If Whatsapp essential then un-install Font Zoomer application as you can't always expect third party applications to be compatible with each other.

  • Somyac Font Zoomer ruined my font size??

    I have a nokia n8 with anna. I recently installed font zoomer 3.20 full version. From there i notice a bug (wheneven in the photo gallery the options/exit buttons are in black instead of white making them impossible to see on a black background) so i uninstalled the font zoomer app.
    once uninstalled i restarted my phone only to see that my font size had shrunk. Large font was now normal size. Normal font was now small size. and small font was now extra small size. I have tried re-installing and hitting restore font size and uninstalling font zoomer at least 15 different ways with no success. Along with messing with the font settings in messaging>options>font size and messing with settings>phone>display>font size with no success. And have also did the soft battery reset of holding the top button down for 10 seconds. none of this worked.
    Is there any files or something I could delete or do to fix my issue without hard resetting the phone?? Thanks!

    Though the Hard Reset wipes everything from the Phone memory only,you may require to re-install some of the applications that are installed on your Memory Card because the attributes if any that gets created in the Phone memory to run these gets erased too.
    Most probably, re-installing the Firmware sounds a better option, though a Back-up is always recommended...

  • Help N8 Font Zoomer application ruined Font

    hi,
    I used the Font Zoomer application to increase my phone font size to 140%.
    But when i reset it to 100%, i still feel that it has a bold kind of effect, as every thing feels different.
    I am uploading images of my home screen and some homescreen from different mobiles. Please check if you feel some difference and tell me how to recitify this error.
    If you look in my homescreen the clock number "11:39" seem thick and bold while in other home screen the number are not bold.
    Also if you see the date on " this is my home screen.jpg", you see it is bold.
    While in other images you see that it is not bold.
    Please help!
    Thank you in advance.

    Has novelty worn off and you want to un-install this application?
    Have to say that it is strange that Psiloc Font Magnifier has not been released for Symbian^3 OS yet, although believe on some Symbian Anna firmware versions so whether there can be issues magnifying I don't know.
    You are correct that still not as default comparing these two screenshots:

  • Font size bug in iOS 7.0.4 mail app?

    Hi,
    I experience a strange behaviour with iOS 7 mail app. When I try to read a plaintext mail with the iPhone in portrait orientation the font size is oddly big. I can "zoom" in with a two finger pinch but I cannot zoom out to decrease the font size.
    Is this a bug, a setting I activated somewhere, a silly feature?
    Thanks for advice,

    Yes, the time and date is correct. It just started happening a few days ago and has bene like this since. I cant even open the mail, because theirs no content in them. Nor can i delete it.

  • Firefox does not retain my font/zoom size ?

    The submit feature menu page brought me here so I presume that iceweasel and firefox will behave the same. Recently I upgrade from 3.X.X to 6.0.2 and 7.0.1, and I noticed that whenever I visit a particular web page, and I notice the fonts are too small, so I enlarge/zoom it using control-vertical scroll to the right font size I prefer. But the next click I make put me back to the old default font size. Ended up I have to control-vertical scroll on EVERY page I visit. This was not like that when I was using 3.X.X version. And I checked other browsers they are not like that too. This behavour is it a feature or a bug ? It's really annoying to me. It is definitely not friendly to people with visual difficulties.

    You can use an extension to set a default font size and page zoom on web pages.

  • CS4 nested pdf font encoding "bug"

    I receive many pdf artwork files daily. We process all art through InDesign.
    There is a "bug" with nested pdf files when exporting out of CS4. If PDF/X-4:2008 is used, the fonts render correctly. If any other setting is used, the fonts do not encode with Identity H and display incorrectly when viewed in Acrobat 8 or below. They do appear correct in Acrobat 9. The text appears as boxes in
    If Pitstop is used to outline the fonts in Acrobat 8 or below, they do outline correctly.
    If print to postscript through CS4, all text views correctly in all Acrobat version.
    These problem nested pdfs have intermittent output results through Heidelburg's prinect rips.
    The trouble I have is reproducing the issue. I cannot create a pdf and then nest it in another pdf to generate the problem.
    I do have a number of samples from different clients that have the issue. Some of those original pdfs were created in InDesign. None of these problems exist beforehand.
    Have anyone come across this issue and found solutions. (besides PDF/X-4:2008 setting)

    This issue is now fixed in the 6.0.4 update:
    An important update to the InCopy and InDesign products has been released today!
    To install the update, choose Help > Updates from any Adobe CS4 application, or navigate to the Adobe Updater and launch it:

  • Zoom Bug in FCPX 10.2

    Press Z to go into the magnifying glass.  Click around to zoom in on the timeline.  Now, hold option key down to zoom out.  Magnifying glass icon stays as a plus.  It doesn't turn into a minus like it used to.
    Small bug.  Can anyone else reproduce it?

    Looks like a - sign to me

  • Second Display Menu Font sizing bug...

    A bug that's been around far too long has to do with menu text on the second display screen not adjusting when the custom identity font is changed (reduced in our case).  It would make sense for the font size to be the same on both displays.  The font size always stays the same on the second display.  Please fix this in version 3.

