Group Order Confirmation Distribution Quantity

Hi I am implementing the IS-MILLS.
During the group order confirmationn proces the systems distributed the quantity of the individual orders.
Sometime the operator make a mistake and is necessary to cancel the confirmation.
The first time the operator does the confirmation the Confirmed Quantity field in the distribution screen is fine. But after the confirmation is cancelled and the confirmation is execute againg this field has the quantity of the first confirmation (thas was cancelled already) plus the quantity of the new one.
Does any one know if is possible to corrected or modified this behaivor in such a way that after the cancelletion the field has cero quantity.
Example: Suppose the group order has two individual order
First time confirmation:
Yield quantity: 1000
Confirmed Quantity: Individual orde 1 = 500
Confirmed Quantity: Individual orde 2 = 500
Distribution Quantity(Yield to Confirm)  Individual order 1 = 500
Distribution Quantity (Yield to Confirm) Individual order 2 = 500
Confirmation Cancellation first time: After this the order has 0 yield quantity confirmation.
Confirmation after cancellation:
Yield quantity: 1500 ( quantity corrected)
Confirmed Quantity: Individual orde 1 = 1250 = ( 500 first time + 750 second time)
Confirmed Quantity: Individual orde 2 = 1250
Distribution Quantity(Yield to Confirm)  Individual order 1 = 750
Distribution Quantity (Yield to Confirm) Individual order 2 = 750
Any help will be very useful
Thank you
Isaias Morales

This error usually occurs when the quantity at line level does not match with the sum of the distribution of that line. This you can check while selecting that line and then pressing the distribution button on the form.

  • Production order confirmed quantity

    hello!
can i change the settings, that production order atp-check confirms quantities from e.g. purchase requisitions, not only stock in warehouse?
    best regards,
    matthias

    hello!
every supplies are ticked in OPJJ. it works for receipts before demand from production order, but no receipts in future are confirmed.
Date                          MRP element                           Req/rec     Confirm     ***. ATP
    04.03.2009     Stock                                                  1      0

i would expect that the order confirms the quantity from the purchase requisition.

  • Rework order Operation Confirmation and quantity posting to main order oper

    Hi Friends,
I have confirmed first operation of production order by CO11N. While confirming the operation, i entered 5 qty. as Rework Quantity. Due to trigger point function, Rework order gtets generated. After completion of Rework , i confirmed rework Order. Now i want to add this Rework Quantity in the second operation of main order . So i can be able to make confirmation of whole quantity of second operation. How to do this?
Normally system takes the first operation yield quantity as next operation quantity for confirmation.
    Waiting for Reply!
    Thanks!

    Dear,
If a separate rework order is created using the trigger point, the system assumes that both the rework and all subsequent operations are processed via this rework order. As if first operation confirmed as 10  5 as rework quantity.
It means that you can second operation you can confirm as 5 only. So you need to add all operation in reference operation set so confirm all operation quantity here and remaining quantity in main order. So your confirmation yield will remains same.
Or it is only possible to return the successfully reworked quantity to the original order if the quantity check which is executed against the confirmed yield of the predecessor is deactivated using Customizing of the confirmation OPK4. In this case, only the confirmed yield is indeed proposed without the confirmed rework quantity. However, with the quantity check being deactivated it is allowed to overwrite the default value with a larger quantity.
Note that you cannot enter a goods receipt for the rework order since it is defined without header material. Instead, you can enter goods receipts for the original order manually.

  • Set loss quantity to a fixed percentage in Process Order Confirmation - C0R6N

    Hi Experts,
How it is fixed the loss qty percentage at the time of process order confirmation.
I want to set the loss quantity to a certain percentage when compared to the Total Process order quantity.
    For Example:
If the Total processed quantity = 100
                            Yield Quantity = 20.
                             Loss              = 80.
This kind of scenario should not happen, since Loss quantity is very much higher that the yield quantity.  I want to set the loss quantity  to a particular percentage ( say 20-30 %) of the total processed quantity so that the yield quantity will be higher than the loss quantity by a substantial amount. Are there any possibilities of doing this through configuration. If not what are the other options?
NB: Scrap quantity is not maintained at the time of  process order confirmation.
    Regards,
    Umapathy.

