Help - Page break won't work

Report in production and my page break isn't working. OM report and should break at every new order. Can anyone review my template?
I took version where it worked, added some data to report and now it doesn't work.

Today, two other users reported issues with the back-forward history list dropping down if they hovered the mouse pointer over the back or forward button -- without clicking -- and then moved the pointer downwards. One user was on a touchpad, I don't know about the other user. Are you experiencing anything like that?

Page break doesn't work in my BI Publisher template

I have been to build a RTF template in Word.
My BI Publisher version is 10.1.3.4.
In my template I have three conditional groups (for-each-group) and I would like to do a page break in each of them.
My template is something like this:
group ROW by MONTH
group by WEEK
group by HOURpage break
*Month: MONTH*
*Week: Week*
*Hour: Hour*
group by GROUP
F
Eend by GROUP
page breakend by HOUR
page breakend by WEEK
end ROW by MONTH
If I put the "page break" before of the "end ROW by MONTH" it doesn't the page break.
My template does the "page break" between different months and weeks, but it doesn't work between different hours.
Can someone help me?

Pages has never been able to split rows across a page boundary & as far as I can tell that has not changed in the new version. You will need to manually split the row into two rows to fit.

Help please - GB won't work - Midi driver conflict with Snow Leopard

I use Snow Leopard 10.6.8 on my MacBook Pro. Ever since I upgraded to this version GarageBand won't work. When I try to launch it I get 3 or 4 pop up screens saying GB has detected software midi conflicts please update your midi drivers. If I click through these and wait for 3 or 4 minutes, GB does open but it takes ages to change anything and it shows there is no Core Audio. It also won't 'Play' an already recorded track and there is no sound for anything.   I have several plugins Including Line 6 Podfarm, and the midi drivers for Melodyne and record through an old Tascam US122 with midi.
One driver for the Podfarm was automatically put in an incompatibel Software folder when I upgraded. I put this file in Trash and updated my Podfarm drivers but it's made no difference.
In GB Preferences it shows the Tascam US122 as my recording/playback and my midi device, but also 'no midi device detected' even though it is connected.   There are no driver updates for this old Tascam model.
Everything still works perfectly in Melodyne. How can I find out which driver(s) are involved in the conflict for GB? I have no guarantee that even if I buy a new Tascam interface, or any other brand, that GB will work, even then.
Is there a way to identify which driver, or drivers, are the problem? Surely that is not beyond what a MacBook Pro can do?

I should have mentioned I use GarageBand 2009. I've read other posts all over the web where people have trouble with this Tascam US122 but with the older Leopard versions. I had no problem with ordinary Leopard 10.5.6 - it's only since I upgraded to Snow Leopard, and it's only in GB.
I've tried a powered hub which has helped others, but doesn't help with my problem.
I reallly only want to know which driver/drivers are the problem.
Then I can work out a solution, even if it means buying a new interface. So long as I can't identify what the problem is, I'm not prepared to buy new equipment that might make no difference at all.

Help - Php just WON't work

I followed these directions and it simply won't work. Help. Why don't you put PHP and MYSQL in the installer itself? This is why I use Apache, and I can't stand Apache, I want to use sun, but apparently there is no hope for mysql to actually worth with your server, and php can?

You might also consider simply using the pre-compiled, comes with an installer script copy of PHP from here .
Unfortunately this version of PHP is a bit dated. Hopefully Sun will update it at some point.

Please help! Ipod won't work with my itunes after plugged into MAC

Hi, I am brand new to my ipod and i plugged it into my PC to get it started, then i plugged it into a friends mac to get his songs- now when i plug it back into my computer it says it is linked to another itunes library and asks if i want to link it back to this one and replace all of the music. I do not want to loose all of the music but want it reconnected to my itunes with the music on my computer and taking the music on the ipod (from my friends itunes) into my itunes. What do i do? I apologize if this is something posted before,i couldn't find an answer. Please help!! thanks

That above article will not resolve the issue. It explaines it clearly in the article.
"Using an iPod formatted for Macintosh on a Windows computer is not supported. Using an iPod formatted for Windows on a Macintosh computer is not supported."
this means that it won't work with out a 3rd party tool. You HAVE to restore it if you take it between different OS. That document works only if your taking it between windows machines or all mac machines.

I need help. Earphone won't work on stereo

I have late 2012 macbook pro, upgraded to mavericks, and when i plug my earphone it won't work on stereo. the left earphone doesn't produce sound. I thought it was my earphone but apparently my earphone is fine when i plug it into my phone. Fortunately the internal speaker still works on stereo. Has anyone ever experienced this ? I can't work if there's no music.. please help!

Go to Applications > Utilities > Audio MIDI setup and see what the settings look like for built in output. Maybe the left channel is muted.
I'd try another pair of earphones too. Maybe it's the earphone jack on the computer.

Everytime I boot up firefox, this help page occurs, won't close and then will reappear dozens of times at the same time

Page break doesn't work for the detail group

I have this report created for Quotations which spreads in 3 logic panels.The report comprises 1 parent group and 6 child groups.Now I want the last child group to appear in a seperate page under the heading 'Annexure'.For this, I set the 'Page break after' for the repeating frame of another group positioned just above this detail group in question. But in the new page not only does the child group get printed but also the master group members and some boiler plate objects i created there.How can i get rid of this problem?

