ERS - Will MRER Generate credit memo..?

Hi Experts,
We have GR (101) for a Purchase order and IR is generated thro MRER Batch job and  the payment is effected to the vendor .
After we found that we made wrong GR, hence we reversed GR(102).
Can MRER Batch job generate credit memos for 102 mvmt type..?

Dear Friends
I am just clearly adding question with exact requirement.
material per pc 450/- and scheme is 5+1
order qty 5   Price is 450*5=2250
dlv qty 6
now client generate credit memo request for one pc in sap it is coming Rs450/- pc
but client requrement is not this
2250/6=Rs. 375/- that mean they will give rs 375/- per pc not Rs 450/- per pc. for that what should i do customisation for credit memo request pricing.

  • Goods Return and Credit Memo

    Hi Experts,
I've stuck with one problem on implementation project. The scenario is as below.
    Cut-off data is 30th Apr 2009
Go live date declared is 30th April 2009, but the client has one specific requirement regarding the Return goods from customer.
The industry is a publication industry. Their customers are all around the world.
When they sale some material the goods may return after 3 years from the sale date and they give the cash back according to the invoice amount at the invoice date.
    1) We shall upload all the balances as on 30th April 2009.
    2) If any customer returns the goods which we had sold in year 2006.
    3) How to book return order, delivery and Credit Memo.
    4) What will be the effect on Inventory stock and price and according to Balance sheet.
    5) We don't have back dated data (in Year 2006) in SAP system.
    6) Client don't want to refer legacy system for the exchange rate and rate at the invoice time.
Please guide me how to map this scenario.

    Hi,
    1.  If you are using ERS, then running MRRL transaction will automatically generate credit memo for your return delivery with movement type 122.
    2.  MIR5 is the one you should look into.
    3.  Take a look into ME80FN report.  Yet, this report does not indicate specifically for movement type 122.  If it is required that this movement type shall be chosen as part of selection parameters, then you should develop your own report.
    4.  There is not any particular difference if you are using movement type 161.  The only difference is that in case of using 161, you will have to raise a new return PO and make necessary GR and IR posting.  However, the disadvantage is that you will lose the track of your original PO (and PO history).

  • Goods Return and MIRO Credit Memo

    Hello Friends,
Please give your suggestions for the queries below :
    1. Is there any way we can create Credit Memo (MIRO) with reference to MIGO 122 Movement document (Rejected material returned)
    2. Is there a report that shows the list of MIRO Credit Memos. (My document type is the same for both Invoice and Credit Memo)
    3. Is there a standard report of MIGO 122 Movement document linking with MIRO Credit Memo and possibly PO.
    4. If 161 movement solves my problem,  what is the document that I can print out and send alongwith the rejected material to Vendor.
The question from my customer that how do confirm whether credit memo have been entered for all that is moved out of their premises as rejected material.

  • Credit Memo Generating even Billing Block

    Dear Friends
We have created one Credit Memo Request as Like "CR".  Sales document Type. and Credit Memo As Like "G2".
after that we created all copy control as like standard.
we are facing problem that when we create Credit Memo with reference to Credit Memo Request it  generating even there is Billing Block still not released.
but when we are using standard CR and G2. We have to release Billing Block then only we are able to generate Credit Memo.
Please give solutions where is our mistake.
    Regards
    Arun

    hi,
this is the standard business process
the credit memo should not created until the higher authority approve the credit request, because the money goes out of the company, so some higher authority has to approve.
the settings is maintained in VOV8 (CR)-billing - billing block- 08 (check credit memo)

  • Credit memo in Sales

    Hi,
I have a scneario wherin I have overcharged a customer . In that case as per my knowledge, we will create
1.Credit memo request against the Invoice
    2.Create a credit memo consequently.
Please confirm that there is no other SALES RELATED document to be created once we create a credit memo (Basically the sales order and delivery will remain untouched). In that case how should I settle the credit memo so that I can get an accounting document.
The other way I can think of is by using a document type RK.I am not sure how should we go about it.Can anybody please throw some light on it?

