Hello, Im trying to update apple tv and on the screen it appears that I have to connect the box to a computer. I did but automatically offers me to restore setting, and even doing that it says it cannot be restore, the light still flashes fast. please
help
You have encounter Activation Lock, the antitheft feature of the iPhone. The previous owner did not remove the phone from their account. The phone cannot be used until they do. Return to the store and let them sort this out. It is very unusual for someone to "forget" to disable activation lock, as it is necessary to do so to erase personal information on the phone. So it is quite likely you bought a stolen phone.

Trying to update apple id and icloud email.
A while ago I changed my apple id email and icloud email but the phone still asks for the old email and it's password. I have now got a new phone and am trying to reset the old one (to give to my son) but it keeps asking for the old email id password, which I've forgotten. When I log in to the page on the website it won't recognise my details so I am not sure what to do next to delete this old email address and reset the old phone.
Any ideas please?If it is an earlier version of your current ID, temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. You should now be able to delete the existing account. Then you can go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.

While trying to update my ipod touch 2nd generation to ios 4.2 i get the messge this ipod could not be restored. Unknown error occured (-1). Tried updating with security software disabled, restarting both computer and ipod still same results any suggestions?

This may indicate a hardware issue with your device. Follow Troubleshooting security software issues, and restore your device on a different known-good computer. If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service.
It sounds like you have a hardware problem ((device may need service). Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

Fortunately, client-side Java on the Web is obsolete and mostly extinct. Only a few outmoded sites still use it. Try to hasten the process of extinction by avoiding those sites, if you have a choice. Forget about playing games or other non-essential uses of Java.
Java is not included in OS X 10.7 and later. Discrete Java installers are distributed by Apple and by Oracle (the developer of Java.) Don't use either one unless you need it. Most people don't. If Java is installed, disable it — not JavaScript — in your browsers.
Regardless of version, experience has shown that Java on the Web can't be trusted. If you must use a Java applet for a task on a specific site, enable Java only for that site in Safari. Never enable Java for a public website that carries third-party advertising. Use it only on well-known, login-protected, secure websites without ads. In Safari 6 or later, you'll see a lock icon in the address bar with the abbreviation "https" when visiting a secure site. -

When I turn my phone on, it asks me to plug it into iTunes. I already tried that and then it prompts me to restore to factory settings.Here.
Your iPhone is in Recovery Mode. You can try this to get it out of it:
Unplug the device from the USB cable if it's connected. Then hold down the sleep/wake button until it turns off. Let go of the button and then hold it down again until the Apple logo reappears. Let it go and the device may boot up.
This only works, of course, if your device was working properly previously. Otherwise, or if that doesn't get it back to normal operation, you'll need to to try to restore it:

First time I'm trying to access the Apple Store on my iMac and for the last few hours I have a message in various languages saying it is being updated.
It is down the world over. Apple is announcing new iPhones (and perhaps more) today at a press conference near Apple HQ in California USA at 12:00 o'clock noon, Pacific Day-light Savings Time. You can expect the Apple Store, updated with the new products, to come back online shortly after the press conference.

I am trying to update Adobe Bridge and Photoshop CS6, because it is not opening my CR2 files taken by my Canon 6D. I have tried to go to help > updates, and the software says that it is "Up to Date". However, if I view the plug-in, it says that Camera Raw is only version 7.1. I can not find a direct download for Camera Raw 7.3, only the DNG converter, NOT CAMERA RAW! Please Help!

Try a hard reset: hold the power and home buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears.

I am trying to update my iTunes and a message comes up that an old copy of bonjour cannot be uninstalled. The download just stops. I tried to uninstall bonjour but it says I need to find an alternate route to bonjour. I'm not particularly computer technically savvy, so I'm not sure how to rectify this. Any ideas?

To install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Bonjour entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time? -

Go to www.ecamm.com and d/l PhoneView.
To prevent a sync when plugging in the iPod/iPhone - hold down the 'option' and the 'command' keys when plugging in the iPod/iPhone - key the keys down until the iPod/iPhone is listed under the Devices list in iTunes - this will prevent a sync from taking place.
With PhoneView you can take the content from the device to the iTunes library.
