Have a small notice telling me to enter a valid email with a box for me to check that says OK I have been clicking on the ok box and nothing is happening

Please someone help me,
I was trying to pay for something and when I attempted to put in my email this small box appeared on the screen asking me to enter a valid email address..
There is a small box that you check that says OK.
I have checked it for hours and nothing happens.
So here I am on my old sony pc writing for help

...and on the form that you were trying to fill out, have you corrected anything that might be perceived as an invalid email address, such as not containing an @ somewhere in it, having spaces in it, or illegal characters?

As I said, I don't use Time Machine, so it'd be best to wait for an "expert" answer, but, with my very limited knowledge, I'd say: probably not - so, for now, I'd suggest you read up on Time Machine:

Sounds like the CD drive died. Luckily they cost next to nothing to replace. Or get an external LaCie instead. I have a dual G4 1.25 and the CD drive was always so anemic I use a LaCie Porsche with it.

Sounds like you downloaded the OS X Mavericks 10.9.5 Update or Combo Update. Neither will work on a version of OS X prior to OS X Mavericks. Those are only used to update an existing install of OS X Mavericks. The Combo will update any version from 10.9.0 thru 10.9.4. The Update will only update version 10.9.4.
You need the full installer of OS X Mavericks from the App Store. However, the App Store no longer offers OS X Mavericks. Yosemite is the new FREE OS X.

You've checked the purchase history on your account to see what app(s) they are from ? If you log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases. And you haven't got any auto-renewing subscriptions : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4098 ?
If you haven't made them, and nobody else has access to your account or devices and may have made them, then you can try contacting iTunes Support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. If you did not do step 4 properly, start all over again.

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

Interactive portions of web sites are not working. I click on the interactive buttons and nothing happens. All these sites work normally on Safari. I am using a MacBook Pro and an IMac.

Examples are click to purchase or click to download PDF files. This is happening on most if not all websites.

Well that's nice and all, but why not just spend the 50 bucks on a router? Also, why do you need a crossover cable? Modern operating systems do not require crossovers anymore.

I have my disk in my computer, and I have put in my serial number. have been asked which applications I want to instal and file path, and now i go to click on install and absolutely nothing is happening. the button is active, but it's not initiating an installation.

It can update & restore etc..
iCloud is just a back up service for the info on your phone..
Have you tried doing a Factory Settings via iTunes..Then a restore.
