Hi. A plug-in is an additional bit of software that a service may require so that you use a site or view certain content.
When one is needed that you do not already have installed, you should be presented with the option to download the plug-in from the software company, which may take you away from the site you were using. Your Model apparently needs to use Apple's "Print & Scan" which is found in Applications>System Preferences>"Print & Scan". There you will follow the following instructions from the HP Support site to Scan, for instance:
Place the item that you want to scan on the scanner glass, or load it into the automatic document feeder (ADF) if your printer has one.
Click the Apple menu (# ), and then click System Preferences .
Click Print & Scan (# ).
Click your printer in the left pane.
Click Scan , and then click Open Scanner .

To back up to your computer, right-click on the name of your iPad on the left side of iTunes and click Back Up. (If running iTunes 11, first go to View>Show Sidebar.)
To get your iPad to back up to iCloud again, try deleting your last backup (if you have one) by turning off iCloud Backup in Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup, then tap Manage Storage, swipe across your backup and tap Delete, then go back and turn iCloud Backup back on again. Move the cursor to the very top of the screen, maybe push up a bit. The main menubar should then appear. All the way to the right should be a bright blue icon - click it, and the Safari window should revert to 'normal' size.
Pressing Command-Control-F should accomplish the same thing.
Once it is back to normal size, click and hold on the top portion of the Safari window and drag to left or right to place it where you want it to be. Once you leave it there, the next time you open Safari it should open its window in normal size at that place.
If you need to re-size the window a bit, you can click-and-hold on the bottom-right corner of the window and drag to resize it.
