Hide button in Solution Database

Hi experts,
I have a requirement in which I have to hide the buttons "Chat" and "Export to case" in the Soltuon Database Search. These buttons are present in the CART.
I had put a breakpoint the method DO_PREPARE_OUTPUT of the component "IC_KNOWS_CART", view "CART".
But nothing is happening here i.e. the buttons are not getting added.
Could you please help me out on this?
Thanks,
Mohit.

Hi Mohit,
Buttons for that component comes from CART.HTM page not from do_prepare_output.
CART.HTM page you can find in View Layout.
So Please find the below code in CART.HTM page in that component
ls_button-ID = 'Chat'.
  ls_button-TEXT = page->otr_trim('ic_ui_components/chat').
  ls_button-ON_CLICK = 'chat'.
  ls_button-ENABLED = enable_chat.
  Append ls_button to lt_button.
  clear ls_button.
  ls_button-ID = 'Case'.
  ls_button-TEXT = page->otr_trim('crm_ic_appl/sols_case').
  ls_button-ON_CLICK = 'case'.
  ls_button-ENABLED = enable_case.
  Append ls_button to lt_button.
So please use attribute ENABLED to make it disable/enable

Service Desk is working, and I'd like use solution database option. So
I've done whole configurations and their work fine.
    - I've created a support message logging at solman_workcenter
    transaction.
    - Using this support message and SAP Tutor delivered at
    service.sap.com/rkt-solman I've created a solution database.
    - I've logged at CRMC_SAF_TOOL TA->I've marked all checkbox->Check
    button->goto->index
    (bD1lcyZjPTAxMA==)/bc/bsp/sap/crm_ei_cmp_admn/default.htm) and I've
indexed the problem/solution just created following SAP Tutor.
    - If I log on at is01 TA and I view the problem(24)/solution(500000000019)
    just indexed
The problem is that when I'm at crm_dno_monitor TA->select a support

    Database tab->
I press button "Search SDB"->so a popup opens "Problem Search Criteria"

these words appear at problem/solution description, I type these word
at - with ANY of the words:, - with ALL of the words:, - WITHOUT the
    words: but
I haven't hit at the search. At this same pop-up I fill Reference-
    >Problem number field and I type: 24, a hilist appears with the
problem/solution just created but when I press button continue it
doesn't insert the hit at the support message solution database table.
I've followed SAP Note 331109 but transaction IS02 doesn't exists.
The service connection to Solution Manager is opened and access data
    (user solmanadm) is maintained too.
    Please, could you help me?

  • CHM buttons are not localized in a French project (shows English Contents, Index, Search, Print, Hide buttons)

I opened an old WinHelp project into my new RoboHelp 7. When
I generate the CHM, even with the Project Settings in RoboHelp set
to French and running in a French Windows operating system (MS
Windows XP Pro 2002 SP 2), the CHM output is still in English. The
buttons display in English (Contents, Index, Search, Print, Hide
buttons). The title bar of the CHM also says "HTML
Help" even though the project title in the Project
    Settings is "Aide en ligne...".
My Windows Regional Settings through the Control Panel -
Regional Options tab is set French (France). On the Languages tab I
under Text Services and Input Languages, Details button, I selected
French (France) French. On the Advanced tab I selected French. Then
    I rebooted.
On the language bar on my Task pane, I selected FR. The CHM
    still displays in English.
Please help! I have to produce 4 CHMS in languages other than
    English today.
    Thanks!

GinaL, would you be able to give us an update? Did the CHM
files look ok on a PC with a true French OS installed?
To avoid having to rewrite everything, I've written the
following info/instructions for my team -- though I'm not yet sure
    they're 100% correct:
After I reported this issue to Adobe, they worked on the
problem for several days. They even sent me a new
HtmSingleSourceHtmlHelp.dll file that was supposed to solve the
problem. But it didn't work correctly. No matter what contortions
we put ourselves through, we couldn't get both of these items
correct in the CHM file at the same time, namely:
Index compiled in correct alphabetical order accdg to the
    language of the help project.
Correctly translated help title showing in the caption,
regardless of the user's Windows regional settings. (For example,
we wanted "FORMS-Hilfe zu FORMS 5-3" to appear as the caption of
the German version of FORMS help, even if our regional settings
    were set to English.)
I think we'd all agree that the index has to be in
alphabetical order. So from what I've seen, this is what we have to
do when compiling a non-English version of help using RH7:
    1. Set up the project with the foreign name.
    2. Set the language in the project settings. And in the
Project Settings dialog, click Advanced and check out the LNG File
tab to make sure it's using a translated version.
    3. Ensure that the Window Caption setting is correct in each
window included in the project. (On RoboHelp's Project tab, open
the Windows folder, double-click each window in turn, and check the
    settings.)
    4. Set the Language setting in the HHP file to Language=[hex
value for that language]. I found a bunch of them listed on this
web page. Someone else might be able to find a better source:
    https://svn.origo.ethz.ch/scoop/es_scoop_60/library/i18n/locale/nls/i18n_nls_lcid_tools.e
    5. Change your Windows regional settings to the same language
as the help project. (Reboot if prompted.)
    6. Recommended, for safety's sake: Delete the CPD file.
    7. Open the project and compile using RH7.
    8. Check the index's sort order -- is it in alphabetical
order according to the language of the project?
    9. Check the help caption -- make sure it's not "HTML Help".
Note: Any customized buttons in your CHM should appear
correctly translated, but other buttons (Contents, Index, Search)
still appear in English -- at least they do on my PC, even though I
did step 2 above. We need to check whether those buttons appear
correctly when the PC is actually running a true foreign version of
Windows, and not just with temporarily adjusted Windows settings.
OR -- is anyone else able to get these to appear translated in the
    CHM file?
Does anyone have anything to add? Other solutions? Easier
    procedures? Better results to report?
    Thank you
    Eileen