Jay,
Seems something wrong in your reports layout which is a bit harder to underdtand from your description. You can post with a graphical representation of your reports layout model.
BTW, why don' you try the page you want as annexure in trailer section?

Page Break does not work in PDF report when deployed to App Server

I have a report with a PAGE Break before on a repeating frame that holds a matrix report. In reports designer on the PC, the report correctly shows the page break. When deployed to the app server, the report shows the page after the break superimposed on top of the page before the break.
The report has a repeating frame that spans both pages and holds the header information (page 1), and the matrix report (page 2).
Any suggestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

Crystal Reports Designer 2008 and Business Objects Enterprise XI release 2 are not in the same suite release. You should use Crystal Reports Designer XI release 2 to connect BOE XIr2.

Help! Cursor won't work!

I have a Blackberry Curve 8520 and the trackpad won't work. I can select the item it is on and I can access the menu but other than that, I can't do anything else due to the fact that the trackpad doesn't work

You may try to pull the battery out first and let the phone reboot and see if it fixes the issue. If not, then it is possibly a hardware issue and you need to contact your Carrier for that.

Help! - Filters Won't Work!

Hello!
I want to apply the photocopy filter on some of my pictures to create a mock coloring book.
It worked great on the first photo. However, now every photo just turns out all white. I even tried going back and redoing the first photo and that won't work now! I can't figure it out. Some of the other filters are having the same problem.
Any ideas what might be causing this?

Trashing the prefs will fix it, but a simpler fix for some "filters won't work" problems may just require hitting the "D" key to reset the foreground/background colors.

Before Part Page Break Does Not Work

In my database I've defined a sum-summary part. When I check the "Page break before part" checkbox, no page break appears. When I check the "Page break after part" checkbox a page break does appear but of course this is not where I need the page break.
Is this a known bug? If so, is there a workaround? If not, what might I be doing wrong?

It is there but you don't see page breaks within the Outline View.
Outline View is not a way of looking at the layout but at the order of the content and its hierarchy ie its 'Outline'. This is the view that lets you fold up subsiduary sections and grab titles with all the underlying text and drag them from one location to another.
Save inserting the breaks to the normal view.

Help! iPod won't work or connect to XP

Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. All the music was erased off my 5G 30GB iPod Video last week for some reason (interestingly, the photos were still there). When connected to iTunes, it gave me an error message about needing to "reinstall the iPod software."
Today, I got a new hard drive and installed XP Pro on it. I connected the iPod via USB and the little taskbar bubble popped up saying "Found new hardware -- iPod." Next, I installed the iPod + iTunes software from the CD, restarted the PC and run iTunes. My PC and iTunes didn't indicate that the iPod was connected, so I plugged the USB cable into another slot -- nothing. (I know it isn't the USB because I plugged in a thumb drive and it works fine). I've also tried to update/restore the iPod... but alas, I can't because it's not recognized.
What happened to the iPod is even stranger. After the hard drive was wiped, I was able to turn it on and off and view photos. Now, it only displays the white Apple logo with the black background. The backlight keeps switching on and off randomly, the iPod won't turn off, and the hard drive is making the same noise it does when you change a song, only every few seconds (I assume it's doing this because it keeps turning the backlight on and off constantly).
I've only been able to use the iPod one week out of the two weeks I've had it -- and I'm really disappointed about it. Will I have to send it back to Apple? (hopefully under the 30 or 90 day warranty, whichever I qualify for)

5G Video 30GB Windows XP Pro

In order to restore it, it has to show up on the desktop, I think. It doesn't. I downloaded the software, and it's waiting for me to plug in the iPod (which is plugged in).
I actually have been reseting it every minute or so since I read your post. Before I restore it, the battery icon doesn't show any lightning bolt or motion. Then if I restore it, it appears to be charging for a short time. I was wondering if I was going to have to charge it in lots of short increments (I don't have the optional charger).
I dug out the manual from under the desk. And it says that if it is extremely low on power, I may need to leave it charging for 30 minutes before it is recognized. I think from a sentence in there: "Leave iPod mini connected until at least the battery icon animates." So, maybe it is actually charging when it appears to be unconnected and has no lightening bolt.
I've turned it off and left it plugged in and am waiting for a charging battery icon to appear. If that doesn't work, I will try leaving it on and plugged in (so far it just turns off when I do that). Again, any suggestions are welcome.

Help. Screen won't work while charging directly through a wall socket

I need help. 3 months ago I bought an iPod Touch 5th Generation and was surprised it didn't have an adapter with it. So I've been charging through my pc since. Yesterday I bought a 10W USB Adapter and tried it out. It was charging but the thing is, when I started using the iPod while it was charging, the screen isn't that sensitive anymore. It would click on itself, sometimes it won't even work. I don't know what I should do. I spent a lot on this adapter I don't want it to be a waste. And also, would it be okay if I keep using this adapter, even if it means I can't use my ipod while charging, would it have any effect on my ipod in the long run? thanks so much guys in advance for your replies.