    I was able to reproduce the behavior on my machine and I will report it to R&D. Hopefully this issue gets fixed in one of the next releases.

  • Photoshop CC: Font size bug

    I have been working on a project today and suddenly I cannot change the font size anymore.
    If I select the text layer with the move tool and double click the layer in order to edit the text I cannot change the size of the font by pressing the up and down arrow keys. The only way to get this to work, is to select the text layer using the text tool, select all the text and then use the arrow keys.
    It has worked earlier today, so something must have caused this bug to happen. Can it be some fonts that I have installed?
    I have tried to restart my computer, I have reset all warning dialogs, I have reset the fonts in the font book to the default ones, I have reset the tools in Photoshop CC.
    Nothing works!
    Any ideas?

    It's a bug that appears after scaling text. Adobe knows about it. The work-around for now is to not Edit>Transform any text.
    Very annoying indeed.

  • Major font substitution bug in Illustrator CS5

    Hi all,
    This took me a good long time to track down, and since I didn't find any information here and Adobe technical support was no help, I figured I'd post the result. Happy new year.
    Here was the problem. Working in CS5, intermittently we would get font reflow issues. In addition, when going to edit the type boxes with font reflow, we would get the message, "This text was created in a different version of Illustrator. Editing the text may cause some changes to your text layout. Basic formatting will not be affected. Do you want to continue?" Please note it says "different version" rather than "previous version". These files originated and stayed in Ilustrator CS5! If we hit OK, the type would snap back to the original state!!! Worse, if the type was copied and pasted, or anything in character or paragraph styles was edited, it would snap back without ANY warning. Now you see it... now you don't. Major problem in any print environment.
    So here is what I found, and this is a CS5 exclusive. If you are working on a file and have a font set open which includes a font from one foundry, and then opened another document and activated a font set with an identical font from a different foundry (the original font closing), the kerning for the original document (in the background now) would be set to zero (rather than auto) and the font would reflow. If you didn't notice the reflow, and saved the file, well it would create the condition as described above. Of course it isn't ideal to have the font foundry change like that, but bottom line usually you could get away with it... maybe with one or two characters moving slightly. In the new CS5 world, Illustrator decides you really don't need ANY kerning pair information and then helpfully tells you it was a "different" version of Illustrator that caused this. Heh.
    What a mess. Bottom line, make sure your font management application is set to throw warnings when conflicting fonts are opened, and most importantly, leave the original font open! Do not allow the new font to be opened until the conflict is resolved.
    If your font management application does not have this option (Universal Type Server 1 did not), you better upgrade or forget about using Illustrator CS5 in a heavy production environment.
    Adobe, this was a major change and a major headache. You have some explaining to do...

    Confirmed this is being generated entirely in CS5. I opened the font Sabon. I created a text box. I pasted in some generic type I had just made in text edit. I changed the font to Sabon and the paragraph to justify. I saved and closed the document and closed Illustrator. I closed Sabon and opened Sabon from another foundry. I opened Illustrator and opened the document. All looked good. I duplicated the text box over and outlined the type. I went into the font manager and closed Sabon. I opened the original Sabon. DING! Type reflow. I saved as a second document. I copied the outlined type and closed the document. I opened the original document (note the original font is open). No problems. I paste the outlined type (type outlined with the wrong version of the font active) and it lands exactly in place. I open the second document. The type that reflowed now gives me the stupid message about another version of Illustrator screwing it up. I hit OK and the type reflows back to the way it is supposed to be.
    This proves that the kerning changes weren't due to differences between the fonts. This proves that Illustrator CS5 has a MAJOR type engine bug that could easily spell disaster in production.

  • Font Management Bug

    Been looking for a fix to this for a while but can't seem to find any answer, so here it goes. I've been dealing with a specific font management related bug since I updated to Lion. It's an issue involving FontExplorer X 1.2.3.
    If a font is activated on my system (via FontExplorer) and I am visiting a website unto which the same font is integrated via @font-face, the font will instead render a bunch of As inside a square in Safari 5.1, Times New Roman in Chrome 13.0, but it will render correctly in Firefox 5.0.1. Deactivating the font in FontExplorer and reloading the page will make it render correctly in all browsers.
    This said, I work in web design and it's been making my life horrible since I upgraded to Lion. I have tried emptying font cache, did not worked. Anybody else faced this issue and found a fix?

    Actually, I did. It mentionned cleaning font cache, emptying your font collection and starting over, and also that the problem seemed to involve system fonts. I tried cleaning my font cache with no results, same with emptying my whole font collection and re-importing it over. Also, the font I'm experiencing problem with is not a system font.
    Guess I'll just wait for a fix from Apple, and use Firefox for web developement in the meantime.