  • Why do show/hide buttons show when PDF is opened?

I've created an interactive PDF with a series of show/hide buttons with rollover actions. When I export and open the PDF, some of the target buttons show up. If I mouseover, they correct themselves and go to their correct hidden state until I mouseover. Is this a bug and is there any way to keep them hidden from the start? Note that the target buttons overlap some, and I'm wondering if that is part of the problem so I'll test that, although not having them overlap isn't a viable solution.
    Thanks!

Thanks for the response. Hidden until triggered was checked. I rebuilt the buttons and they seem to work fine now. It seems like InDesign is very finicky about the order of operations.

  • How to delete / reset a Solution Database Configuration

    Hello experts,
I need to configure a solution database for the Service Desk on a client system.
The problem is, that someone did it wrong before or tried this configuration more than one time. But these configurations are not working.
Is there a possibility to delete those old configurations or reset all the settings? I would like to start the configuration wizard from the beginning and I don´t want to have all the old configurations.
I could not find yet the button "delete current solution database" or something similar.
I just want to start in a clear environment.
    Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance and kind regards,
    Geraldine

A little bit late but, to reset SM configuration you have to delete Solution Manager system from LMDB.
Check SAP Note 2020955 (SOLMAN_SETUP has been reset and is in "grey" status)

It would also be nice if you can throw some light on the use/documentation regarding this bapi.
I am verifying the creation of symptom in table ISMP.Since when i create a symptom through transaction: IS01 it gets created in ISMP table but not through my BAPI. Please help.
    <b>Full points will be awarded.</b>
    Thanks in advance.
    ashish.

    Hi ,
u can create problem and solution in SDB,
    by doing
Basic settings-->define number ranges (this is done by BASIS guys on SAF)
BASIC data filed is not required,
    problems(prob type , prob subtype,define application area)
    Solutions Solution type)
    confugure this fields only ,
all the remaining fileds used to Activity, catalog Mgmt)
    dont go with bapi's
u can use LSMW , this is better.
otherwise copy paste all the FAQ's manually in the system , and compile the Server for Delta compile, fullcompile, cluster compile,

    Regards,

    Hi Babu,
you might try the following on the server where the problem occurred: call transaction SMICM -> Goto Services -> Select the service you are working with ->
Service Change -> increase value for "Max. Processing Time"
In case your application still times out you should see the changed value displayed.
Sometimes just executing the application again 2-4 times might help, because compiling might happen and is taking some time in the system.
With regards to parameters see also SAP Note [824554|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/824554].

  • CRM Solution Database Attachments

We are creating problems and solution in the CRM (5.0) solution database.  I can attach documents to the different solutions, but if I want to attach the same document to 10 solutions I need to do it 10 times.  When the document changes I will then need to update all 10 solutions.
Is there a way in CRM to create one document and link it to multiple solutions so that I will need to update the document one time when it changes?

    Dear Vikas,
Kindly check C13_BB_Config guide as service marketplace.
It says in section 3.1.5.2.3 on page 57, the below mentioned paragraph.
    3. On screen Create Problem maintain the following data:
Be sure that the descriptions of the following problem(s) and solution(s) are defined in all languages that you want to use (e.g., in the E-Commerce Internet Customer Self-Service).
4.Choose Enter. The default parameters are filled; please also see the NOTE following this description.
5.Enter the problem description listed in the box below. The first line should not exceed 40 characters, for this is like a short description of the problem that will be displayed in the first line of the hitlist in the search.
