How eo add default page in portal under home tab in portal
Hi All,
I have to make one welcome page for my portal the reason behind is that when i log on to portal under Home role theare is no page assigned so blank view is available that looks very dull..
What i want to achive is that to createIview and assign that iview to role so that by default when i log on to portal directly that iview is displyed instead of blank view..
any help will bw appretiated. and rewarded with poinits.

Hi Vinit,
What you can do is that create the desired Page or iView and assign it to the "Everyone" Group, which is SAP Provided, as this group is by Default added to every user., so automatically when you will login to the portal that page or iView will be displayed.
The Everyone group will already have a role "everyone" assigned under itself.So create a Iview adn assign it to a role say "Welcome Page Role" and add this role to Group "Everyone".

Use transaction CL02 , open class in PCL_222_PURO_BOX with class type 300
add characterstic
PCH_COSTING_WGT_DETERM
PCH_COSTING_WGT_A_DETERM
save it.
Now use MM02 and go to classification view , now you would be able to see these characterstic there.

If you want to add custom pages to the Standard ESS / MSS, you have to add the required custom page to the Standard Page which is located at <b>Portal Content -> Content Provided by SAP -> End User Content -> Employee Self-Service -> Roles -> Employee Self-Service</b>
And if you want to display a pdf file in a iView, you can upload that pdf into portal KM and you can create a document iView of that and finaly you can use that iView in your custom page.

How to add addtitional pages in design view?
How do I create additional pages in design view? I have tried using NEW PAGE AFTER, but that doesnt add another page in design view, like I need.
I am creating a report that uses 8 subreports per page to dynamically create labels. Currently I have a report header, and am using the page header to arrange the subreports so the top of each subreport prints on the top of each label. The fields in the subreports can grow, and fill in the label from the top down.
I need to create a multiple pages using this format, but I dont know how to add more pages in design view. Essentially I need subreports 1-8 on page 1, 9-16 on page 2, etc. I would like to preserve the formatting I have created thus far, but I can always change it if I have to.In attempting to create the label sheets I needed, I ended up creating 14 separate reports (which report on 6 individual queries), because there are 14 pages worth of labels that need to be created. What I wish to accomplish is to condense these 14 reports down to 6 reports. One for each query. What I absolutely cant find a way to do, is to get Crystal Reports to allow me to customize subreports on consecutive pages. Again, I have 8 subreports on each page, which have been formatted to fit on 8 labels when printed. Each subreport is identical in design, but has a different range selected (i.e. my driving value in each subreport has been modified with Select Expert to be between 1 and 5, or 6 and 10, or 11 and 15). This is how I have been able to return 5 consecutive results on each label, with the next label returning the following 5 results.
My ultimate question: Is it possible to create a multi-page report using this method? -

you have to set condition like after some number of records displayed in page new page has to be trigger.
ex:YOU HAVE SO MANY RECORDS FOR PRINTING BUT YOU WANT TO DISPLAY 100 RECORDS IN FIRST PAGE REMAINING IN SECOND PAGE LIKE THAT.
Here you can use NEW PAGE COMMAND .
IT IS OPPOSITE PURPOSE OF PROTECT AND ENDPOTECT.

You can add a blank page using Adobe Acrobat DC by following the below instructions :-
1) Open your existing pdf document in Acrobat DC.

3) Now at the top you will see all the tools to Organize the page, Click on 'Insert' & select 'Blank Page' from the drop-down to insert blank pages.

How to add sub pages in iWeb templates
Anybody knows how to add a sub pages in the templates? I want to add sub pages under the main header, e.g. "About Us."
Just to say that you can do it in the way that Steve has already said and I did this on one of my sites and it worked really well.
Lets take your example of About George. You create your page About George and you include this page in your navigation menu. Now lets suppose that you have more that you want to add about George with two other pages - George at Work and George at Play. You want to link to these pages from About George, but you don't want the page names visible. Well, you can do this by creating the pages and then going to Inspector. Click on pages and then check don't include in navigation menu. Then you can create links on the About George page to get to the other pages George at Work and George at Play - use shapes or text boxes to create these with something like Back and Next on those pages to take you forward to the next page and then back to the main page.
I think you will need to create your own nav bar to be able to achieve this, as it means linking to different pages, but it does work well. -

1. check which is the Navigation bar assigned to the profile assigned to Agent.
2.. follow path : Customer Relationship Management Interaction Center WebClient Basic Functions Define Navigation Bar Profiles, look for the navigation assigned to your profile.
3. selecting your Navigation bar profile from Define Profiles and goto Assign Entries to Profiles, here you have Navigation Bar ID and Tittle. Against each of the navigation bar id a position has been assigned.
4. The lowest position assigned to Navigation bar Id will be set as default.
In your profile lowest position has been assigned to Identify Account, you assign even lower position to whichever ID you want to assign as default.

How to set default page in DLN among folders structure

We have the navigation structure as follows.
In Top Level Navigation we have a Role called " Role1"
In Second Level Navigation we have a Workset called "Workset1"
In Detailed Navigation we have a folders as below :
Folder1
Folder2
Page1
Page2
Page3
Folder3
Page4
Page5
Page6
Now our requirement is when user clicks on Role1 then in the Detailed Navigation (DLN) , Page1 should set by default and content in that page has to be displayed in the content Area.
Currently it is happening like, when user clicks on Role1 then in the Detailed Navigation(DLN), Folder1 is selecting by default , then user has to select manually the page1 then that page1 is content is displaying in the content area.
Could you please get back to me what are the properties has to be changed at page level or folder level if any, for achieving the requirement as page1 should set by default when user clicks on Role1 ( from the First Level Navigation).??
I tried the property of "Default entry for folder" for page1 as "Yes", Still it is setting the page1 as deafult in the DLN on click of Role1. Please let me know if any other properties are required to change?
Note : Currently we are using Light framework page fucntionality instead of Default framework page.

Currently we are using Light framework page not Default Framework Page, Inside we have Light detailed Navigation, inside i had check for the property of "Clicking Folder Name Launches First Node", but it was not there for Light detailed Navigation.And this property is there as you said for detailed navigation inside the desktop inner page.
Could you please guide whether out requirement is possible or not with light framework page->light detailed navigation?

Add a page still visible under the gear even Read permissions for the Pages Library
Hi,
Some of the employees have Read permissions on the Pages Library. The permissions have been broken for this Library.
They still see the 'Add a page' action under the gear. So if they want to create a page, SP asks for a page name and then they received the request to get access.
Is it a bug or is it standard?

I have done a test in my SharePoint 2013 to reproduce your issue, but I can't reproduce the issue.
If the users only have read permission on the Pages Library. They can't see the 'Add a page' action under the gear.
I suggest you use check permission to check the permission for the users, make sure they only have read permission on the Pages library.
Then you can do a test in another library and compare whether the issue is exists. if not, remove the user from the Page library and set read permission for him again.
If the issue still exists, Please offer a screenshot about the issue.
