try resetting the iPod:
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Next, go to the GMail settings and turn off SSL. Try and then if necessary, turn it back on.

Error when trying to configure Lync to be a partner application for Exchange Server 2013

When I attempt to run the Configure-EnterprisePartnerApplication.ps1 script I get the following error:
The address 'LyncEnterprise-ApplicationAccount@*.domain.com' is invalid:
"LyncEnterprise-ApplicationAccount@*.domain.com" isn't a valid SMTP address. The domain name can't contain spaces and it has to have a prefix and a suffix, such as example.com.
The error continues with some more things, but what I can't understand is why it is adding a *. after the @ when it is trying to create the account.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Please note the variable “$acceptedDomain”,
this is a very important point.
(Note: The acceptdomain is used in Exchange, and can be created in Exchange EAC )
Now what you need to do is to run the following command in Exchange Powershell and see the result.
$acceptedDomains
= Get-AcceptedDomain
$acceptedDomains[0].Name
If you see the result “*.Domain.com”, then you should check your Exchange Configuration.

Error when trying to configure sync between Outlook 2003 and Blackberry Desktop Software 4.6

I am unable to configure the Blackberry Desktop Software (version 4.6) to sync with my Outlook 2003. I used to have an older version of the desktop software and it worked just fine. I got a new phone and updated the software and am unable to configure the sync. I get the following message when I try to configure it: "Runtime Error: folder is no longer part of the system data source or the folder could not be found."
Please help. I need these to sync.

I suggest trying a clean DTM uninstall:
KB02206 How to perform a clean uninstall of BlackBerry Desktop Software
followed by reinstalling from scratch. You should be able to go to the latest v5.0 with Outlook 2003...it's available here:

Error when trying to configure Oracle 10g Personal Edition

seemingly task is never ending. request oracle to make better products.
Here is the error message I get when attempting an install on a Windows XP Professional laptop.

I just got a new Windows 8.1 computer. I could print fine for a few days with my HP CP1215 in color. Then I changed it default to grayscale, and when I went to change it back, it told me the driver is not installed. I reinstalled the driver, and went to Properties, and it says RUNDLL32 ERROR.
Then it says the driver isn't installed.
And then I start all over again.
Please help.

I understand you are getting a error when trying to open the printer properties on Win 8.1 after reinstalling the printer driver. I will be happy to help you.
If you are using the Windows built in driver then I would download and run the HP Color Laserjet Plug and Play Package. HP Color LaserJet CP1215 Printer Drivers.
If that doesn't work you could do a system restore back to when everything was working properly.
How to refresh, reset, or restore your PC.

I'm getting a javascript error, when trying to export. (i.e. "Deployment Management" -> "Export").
When I click on this link, a popup window is appearing. But, on that window, a javascript error occures. Nothing display on that window. (empty).

We are using OAM also. So, It might cause these errors. We will try to Install it from the beginning....

But, I have another issue.
1) We put our new changes by running patch_jboss.cmd file. After doing this, if we run xlStartServer.bat on <OIM_HOME>\bin directory, we can see all the changes.
But, if we start jBoss using <JBoss>\bin\run.bat file, we can not see any changes. I try to clear cache using PurgeCache.bat file. But, it is still not working....
2) When we start Jboss using xlStartServer.bat file, loggs are not written into <JBOSS>\server\default\log\server.log file. I try to configure using best practice guide. But, it is still not working...If I start JBoss using run.bat file on jboss, it writes loggs to server.log file..
3) Earlier, when we are doing development, we did not use OAM server to connecto to web site. So, for some customizations, I get the current user's userLogin from
<bean:define id="userLogin" name = "userMemberOfForm" property="userID" type="java.lang.String"/>..This works fine..
But, since we are going to use OAM or Windows authentication to connect to OIM web in live, it returns null or empty for "userLogin"....(if we use the above code)...How can I get the userLogin of the current login user....???

CUOM error when trying to poll performance data from IPCC Express

Hi Network Professionals,
Using CUOM 2.1 SP1 I get an error when trying to access the Performance menu for a IPCC Express Server in the Service Level View.
Error Message:
Performance polling is not supported for the current capability.
The server is fully monitored and I get enviroment, system, interface and application information.
I the Polling Parameters menu (Voice Utilization Settings) the only parameter listed is "Communication Manager and Registred MGCP Gateway Utilization".
The IPCC Express version is 5.0.(2)SR01_Build045.
Is anything missing on the IPCC server? I have only configured it with SNMP.

well I bother you because I have a problem similar to that raised earlier, I have a vm INTAL CUOM 2.1 SP1 and the problem is that computers add-in-law his administration IPCC view the service level ... but when I fall into a custom group created the group and add the teams the same ip ipcc already visible, in my group I want to generate displays custom cloud but do not show me the equipment, except that I want to add IVR servers and I do not under any circumstances the samples .. lso probe and reset everything and anything related services, install the SP! and nothing. Can you help me with this or if I recommend CUOM up version of the 2.3 that I could not even see the difference with 2.1 CUOM thanks greetings

HTTP error when trying to access RESTful web service from application

Hi,
We are getting the following error when trying to access a RESTful web service coming from Apex workspace 4.2.1 and Apex listener 2.1:
ORA-29273: HTTP request failed ORA-06512: at "SYS.UTL_HTTP", line 1130 ORA-29024: Certificate validation failure
In the Debug report, besides the above I also see:
error_backtrace: ORA-06512: at "SYS.UTL_HTTP", line 1130 ORA-06512: at "APEX_040200.WWV_FLOW_WEB_SERVICES", line 543 ORA-06512: at "APEX_040200.WWV_FLOW_WEB_SERVICES", line 1164 ORA-06512: at "APEX_040200.WWV_FLOW_PROCESS", line 396
We get that error whether we use https or http in the URI pointing to the web service. When I test the Web Service in Workspace RESTful service GUI, I get the data back. When I go build an application with a report calling the RESTful Web Service I get that error. Both the Application and the Workspace RESTful services are on the same Apex environment and even the same workspace.
What is odd is that I can actually put the URL of the web service into a browser and I get the data: (using the demo hr data in sample RESTful services.)

In reviewing the above error, I think we are realizing that we have to have the Weblogic layer SSL cert (actually the CERT from our BigIP load balancer which also does our SSL termination) imported into the Oracle server wallet where Apex is installed. Am I correct?

We resolved our problem. The Apex Administrative Guide made us realize that we had to set up Wallet path in the Instance. This required working with DBAs to follow the Advanced networking guide to get the wallet set up on our server. We then added that path to the Instance configuration. (Manager Instance --> Instance settings). We ran into another other issue related to our implementation of CAS but were able to resolve that, and 'voila' were able to get the sample RESTful service consumed by our application!!
Now to the task of figuring out how to get Basic Auth working between client application and RESTful web service. If anyone has that working, let us know!!
It would be helpful if in the documentation of the Apex 2.x listener or Apex install/configuration there was clear reference to the above steps required for HTTPS access to RESTful web services.

I'm facing this error when trying to access a form through https, i'm using OAS10g 10.1.2.3 over linux, it has webutil configured and is working perfectly with https
I'm accessing the form through webcache.

I got it, i only had to check the option 'Use SSL 2.0 compatible ClientHello format' from the java's control panel advanced tab.