  • AIR+iOS=StageVideo zoom bug

    Hi,
    Using the StageVideo and Adobe AIR 3.2 SDK for an iOS app brings a strange zoom when the video starts, anyone any ideas of how to solve this problem?, is this a new bug in 3.2 SDK?
    Also a few months ago we  post an issue concatenating videos using the StageVideo where trying to play videos one after each other shows a flashing (video clears itself making impossible to play them seamlessly):
    https://bugbase.adobe.com/index.cfm?event=bug&id=3133620
    http://forums.adobe.com/message/4192764#4192764
    Anyone is experiencing this 2 issues,  any workarounds?
    Thanks

    Hello again,
    Any chance that this bug will be looked at again?
    I see someone else inquired about it here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/5319200
    I have tried to "make some noise" on the bug ticket, but there doesn't seem to be anyone listening.
    For some of us, this is a very signficant problem, as our software requires absolutely precision when a video starts to play, and this bug is effectively breaking that capability.
    Our customers continue to complain, and I have worked around it the best I can by hiding the video until the moment it starts playback, but this is inconsistent at best, because it is essentially nondeterministic - I can't know exactly when the "zoom" effect has stopped, so I either see an "bump" at the tail end of the zoom effect if I show the video too soon, or I skip frames if I hide the video for too long.
    Should I just assume this bug will never be fixed, and that Adobe has abandoned their interest in StageVideo on the iPad?  If that is true, it is criticial for me to know so that I can begin planning on another solution.
    Thanks for your help.

  • AS3 dynamic font embedding bug

    Hi all,
    Is there a known bug for the following case?
    Case:
    A project I'm working on doesn't seem to handle font embedding correctly when the font is added dynamically using actionscript. When I test my movie it does not display the embedded font at all. Curious about this is, that when I create an empty project using the same code and then embed the font and test the movie it displays the font without any problem.
    Sometimes a reboot of the machine I'm working on will suffice to make the embedding work again, but sometimes is not all the time. So I was wondering if there was a memory related bug that causes this behavior. If so, is there any sight on a solution for this bug? It's more than annoying to reboot eight times a day, just to test a movie.
    How did I embed the font:
    1. Create a "New Font" in the Library, set the properties and give it a classname.
    2. Using actionscript to embed the font in a dynamically generated TextField.
    package{
    import flash.display.MovieClip;
    import flash.display.text.Font;
    import flash.display.text.TextFormat;
    import flash.display.text.TextField;
    public class MyClass extends MovieClip{
    var myFont:Font;
    var myTextFormat:TextFormat;
    var myTextField:TextField;
    public function MyClass():void{
    myFont = new Font1();
    myTextFormat = new TextFormat();
    myTextFormat.font = myFont.fontName;
    myTextField = new TextField();
    myTextField.defaultTextFormat = myTextFormat;
    myTextField.embedFonts = true;
    myTextField.text = "Lorem Ipsum...";
    addChild(myTextField);
    Cheers!
    Do

    I don't have Flash IDE on this machine so I cannot say for sure but try to register font:
    public function MyClass():void {
         Font.registerFont(Font1);
         myFont = new Font1();
         // the rest...

  • Font Sizing Bug

      Hey Guys,
    I appear to have come across a bug after updating Photoshop to latest version. This has happened on two of my machines.
    Basically, if I set my font size to say, 12px and then scale this bigger with transform tools making it huge in size. When I click back on it with the type tool, it still tells me the size is 12 px. Even if I then change this to say 6px, it will downsize the huge font to half of its size and not down to 6px.
    Hope this makes sense and any idea on a fix as its prooving to be very difficult to work with.
    Update:
    Just an addition to this, I just reinstalled Photoshop, tried the above before updating and it worked as you'd expect. When scaled the type up using transform and then clicked on the type it would say it was 152.8 for example. If changed it back to 12, it changed back to 12.
    Updated my Photoshop to latest update, scaled it up and clicked, said it was still 12pt. Very confusing, but has to be an issue with the update.

    Sure
    However, viewing this thread
    http://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/font_style_size_problems
    This is an issue that has been apparent since CS6 was released and something that Adobe are simply ignoring.

  • Font Antialiasing Bug?

    Using the embedded font as follows:
    @font-face {
    src:url("SWFIT.TTF");
    fontFamily: chooserFont;
    <mx:Label color="#ffffff" fontFamily="chooserFont"
    fontAntiAliasType="normal" fontSize="8" text="1"/> is displayed
    in
    this screenshot.
    <mx:Label color="#ffffff" textAlign="center"
    fontFamily="chooserFont" fontAntiAliasType="normal" fontSize="8"
    text="1"/> is displayed in
    this screenshot.
    It appears that when you textAlign="center", the label blurs
    the text. It does not appear to blur if you explicitly set it to
    textAlign="left" or textAlign="right", but only when you set it to
    center. You can download the font I am using at
    http://www.orgdot.com/aliasfonts/swfit3.zip,
    but the problem occurs in all of the fonts I've tried (three or
    four different ones thus far).
    Is this the correct place to be posting these things? I know
    that Adobe folks float around and answer questions, but the footer
    on the forums say it's for user to user interaction. Is there an
    official place to be posting what we believe are bugs?

    Eh...I found the
    bug
    report form. It's the same one as the feature request form :-D.
    I guess the purpose of the post then was to see if anyone else has
    found a fix for this, or in case someone else wanders into the
    problem (maybe it'll save them some troubleshooting time).