    Hi,
Regd Doc Type RK-Invoice correction request.
Invoice correction request - A sales document used in complaints processing to correct the quantity or price of one or more items in an invoice.
You can create an invoice correction request if the wrong prices have been calculated for the customer. The invoice correction request can be automatically blocked by the system until it has been checked.
The system calculates the difference between the amount that was originally calculated and the corrected amount for each item.
Once it has been approved, you can remove the block. The system creates a credit memo with reference to the invoice correction request. If the remaining amount is positive, the total value does not have a + sign, if the remaining amount is negative, the total value has a – sign.
Free of charge delivery - You can create free of charge deliveries for sending samples of your products to the customer. The system will then generate a delivery based on the free-of-charge delivery.
Both these things are used to handle customer complaints
    Example :
You raise a Sales Order (OR) with a net price of Rs/- 1000 and
carryout the Outbound Delivery with Picking and PGI and
raise a Invoice and change the Price in Invoice as Rs/-990 and save the Invoice.(Note down the Document number)
Now goto VA01 and raise a Sales Order with Document type (RK) and give the Billing Document number as refernce then Click on Copy and now Goto Item Condition Screen and change the Price to Rs/-1000 and remove the billing block and save it.
Now goto VF01 and raise the Invoice and you can see the Difference amount Rs/-10 in the Netprice.
    Cheerzz..
    Subbzz..

  • Material Cost is not coming in Credit Memo

    Dear SAP gurus,
My Client is from Brazil & they created a cycle of Sales Order (Export Order) to Billing (with Nota Fiscal)
& with Reference to Invoice, they created the Return Order, Return Delivery (PGR) & finally generated Credit Memo.
The Problem is Material Cost (VPRS) is getting captured in Billing, but in case of Credit memo,
Material cost is not getting posted in G/L accounts.
    What we analyzed till now:
    * Pricing Procedure & found that there is no requirement/routine maintained for Cond Type VPRS.
    * Copy Control related Settings (from Delivery to Billing).
    * Item Category Related settings.
but we could not find anything specific.
For more clarity, I am providing the below details of Accouting Entries:
    G/L account details after Billing:
      1 99999S2L10 Industrias John Deer USD     122.102,07

    6 50 3400200000 CPV-Prod-Int-OUsC    USD           0,02-
Please pay attention to 5th & 6th Lines.
Can anyone suggest where things have gone wrong. Do let me know if you need any other information.
    Thank you in anticipation,
    MAYANK

    Hello Mayank,
If your VPRS is being captured in your billing document, but IS NOT being posted to a G/L account, then your problem is on account determination.
    I suggest the following:
Step 1. Go to your billing document overview.
Step 2. Go to Environment>Account Determination Analysis>Revenue Accounts.
Step 3. Go to the VPRS condition of your material and based on the access sequence, check the problem.  For example: "No G/L found in Account Determination Type KOFI" (if your account determination condition type is KOFI in your case)
Step 4. In Step 3, you will see the values for each field based on the fields in your access.  Then go to VKOA and compare if you have a valid entry there corresponding to the revenue account determination analysis.  Otherwise, if there is no matching entry then I suspect this is why your G/L is not being determined for your VPRS.
Step 5.  If the VKOA entry is missing and it is REALLY NEEDED, then add the VKOA entry tied to the G/L account.  Otherwise, review your master data and your VKOA.
Let me know if this solves your problem.
    Hope this helps,
    Eva

  • Automatic generation for credit memo

    Hi Experts ,
I have 2-main scenarios for vendor returns process :
    1- Regular Scenario:
a-Replacement the rejected goods after sending these goods back to the vendor(in this case the fresh goods will be received against the same P.O)
b- creation of credit memo , that means the vendor won't be able to replace the rejected goods (in this case , my client wants to generate credit memo in the system automatically or some alert to be triggered to the responsible person to create the credit memo in the system ?????)
    2-Scrap Scenario:
a- vendor will tell my client to scrap the rejected goods  and he will send fresh goods instead of these rejected (i this case my client will receive the fresh goods by movment type "501" to avoid affecting the moving average price of material, so how the warhouse person will come to know that fresh goods will be against these goods which has been scrapped?????)
b-vendor will tell my client to scrap the rejected goods  and he will ask my client to place debit note for him (in this case , my client wants to generate credit memo automatically or some alert to be triggered to the responsible person to create credit memo in the system????)
    Regards

check this link. it has given how to set output type for pdf/smart form, I think same output type need to be used but for Idoc type GSVERF
    http://help.sap.com/bp_bblibrary/500/Documentation/G93_BB_ConfigGuide_EN_US.doc
In this step you define a Output Determination Procedere for the Billing Documents (Credit Memos) creating on Sales return Process.