    Hi Umapathy,
Yield and Scrap are user entry fields where you can have restriction on entered qty by changing  under delivery and over delivery to error through OPK4 config as shown below. Agree that any qty can be entered in any field (Yield or Scrap)
    OR
You can define the operation scrap. Read the below doc for more details.
    http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-52834
    OR
Another option is to use exit and write your logic based on input yield and loss.

  • Confirm Pick Quantity in Sales Order

    Hello all,
I am getting this error while i am trying to create a delivery for my sales order. How do i confirm the picking to resolve this error.
No schedule lines due for delivery up to the selected date
    Message no. VL248
    Thanks!!!

    Hi
ATP (Available to Promise) must be activated for your sales order type. As a result system would have determined a date when the quantity would be available. If you are trying to create a delivery before this date the system will throw this error. Go to your sales order and for the item that you are trying to create the delivery for, check the schedule line (double click on the material line item and go to the tab Schedule lines). Check the date on which the system could confirm a quantity. While trying to create a delivery through VL01N provide the same date in the selection date and then press enter. If system was unable to confirm anything then it means there is not enough stock to confirm this order for delivery.
    Thanks

  • Stock quantity vs sales order confirmed quantity

when creating a sales order for a particular item, the system confirms quantity 100 whereas when i check the stock status of the material using any inventory report( e.g.. mmbe, mb52), the system shows 200 of the stock in unrestricted use.
When I simulate the material requiremnets using ATP quantities, the system shows a previous sales order against which quantity 100 is shown as confirmed. However, when I checked that particular sales order, it is already delivered and invoiced(hence it should not be shown in the ATP quantities).
Can anyone please help me and suggest what is wrong here? it is very urgent.

I know that 100 materials are already assigned to this order but the problem is that the order is already delivered and invoiced i.e. the whole sale cycle has been completed for that particular order.
    anything else i should check??

  • Sales Order confirmation

    Dear SAP Gurus,
If we have 100 tons order, After the Sales Order creation it goes to Accounts Dept. for approval after get it approved, production dept. as per the produced quantity  they will confirm the quantity for the delivery ex: 25 tons, after confirming the quantity by using Tcode: CO06  system again carrying out credit check and blocking for delivery any solution avoid this.
    Thanks
    MH

    Hello MH,
    Try here:
IMG - Sales and Distribution - Basic Functions - Availability Check and Transfer of Requirements - Transfer of Requirements - Block Quantity Confirmation In Delivery Blocks - Deliveries: Blocking Reasons/Criteria
Here there would be check boxes for order & Conf. for Credit Limit Block.
Try to uncheck the Order & Confirmation Block & see whether it solves your issue.
    Hope this helps,

  • GATP : Loosing order confirmation

    Hi,
I am facing a problem where I loose order confirmation for a line item with multiple schedule lines if I change one of the confirmed lines within the frozen period.
I understand GATP checks at item level. Then how to stop GATP not to check other schedule lines and check only the schedule line whose date is changed?
    thanks in advance,
    shan

