Everytime I open firefox it says my user name and password are invalid, I tried resetting my password, but have not received the email with password details firefox claims to have sent - what do I do?
Having tried to ask this question it didn't recognise my account, so have now created another one, with the same email address, just to ask this question, it doesn't make sense.
* "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
* "Remove the Cookies" from sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

I recently created a new Appleid and then the password to my old Appleid suddenly did not work. When I tried to reset the password I do not receive the email with the link and Apple does not either recognize my birthday. What to do?

When attempting to sync my new android phone (galaxy S4 to galaxy S5), my firefox profile name on firefox sync is incorrect by one letter. Instead of kokochako it reads kokocako. Im concerned because my name and password are the same ones i use to log in on my laptop and my previous smartphones. I am unable to sync my acct or make any changes to my profile name. I hit forgot password to reset, but since the email is incorrect Im not getting an email to change it. I havent changed my name ever and my password hasnt been changed in at least 6 months. this problem has recently occured for unkown reasons, i opened itunes and error messages where there, i have tried re-installing itunes but it freezes and makes me cancel the dowload. when i plugged my i-pod into the computer it didnt open itunes (which it should do) and when i opened itunes the ipod connection wasnt being picked up. how can i fix this problem?

imovie will not let me load a movie to You Tube. The error message from imovie says it is the wrong password and user name. I rechecked it and it is right.
It can be tricky sometimes. Go to your youtube account in Safari and try logging in. They might have changed the security requirements. In addition, you might find this software easier to use for uploading video to youtube.

How can i get firefox to remember my user name and password when useing email?

* Websites remembering you and automatically log you in is stored in a cookie.
* You need an allow cookie exception (Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: Exceptions) to keep that cookie, especially for secure websites and if you let cookies expire when Firefox closes
* Make sure that you do not use [[Clear Recent History]] to clear the "Cookies" and the "Site Preferences"
Clearing "Site Preferences" clears all cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, and password exceptions.

Probably because the address you provided as a rescue email when setting up your account is not longer valid. Contact Support and ask for account security.

My preordered album says its purchased, however I have not received an email for me to download it
The album I preordered's expected release date was today, so I go on my ipad to see if it was downloaded and when it wasn't, I checked itunes, where it states that the album I preordered is purchased, but gives me no link to download it. I also checked my past purchases on my ipad and on itunes and the album doesn't appear, however, does show up when I click on manage preorders, I also checked for available downloads with no results. I then researched online and apparently you receive an email when the content is ready to download, however, even though my album says it is purchased, I haven't received an email yet telling me the album is ready to download. Is this what is supposed to happen? I have tried everything to try and download my preordered album which states it is purchased, however, I do not want to pay again for an album which is telling me is already purchased. Is it possible the album is purchased, however, the content is not ready to download yet?

Click Purchased in the Quick Links section.
Select the content type that you want to download (Music, Movies, TV Shows, Apps, or Books).
Select Not in My Library to view purchased content that isn't on your computer.
Find the item that you want to download. You can browse using the menu to the left. If you have more than 2,000 songs, you will see Recent Purchases instead of All Songs or Albums.
Click the Download icon next to the item you want to download.
If an item is already in your library, the Download icon won't appear.

I installed the most current operating system on my iPhone today so I can use iCloud. Unfortunately, I can't use iCloud because in settings under iCloud, I receive a message that my email address can't be verified. Themessage also a message in settings that says to check my email for instructions to verify. I have checked all of me email folders for the email. I am using the email account associated with my apple ID. Does anyone know what to do? My email address is a yahoo address if this is relevant. thanks!
On your computer's iTunes you should be able to edit your payment info by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should be a payment link. If you are doing it on an iOS device (iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch) then try tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store (Settings > Store on iOS 5 and below) and selecting 'View Apple ID' on the popup - that should also give you a payments link on your account's page.

If you've received an email then if it's not personalised (e.g. 'dear client' or 'customer'), is in poor English, and has a 'verify now' or similar link in it's a phishing attempt to try and get your iTunes account and payment info - in which case you could forward it to Apple :

No need for alarm. There are several folks a day posting like threads. Most folks know these phishing attempts for what they are and merely delete with prejudice.
To the bottom line... if you wish - and I am sure Apple will take notice - you should FORWARD the email to [email protected] and delete.
