How order got transmitted even if quantity is less than the minimum
Hi All,
We have an issue where an order has been transmitted for 23 cases where minimum is 25. This order came through even if this order is for that part of the region that should not be able to tranmit orders if under min..
Being a technical guy, I am not able to understand the issue itself.
Doubts :
1. How an order is supposed to be transmitted ?
2. What is this minimum below which an order should not be transmitted? Where this minimum value is defined ? Is it specific to customer or specific to area or specific to plant?
In which table or through T-Code I can check this minimum ....
Can you please guide how to explore the above....
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Sanjeet
Hi Sanjeet
You can maintain "Minimum order quantity" in the Material master data.
Go to change mode of material master (MM02), enter your material number, click enter, select the "Sale org 1" tab and continue.
Now, in the "Sales org 1" tab , scrolled down and you will find a field "Minimum order quantity" as you required, save it.
Suppose, you have entered ,minimum order quantity as 10 pcs.
If you create an order for that item and if the quantity is below 10 pieces then system will give you "warning message". This is normal standard setting.
If you want that system should give "Error message" instead of "Warning message" , then go to transaction code "OVAH".
For combination "V4" and "082", change the sytem message to "E" (normally you will find here W).
NOW, SYSTEM WILL GIVE YOU ERROR MESSAGE IF YOU ENTER , in the Sale order, order quantity which is less than the minimum order quantity as specified in the material master data.

Disable Booking if Reservable Quantity is less than the Ordered Quantity
Hi Everyone,
How can we disable booking of sales order if the quantity reservable for an item is less than the quantity ordered in the sales order?
Best regards,
PaulYou need to Modify WorkFlow . You can do something like this.
1) Add a custom node between Book-Eligible and Book Node
2) Write your logic Inside the proc, which will get called from newly created custom node. -
ATP quantity is less than the available stock.
Hello,
A material is managed in batch.
When I create a delivery for a sales order the ATP quantity is showing less than available quantity.
MMBE:
Material: AAAA
Storage Location: XX
Batch: 11001 Unrestricted stock: 742750 KG Blocked Stock: 718000 KG
ATP quantity should be: 24,750 KG
Where as in VL01 while creating delivery it only suggests 24,500 Kg.
What could be the reason.
Sensing deficit of stock, I am creating a planned order through MF50 for another 750 KG.
Then in VL01 I get a proposal for 24750.
Why is it so?Hi S P,
Did you check the all the points from OSS knowledge base article 1837190 - Non-confirmation in sales documents or deliveries because of inconsistency ?

Delivery quantity is less than minimum delivery quantity
Hello Experts,
I received an error log "Delivery quantity is less than minimum delivery quantity 20 EA" when I first tried to create delivery using sales order. Well the reason for the error log was because of the CMIR record maintained in the system with min quantity set as 20 (Ordered Quantity = 10 in the sales order).
After realization, I did delete the CMIR record and then tried to create delivery for the same sales order but I'm still receiving the same error log "Delivery quantity is less than minimum delivery quantity 20 EA".
How can I overcome this issue.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advanceHi Hegal,
Thanks for your quick response.
But I've one more question regarding the same error log.
Initially the Ordered Qty was 10 and CMIR record was with 20 and it gave me a error log (which works as expected).
I deleted CMIR record and it still gives the same error log "Delivery quantity is less than minimum delivery quantity 20 EA".
Later when I increased the sales order quantity to 20 or more, I'm not getting any error log even though CMIR record is not maintained in VD52. This is something which is unusual and I feel there is some place in the file where this information is stored and later compared against the sales order quantity.
This is something which I would like to know for my own understanding.
I did ask user to delete the sales order line item and reenter the same product and now everything is working as expected.
Thanks -
PO is getting released even if the total amount is less than the last PO am
Purchase Order is getting released even if the total amount is less than the last PO amount. The release strategy is only working for the first Purchase Order and if the PO amount is greater than the last PO amount.
Please let me know how to correct this scenario (release strategy).
Regards,
PrishuHi,
Release strategy has nothing do with the previous PO amount. May be, Co-incidently the amount in previous PO which you are referring and the characteristics value maintained in the release strategy is same.
1) Please go in release strategy by the path mentioned below
IMG u2013 Material Management u2013 Purchasing u2013 Purchase Requisition u2013 Release Procedure u2013 Procedure with Classification u2013 Set Up Procedure with Classification
2) Then go to release strategy. Here the total available release strategies would be displayed. Double click the strategy which is getting reflected in the PO you want and go the classifiction tab. There you will get the PO value. Based on this characteristic value the respective release streategy gets refelected.
I hope this clarifies.