    Hi SHAN,
The Product Availability Checking Concept in APO is similar to that of R3.
Only that the GLOBAL AVAILABILITY CHECK in APO includes additional features as Product Allocation, Product Availability, Check against forecast, Rules Based ATP, Multi ATP etc.
Now when do we get multiple schedule lines:
On the Requested Delivery Date, if there is no stock available for a material
the confirmation falls on those dates on which there is stock expected.
    EXAMPLE:
    <b>MDO4 Screen:</b>
    Material: xxxx, Plant: yyy
    May 21, 2007: Stock: 0
    May 23, 2007: PurchaseOrder - 10
    May 24, 2007: Production Order: 10
Now when you place a sales order with a requested delivery date of May21, 2007 for 20 quantity. ( Say the Transit time =0 and there are no other sales orders placed for this material/plant)
You will see the following schedule lines
    May 21, 2007: Confirmed Qty = 0
    May 23,2007: Confirmed Qty=10
    <b>May 24,2007: Confirmed Qty=10</b>
However say you had all the stock on May 23, 2007, you would have got only 2 schedule lines as follows
    May 21, 2007: Confirmed Qty = 0
    May 23,2007: Confirmed Qty=20
Lets think why this happens: The availability check is done against the SCOPE OF CHECK( Business Event-A and Availability Checking Group =xx on the material master) at the line item so that it checks all the incoming and outgoing receipts and requirements for the material in that plant and then arrives at the MATERIAL AVAILABILITY DATE which is determined according to the Stock Availability
The first schedule line is the date which you have requested the 20 quantity and the system gives you a confirmed qty for 0 on the date which you requested.
Now the other schedule lines are the confirmed dates which the system has proposed based on availability check.
Now coming to your question: When I change the date on one of the schedule lines
Say in this example: the third line which is bold
So in a way you are changing the DELIVERY DATE,
When you change the delivery date, availability check happens again at the line item and new schedule lines are determined.
The answer to your question- " Then how to stop GATP not to check other schedule lines and check only the schedule line whose date is changed?" is a BIG NO as it is against the AVAILABILITY CHECK Concept both in R3 as well as APO.
However I would not totally decline as there is nothing which we cannot do in SAP. With customizing(ABAP CODING) anything is possible. It would not be very easy and would you be willing to spend so much time.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask me.

  • PPPI PI sheet to trigger HUM goods receipt and PI order confirmation

    Hi gurus,
We're running into a problem when setting up our PI sheets.
We're using Handling Unit Management for our finished products and would like to use the PI sheet to post both the goods receipt of handling units and the order confirmation. For now let's assume all activities and ingredients are backflushed.
For the HUM section we've created a function module that combines transactions COWBPACK and COWBHUWE. When called by itself it works like a dream.
For the order confirnation we've successfully used standard SAP message category PI13, but also only when called by itself.
The problem is when we combine them:
When combining the Z function module to contain both COCI_CONFIRM_ORDER (from the PI13 message) and our ZHUM function modules, it appears that the COCI_CONFIRM_ORDER blocks the process order so the COWBHUWE part of our function module cannot be executed. This has something to do with the way SAP handles the "commit" in the function module.
Now, I noticed it's possible to include more than one message category in customizing for the PI sheet category (when configuring through the wizard).  The idea is then to process the messages with a background job, filtering through the message category so we do the HUM part immediately and the confirmation only at the end of the shift so they don't block each other.
However, when I do this still only one message category is created after processing the PI sheet.
Do you know how to create messages with multiple message categories from the same PI sheet? Or if that's not the way, is there a better way to set up this process?
Sorry for the long text, just wanted to be precise.  Any help is, as usual, greatly appreciated.
    Kind regards,
    Elt

    Hi
    1. What is quantity of the waste material you get as by product? Do not you wan it to be handled as scrap? What is the %age of scrap you have defined in the BOM for the material? You wll have some data regarding this. Or else how do you arrive at decission that after subcontract processes the waste you are paying him, Is it umpsum basis or material quantity basis. The best way is to have a Subcontract PO, but for that even though you do not weigh the watse quanity you must be having so historical data for the waste quantity generated and the conversion of the sane to other SFG , definitely you can arrive that on a pro_rata basis. Have a Code for the waste mateial. Release Subcontract PO for SFG which is what you get back, and issue the components( waste) to subcontractor.
Please remember your PO intially will be for Provisional quantity if you are unable to reach a fixed quantity. Amend the PO before GR as per the actual quanity for which you wish to pay the vendor.
For the waste quanity stock updation you use 262(w/o refe to Prd order) after the FG is confirmed.
Material price updation happens cirrectly in this process.
    2. You can pay the vendor as you wish by by this process but what about the price updation for the ordered material SFG. When you can receive by product in separate Txn againt FG then why can not you follow the proces no. 1?
    3. I would not liketo suggest 3 rd option as that becomes much comlicated for a simple operation.
    Best Regards

    Hi all,

  • Change Work Center during production order confirmation

    Dear All,
I must to modeling this situation:
I created an production order. In routing I used an work center A.
After I confirmed a half of quantity, the work center A was damaged and I must to change it, with the work center B.
The system allow this change, but when I checked the costing, the situation isn't real. The system counted the costs just for the work center A, and no for work center B.
My question is: it's possible to change the work center, during production order confirmation and the costs updated with new cost?
    Thank you for your answer!
    Regards,
    Marian

once a Order is released, the Process order detaisl for that order is frozen.
however if you want to do it, change the order status to CRTD after reversing the Movements done.
Do READ MAster data , this will copy the new Work center , redo the previously done Moevements.
if the change is long term.
    or
Just manually add the new work center and do the processing. if the change is temporary.

