does your email address have uppercase characters in it?
if so, try creating an alias in lowercase (go to preferences in iCloud webmail and select 'accounts') and see if email sends okay from that -

Try to restart your Mac. If the library is really in use by another application, that can clear it.
Tell us more about your system. Which version of iPhoto are you using? Which version of MacOS X?
Where are you storing your iPhoto Library?
What happened before this problem first started? Did iPhoto crash? Did you move the iPhoto Library somewhere else?

Go to your Pictures Folder and find the iPhoto Library there. Right (or Control-) Click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents'. A finder window will open with the Library exposed.
Look there for a file called ‘iPhoto’Lock.data or similar. Drag it to the Desktop. Make no other changes. Start iPhoto. Does that help? -
I have a big problem, I don't know what I touched but when I open up my iTunes I can't see all the icons. The only icons showing are "podcast, iTunes U and Downloads" so in other words I can't find the movies, music etc. Which means I can't buy/rent!

If your iPhone is connected to a company Exchange server or otherwise managed by them, they can set and enforce restrictions and set a passcode to keep employees from changing them. If this might apply to you, talk to your company's IT department.

A few days after i've updated to iOS 8.1.1 my iphone 5s died and isn't turning on and its not charging. i have my legit charger that came with my phone and after 6 months it stopped working, i even have a charging case and that wont charge it. Help! My iPhone 5 has recently started to "die" at about 20 or 30% battery depending on where I am or how cold it is (i.e.it doesnt seem to die as fast with Wifi in my apartment but will drain so quickly and die at 40% battery life when i am at work. So today, my battery died at 56% YES 56%!!! GRRRRR. I have tried everything online articles tell you to do in order to conserve battery life. Also, our chargers have all gone caput this past week. I believe it is the adaptor as when the cord plugs into the computer it will charge. WT? All our apple products have gone berzurk this last week and I beg for an answer!! The phone is over one year old, along with one charger. But the other TWO chargers were purchased recently and they all stopped this week. Any guidance or help with fixing this the most cost effective way would be much appreciated!
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
Everything that cames in the box is included in the 1year warranty, unfortunately you're just outside of that warranty. Regardless, if the above troubleshooting does not resolve, take the device to Apple and they can determine if the issue is the device, the charger(s) or something else. -
My MacBook is not connecting to the host computer for the printer. The host computer has a static IP address which is different from the IP address that the laptop is looking for. How do I change the laptop so that it looks for the host computer's correct IP? The laptop is connected to the router. I know this because I can get on the internet with the laptop.
The host computer is Dell and the operating system is Windows 7. The printer is an Epson, and it is wired to the host computer with a USB cable. It does have host printing turned on.
The three have been working harmoniously for a long time. The router had to be reset; and after that, the MacBook documents would no longer print.
We created a new static IP address on the Dell but the MacBook is not recognizing it. We have researched the internet trying to figure out how to make the MacBook locate and recognize the correct IP address from the Dell so they can communicate with each other. The laptop is not communicating with the host computer because is is looking for the wrong IP. The host IP is 192.168.1.245 and the laptop is looking for 192.168.15.237.
I hope everything is clear. The person who originally set it up is no longer available to help me. Thank you for any help you may give me. -
My Ipad is stuck on the connect to iTunes screen, I have tried plugging into iTunes but it makes the necessary noise but the computer does not recognise it and nothing alters on the Ipad screen. Have tried various computers and leads and it still does not work. Have also tried the switching off, plugging in to computer and turning on again using the on button and then the home button but nothing works. This happened while I was downloading software update. Please help me.

It can take more than a few attempts before Recovery Mode will work and you have to follow the steps exactly. DFU mode is even harder to perform correctly beside of the 10 second hold. Don't stop trying. Eventually one of these methods could work for you.