  • Automatic Credit Memo

    Hi Experts,
we have a problem, standard process of vendor rejection is return delivery (122 or 161) then credit memo. But our company wants to post credit memo first (automatically) as soon as QA person reject the mateiral thru Usage decision, finance entry vendor dr, gr/ir account cr, and when we post 122/161 system will create inventory account cr and gr/ir account dr.
    How can I achive this.
    Please suggest.
    Ishu

    Hi Ishu,
This is not standard SAP. Standard SAP is that invoices and credit memos come from the vendor (unless you have a self-billing agreement with the vendor, in which case the invoices/credit memos are based on the GR's and returns).
If you want this kind of automation, you need to program. I don't know if you want the usage decision or the quality notification to trigger the credit memo, but both can be configured to have follow-on functions that e.g. call BAPI_INCOMINGINVOICE_CREATE or create the IDoc INVOIC and call the ALE service to process it.
If I remember right, there's an enhanced returns processing in BS7 where you can generate credit memo before the retun movement, but I don't think it is triggered by a QM transaction. I think it is some kind of new transaction for handling of returns in BS7.

  • The Credit Memo & Original Invoice do not have the same net due date.

The issue is that for returns of goods from the customer, the credit memo that gets created does not have the same net due date as the original invoice.  To accomplish this, in the credit memo, the indicator "V" must be entered in the credit memo field BSEG-REBZG "Invoice Ref".  This will make the credit memo due based on the payment terms. In the OSS message 50388, SAP identifies a user exit in SDVFX008 which will fill field BSEG-REBZG with the value "V".  Doing this should automatically make the credit memo for returns due the same date as the original invoice.SAP says to do the following:
The function module called by SDVFX008 is EXIT_SAPLV60B_008
Make the ABAP coding in include program ZXVVFU08.
    Populate field ACCIT-REBZG with "V"
Despite doing this , we couldnt get the same net due date as the credit memo & Original invoice.
Can anyone help? POINTS WILL BE GIVEN.
    Thanks
    Anita

    Hi Anitha,
Does the value 'V' gets paopulated?.
I mean to ask whether the program goes into the user exit logic?.
    Please let me know.
    Thank you.

  • Change condition value in debit memo and credit memo

    Hi Experts,
When I am trying to create Credit Memo/Debit memo I could able to change the condition value for which condition type the value is there in Sales Order, but where as for other condition types it is not changeable.
For example for Freight the Condition type is ZFRE,  value is 100 rs in sales order 90000001.
If I create credit memo with reference to sales order I can able to change freight value from rs100 to rs 75.
But what to do If I do not maintain freight value initially in sales order and if I want to adjust freight value ZFRE as rs 60 in credit memo. Presently I could not able to enter values in C/D Memo.
Hope my question is clear to you all.
    Thanks & Regards
    Naresh

    Hi Naresh
If I understand correctly,  then you want to include the freight amount automatically in the Credit memo which was not featuring in the Credit memo request.
If it is so, then first see which is Pricing procedure working  for your Credit memo Request.
In the Pricing Procedure, check the freight condition type (e,g. KF00).
See the what is Acees sequence assigned to it and in the Access sequence what are table assigned.
In  condition type KF00,  Access sequence assigned is KF00 and two condition tables "Incoterm" and "Incoterm Part1 + Part2" are assigned to it.
In the Access sequnce of your Freight condition type , add another/new condition table "350" (Sales organisation). This table is already available in standard system.
Select the new condition table row, and click on the "Field" in the dialog box till the technical names are opened up / shown inspite of warning.
Once the technical names of the fields are shown , you can see the green light there, then save it.
Now, create a condition record (VK11) for your Freight condition (e,g. KF00) by choosing the "Sales organisation" level  from the key combination.
Then go to the Copy control (VTFA), find the combination "G2 from CR "> go to Item level > select item category G2N and go to details.
Here, you change the "Pricing type" value to " H " and save it.
Now, when you will create a Credit memo with reference to the Credit memo request, the  new Freight condition (KF00) will come into effect in the Credit memo, even if ,it was not there in the reference document.

  • Why need to link credit memo with invoice

    Hi, gurus,
I received an AP invoice valued $2222 and then received a credit memo valued $222 about 1 week later.
Now I need to make payment.
I was told it's good to link credit memo with invoice by entering invoice number in the field "invoice reference" when creating credit memo. But I'm not sure why it's better because system will pick up both items anyway when i entered $ 2000 using f-53 to make outgoing payment.
The only reason i can think of is this link will guarantee that credit memo has the same terms of payment with invoice.
Is there any other good reasons? Any help will be appreciated.

    Dear,
We need to link credit memo with invoice against for two obvious reasons
1.. Future tracking of all credit memo i-e if we gave excess credits to vendor then it was against which invoice. This will create linkage and tracking of credit memo with invoice that will be shown in FBL1N .
2..At the end of specific time period ,month or quarter ,its a normal practise to reconcile vendor balance as per SAP ledger to that of vendor's own book. At that time you will need credit memo track also that against which invoice was the credit given.
This all can be achived after posting credit memo with refrence to invoice number. Audit perpective should also be kept in mind. Hope this will help you