  • Goods confirmation with quantity 0 and final delivery set

    Dear SRM Experts,
I would like to share with you the below problem that i asked to be answered from SAP support and would appreciate any solution suggestions for this problem.
The problem I'm facing is relevant for two of my clients: one using SRM 4.0 with ECC 5.0 and the other using SRM 5.0 with ECC 6.0.
I was looking for a note solution concerning goods receipt reappearing in the confirmation screen (BBPCF02) although the confirmed quantity was equal to the ordered quantity and by chance I came up against note 1292032 - Goods confirmation with quantity 0 and final delivery set; that was released after a long list of notes that DID ALLOW the posting of Goods confirmation with quantity 0 and final delivery set.
    [Note 1292032|https://websmp130.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/sapnotes/index2.htm?numm=1292032]
Applying this note through the note implementation or Support package will ELIMINATE the option for the Goods Recipient (that do not have and will not have a PO change authorization) to indicate in any way that he is not expecting to receive those goods.
Please follow the below example to exemplify this problem:
A PO was created as follow:
    Item Product Quantity Price
    1 A1 10 10
    2 A2 10 12
    3 A3 10 14
    4 A4 10 16
    5 A5 10 18
    6 A6 10 20
A first confirmation was created for the following products and quantities:
    Item Product Quantity Final Delivery
    1 A1 5 X
    4 A4 10
    5 A5 2
A second and FINAL confirmation was created for the following products and quantities:
    Item Product Quantity Final Delivery
    2 A2 8 X
    3 A3 10
So at the conclusion of the above example:
For items 1; 2; 3; 4 the delivery completed indicator should be set as all expected quantities were delivered, as per items 5 and 6 they will remain open and as of note 1292032 there will be no way that the Goods Recipient can indicate IN THE SYSTEM that he is not expecting any more deliveries (keep in mind that he do not have any PO change authorization), and the PO will remain as opened and will keep appearing in the Confirm Goods / Services transaction.
Sending an e-mail to the purchaser, asking to set the Delivery Completed indicator in the PO is not a feasible option as all process should be backed up by the system and sending e-mails cannot be monitored by the system.

  • Order confirmation and Order changes

    Hello Guru's,
I am having following issue, please let me know ur inputs on the same how to handle below situation.
There is Customer Vendor relationship under one system and under one company code.
Customer orders goods from Vendor and this Vendor supplies goods against this PO. These are nothing but plants in reality.
    1) There is no issue when creating SO against the PO raised..
    2) Once the SO is created how to send sales order confirmation and how to add the confirmation line in PO?
    3) When the sales is changed and changes made at the time of sales order creation wrt to PO from customer: how to send these changes to customer and update his PO also.
Please let me know if anyone has gone thr' such situation. This should happen via ALE IDOC only.
    Best regards,
    Prasad

    Hi Kris,
It's ok.. as I knew the process.
The problem I had, when I change sales order and trigger ORDERS05 and ORDRSP idoc then it shows changes but also it shows all the sales order data.
The requirement which I have is as below:
    1) If the sales order is changed then send only changed data and update the PO at customer side which is in same system.
i.e. let us say sales order is created and confirmation also send via ORDERS05 and ORDRSP. Now when SO is changed for quantity and price, then I want to send only these quantity and price changes via idoc and update PO accordingly.
This also applies for back order processing or supersession, where date or item itself can be changed or added.
Please come back if knows further.. Awaiting for ur reply.
I am interested to know what steps I have to follow and even if any routine I need to write to capture these changes.
    Best regards,
    Guru
