Hide inactive item codes in A/R Invoice

Hello,
Please let me know the process to block the inactive item codes in A/R Invoice. Even after setting the Inventory codes as "Inactive", the corresponding item codes are still shown in Invoice. Is there a way to block them from being displayed.
Thanks,
Vineela.

Hi
Apply this FMS on Item Code of Invoice
FMS Query:
select Itemcode,ItemName from OITM where OITM.FrozenFor = 'N'

  • Hide inactive items and customers

Is there a way to hide inactive items and customers in SAP Business One 8.8.  I dont want to show inactive items when we are searching for the items if we dont know the sku.  I simply want to hide them from search.  The same applies to customers.  I know there is an archive feature in B1 8.8 but its only for transaction data to archive.  Any ideas anyone.
    Thank you.

    Hi Russel,
In Administration - System Initialisation - General Settings - BP Tab
De - activate DISPLAY INACTIVE BUSINESS PARTNERS IN REPORTS
In Administration - System Initialisation - General Settings - INVENTORY Tab
De - activate DISPLAY INACTIVE ITEMS FROM REPORTS.
I tried this in marketing related docs.
This will restrict inactive master entries from appearing in reports and in transaction screens.
But you can not restrict them in masters.
    Thanks

  • Print the Assembly Parent Item Code only on the AR Invoice

    Hi Experts,
We have this scenario wherein for certain assembly items we want only the Parent Item code to appear on the AR Invoice; printed for the customer.
    How can we achieve this?
Is it possible to specify particular field in the layout?
As per our consultants, SAP B1 standard system does not have a default setup such that manufacturing items can be catered to...
    i.e.if CHILD 1 + CHILD2= PARENT
In this case both CHILD 1 and 2 will be printed on the marketing document.
Is there any other option by which this can be achieved?
    Please revert!
    Regards,
    SAP Version: SAP Business One 2005 B (7.40.253)  SP: 00  PL: 43

    Hi Vithal
    Are you maintaning sales BOM?
If yes then you can achieve your requirement.
When you define BOM then on top level of BOM one check box is there to hide the child component from printout
you can use this option. It will hide the childs and only show the paremnt item.

  • SBO 2007 PLD AR invoice item code not printing

    Hi,
We have a problem which just started yesterday on an installation that has been running fine for a long time.   The PLD format for the AR Invoice usually prints the row ItemCode no problem.  Since yesterday it started printing the item's manufactirers number instead.   If we changed the default layout to the SAP supplied layout the problem was the same.   Went in to the customised PLD and amended it to one field and then back to the ItemCode now it does not print anything in that field, and nor do the system provided PLDs either, although they have/can not be amended.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks
    Simon

    Hi Thanks for the replies,
The system is on SP00 PL49.    There are no add-ons, and certainly no add-on have been removed or added recently.  The AR invoice PLD has been in use for at least six months without modification.   The field for item code in the PLD looks fine, if I amend it to show, say, the INV1 warehouse code instead, it works fine.  If I switch it back to Itemcode it print nothing.   If I check the table it looks fine also.  It is very strange that the same symptom is experienced in the customer modified PLD and system default PLDs
    Any ideas?

  • Hide line items on an invoice

Is there any way to pick and choose or define which line items will appear on an invoice?

    hi,
I think if i am clear you want to hide some item that it should not print in the PLD is it correct.
if so please create a UDF in Marketing Document in row level whether this item should print in the PLD are Not...
If you do like this it is possible....
in the PLD you have to use formula field and check the UDF created is 'Y' then print if it is 'N' not to print all the relevant information in the row....

  • Inactive Items Report - SAP 9

    Hello experts,
I am having an issue with the Inactive Items report in SAP 9 and I'm wondering if anyone else is. This is a system report and as such I do not expect it to have any bugs. What happens is the following:
I enter a range of item codes and a date of 03/01/2009 for all the documents and I get many items that are indeed in these marketing documents (therefore ACTIVE). I read the help for what this report is supposed to do and its supposed to return items that have had no activity in documents from the date specified (not whether they are marked 'Active' or 'Inactive' in their respective item master records.)
Does anyone else have this issue? Is there a setting I have to modify in order for the report to behave as expected? Please advise! Thank you very much!

    Hi Cynthia Besada,
the report is meant to identify items that have not been entered on these documents:
    Sales Quotations
    Sales Orders
    Deliveries
    AR Invoices
    AR Downpayment Invoices
from the date you specify. Even items with zero quanity in the document rows are considered as 'used' in a document & should not appear. If your report output shows items that are found on documents since the date, then there is something wrong & you ought to record a support incident.
    All the best,
    Kerstin