How to enable remote debugging for a session other than the current one
Hi all,
I am trying to figure out how to enable remote debugging for a session other than the one I am currently using.
More specifically, we have an application that is making database calls to Oracle 11gR2. Something is causing an exception during this invocation. My system is currently not set up to recompile said application, so I can't just add the debug call to the code and recompile. Therefore I would like to be able to log into the database (as sys, if necessary) and invoke dbms_debug_jdwp.connect_tcp on the desired session.
The docs indicate that I should be able to do so:
dbms_debug_jdwp.connect_tcp(
host IN VARCHAR2,
port IN VARCHAR2,
session_id IN PLS_INTEGER := NULL,
session_serial IN PLS_INTEGER := NULL,
debug_role IN VARCHAR2 := NULL,
debug_role_pwd IN VARCHAR2 := NULL,
option_flags IN PLS_INTEGER := 0,
extensions_cmd_set IN PLS_INTEGER := 128);
But when I try (even as sys), I get the following:
exec dbms_debug_jdwp.connect_tcp('1.2.3.4',5678,<session id>,<session serial>);ORA-00022: invalid session ID; access denied
ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_DEBUG_JDWP", line 68
ORA-06512: at line 1
00022. 00000 - "invalid session ID; access denied"
*Cause: Either the session specified does not exist or the caller
does not have the privilege to access it.
*Action: Specify a valid session ID that you have privilege to access,
that is either you own it or you have the CHANGE_USER privilege.
I've tried granting the 'BECOME USER' privilege for the relevant users, but that didn't help. I read something about having to set some kind of ACL as of 11gR1, but the reference documentation was very confusing.
Would someone be able to point me in the right direction? Is this even possible, or did I misread the documentation?Interesting deduction, that would be very useful indeed. I hate recompiling just to add the debug call, and it can't be done in our production environment. But it seems unlikely to me it would be implemented this way.
I would cross-post this in the SQL AND PL/SQL forum though, as this is really a database issue, not with the SQL Developer tool. Do add the links to the other posts in each.

Message no. RM109 The quantity at RP is less than the quantity at next RP
Hello everyone,
I am getting an error in regards to a reporting point. I tried going into MF4R to reset the reporting points and when I do I get the following message:
The quantity at RP 0220 is less than the quantity at the next RP
Message no. RM109
Diagnosis
The reporting point structure is inconsistent as at reporting point 0220, the backflush quantity is less than at the subsequent reporting point. In a consistent backflush, the quantity at a subsequent reporting point (work in process) always less than or equal to the quantity at the previous reporting point.
Procedure
Check the reporting point stocks using transaction MF26. Post any missing quantities at previous reporting points.
I have went into MF26 and "Yes" reporting point 0220 is less than the following reporting point. My question is... how do I fix this? Any help will be greatly appreciated.Good morning Raj,
Here is what MF26 is showing:

As you can see RP 0220 shows only 38 pcs RP 0225 and up shows 84 pcs. Using MFBF I backflushed 46 pcs to RP 0220 to make it equal to the 84 pcs. But, when I went back into MF26 RP 0220 still shows 38 pcs.

Create TO for a quantity less than the delivery quantity
If we have created an inbound delivery in MB1C, 561 movement to post an initial entry of stocks, and then packed the HU in Vl32N. Now, we want to create a TO for a quantity less than the delivery quantity.
In LT03 I cant see any option to change the TO quantity. How can we actually change the TO quantity to be less than the Delivery quantity.
Thanks
-MikeMike,
I dont think that's going to be possible. The TO gets data from the del qty which is in your embedded HU since you have packed the qty in the del in the HU,
so if you are trying to create a TO with less qty means that you want a qty less that the HU in the del and this is not possible.
Alternatively :
1) You can receive it in your warehouse.
2) Move it in a re-packaging area
3) break the HU and re-create a new HU.
4) Pack the desired qty
5) Move the 2 HU's back to their desired bins.
Hope this helps and works!

How to add a graphic watermark that is bigger than the photo?
How to add a graphic watermark that is bigger than the photo?
Basically I want to add a watermark that is a border, like "outside stroke" so that it doesn't clip the photo.
Upper, left and right side are 10px and on the bottom is my signature that is 40px high. I know how to do this in Photoshop, but can't figgure it out in Lightroom.
The inset function with negative numbers doesn't work, because it only export to the size of the exported image, instead it should resize the image with those 10px up, left and right and 40px on the bottom.
My bordes look like this either one of the two can be used, and if you scroll down you will se how the end result should look like.
And below is what it should look like, so that Lightroom doesn't clip the photo. Are you sure the focus of your piano roll is on the right track? Are you zoomed in/out enough?

How we will know that dimension size is more than the fact table size?
how we will know that dimension size is more than the fact table size?
Hi,
Let us assume that we are going to take Division and distribution channel in a dimension and assume we have 20 distinct values for Division in R/3 and 30 Distinct values for Distribution channel .So Maximum, we can get 20 * 30 records in dimension table and we can take rough estimation of records in the cube by observing the raw data in source system.

Required delivery date in sales order shoud not be less than the inhouse pd
Customer Requested Dates (CRD) entered in orders are often shorter than Product form wise lead time.
Logic to be configured in SAP : SAP should capture the CRD as per the lead time of Products or Date entered by sales persons (whichever is later).
Required delivery date in sales order shoud not be less than the inhouse production lead time.
Please help.
RegardsIMG - Sales and Distribution - Basic Functions - Availability Check and Transfer of Requirements - Availability Check - Availability Check with ATP Logic or Against Planning - Carry Out Control For Availability Check
Here select the combination of your Availability Check & Checking Rule.
Under Replenishment Lead TIme, you need to put a Tick Mark in the Check Box of "Check without RLT"
This will make sure that system considers either the Requested Delivery Date or actual Material Availability Date, which ever is earlier.
Hope this helps.