  • Tax Jurisdiction code for EDI Incoming invoice

    Hi,
We have implemented EDI incoming invoice using INVOIC02. The process code is INVL.The invoice is to be posted against a Purchase Order line item. It is noticed that the EDI invoice is not getting the Tax Jurisdiction code from the Purchase Order line . Instead the Tax Juridiction code is copied from the company code. However when we post the invoice manually using MIRO , then the Tax Juridiction code is copied from the Purchase Order. We understand that the system should take the Tax Jurisdiction code from the Purchase Order even for EDI invoices. Is it compulsory that we have to use the user exit EXIT_SAPLMRMH_014 in order to populate the Tax Jurisdiction code field TXJCD from the Purchase Order line? or is there any config required to enable the transfer of Tax Juridication code from the Purchase Order? In transaction OBCE there is a config to transfer the tax jurisdiction code supplied by the external vendor. If we do not check that box , then system is supposed to get the tax jurisdiction code from the Purchase Order.
    Thanks
    Sukumar

The issue is resolved through OSS Note 506343. In the standard R/3 system, the tax jurisdiction code can't be written to invoice via EDI and only the Ship To Plant's Tax Jurisdiction Code is written to the invoice.

  • Item Code Problem

    HI Everyone,
When you try to select item code when invoicing or sales order and when you are in item code selection, it doesn't pop up or load,
    Any idea regarding this problem
P.S. only one usercode account is affected.
    Thanks

    Hi,
Whenever only one user is affected, you need to check the user profile.  The easy solution is recreate a new user id, lock the old user.  If anything that makes it unreasonable, you may need to spend more times to investigate every single part of authorization/form setting issues to this user code.
    Thanks,
    Gordon

  • Item Description disappear on AR Invoice screen

    Experts,
I'm working with a Client where we have a specific Item A that gives an issue. On this Item A we only have 2 warehouses selected (None Default), none of these are the Main/General Warehouse.
When I enter this Item A on a AR Invoice, I first have to change the Warehouse to one of the correct ones before I can enter any other data. Once I did that the Item Description is not populated even though this is in the Item Master.
This is not true for other items with all the Warehouses in the Item Master.
This is also not true when I make select one of the Warehouses on the Item Master A as the default warehouse.
Is there any way to correct this without making one of those warehouses default?
    Regards,
    Marli

    Gordon,
I did some testing on the SBO Demo database.
I took the first item and duplicated this with a new code. I then changed that Item by deleting the General Warehouse from the lines. The GL Method was still by Warehouse and when I then created a Invoice for this Item it showed the Item Description.
When I changed the GL Method to Item Level the Description disappeared.
Is this a bug? Or am I missing something?
    Thanks for your help.

  • INACTIVE Items in ASCP plan

    Hi,
We are having a problem with Items with Inactive status code in source instance showing up in ASCP plan.
Any idea what flags on items that Collection program will check during data pull?
    Thanks
    Sudhakar

    Sudhakar,
It seems you have defined an inventory status of "Inactive" that maps to certain key attributes in oracle inventory. ASCP data collection does not key off user defined status names, but you can setup the system so that the key ASCP data collection attributes become disabled for 'inactive items'.
From memory, data collection keys off of at least three planning attributes to determine whether an item should be collected:
    1. MRP Planning method = Any value except 'not planned'
    2. ATP attribute = If it's needed for atp, its collected.
There is a third attribute, but I don't quite remember and would need to look at the code. I believe it may be the forecast control attribute which would determine if it could be forecasted.
Try deselecting the values above and the item should not be collected.
    Regards,
    Kevin

  • Inactive Items

    Hi all,
What are inactive items by SAP.
when I run inactive items from inventory reports by giving date range as 1 mar - 2008 till date with
    quotations
    deliveries
    orders
    down payments
    and invoices check boxes selected.
the reports lists me 2500 items. some of them are in stock and some of them are not in stock.
In order to cross check i dragged few of the items on order , invoice and delivery and i found the transactions.
All those transactions were old transactions.
Now if i want to delete those items which are not in stock then how do i delete them ?
by passing delete from oitm from query generator won't be of any help.
There are related tables from where the same has to be done.
    Pls. help me in this
    Thanks
    Malhaar

    HI
Items will become 'Inactive" when you assign any Inactive period for that item in item master data...
The item also become 'inactive' when the 'Active period' got expired for that item..
You will find that active and Inactive period for that item in item master data..
People will be using this for specific purpose.....
You don't need to worry about the inactive since it wont affect your Inventory Audit Report....
and it wont appear in any of the transaction...
you cannot delete those items when the transactions has been posted to that...
Don't delete anything from back end in B1 tables it will lead to serious data inconsistencies and lose your SAP support

    Hello,
I had this small problem where i cannot change the tax code of A/R invoice line.

  • Tax code in A/R Invoice drops when the Ware House Code is changed

    Hello All,
I am Using SAP Business One 2005A PL12 with Canadian Settings.
When I add an Item in the A/R Invoice, it comes with a default TAXCODE, but when i change the ware house code the Taxcode drops,
Can any one tell me why is this so?
    Thanks in advance
    Manish

    Manish,
I am not sure if you mean you are using Business One 2005A SP00 PL12 or 2005A SP01 PL12.  In both cases, PL 12 is very old.  You should download the latest patches for your specific version, apply and retry your code.
