How to cancel an iPod service request

A while ago I requested some iPod service, but I ended up figuring the problem out, and just forgot about the request. Now my iPod is fully dead, and I want to send another request, but it says I can only make one request at a time (because the other one is still in effect). Does anyone know how to cancel it? When I click on it, it says "no data".
Any help would be appreciated.
Max

just call AppleCare and tell them you need to cancel. They can look your dipatch up by iPod serial# or your dispatch ID#.

  • Cancelling a product service request?

How do I stop a service request before Apple ships one of those boxes to my mailing address?

Contact Apple by phone or E-Mail..... I do not know the Apple support number so you will have to add some effort into this and do some searching!

  • IPod service request

after inputing my serial number in their support page and agreeing to the terms I am taken to a login page after login in I am taken to a sorry page not able to procees at the moment.... this has been the case for the past three weeks.
anybody have a solution as to how to service request my ipod via their web page

I wish I did - having just been informed by the very expensive 0870 people that I couldn't be typing my ID in right if I couldn't access it(!)
I'm also surprised that this feature isn't more widely publicised on the support site.
Anyone who is disabled in the sense of:
    i. Unable to speak
    i. Physically disabled to the extent that they can't use the phone and type in whatever manner they do.
ii. Has some sort of auditory processing disorder
basically only gets the info about the telephone number in the Applecare manual, and the info about service requesting via the web is not easy to find on the web site (as I spent a good hour looking).
Would be helpful if they could do as some large companies do, and have a link for disabled people advising them of alternative ways to access e.g. service.

  • How to disable auto-completing service request after completing last activity

How to disable standard rule, that change service request status to "Complete" when the last activity in this service request is completed?
    For SCSM 2012 R2

Perhaps you can use the "Closed" status as a way of indicating that your are completely finished with a service request? (This follows ITIL). It has the advantage of being an out-of-the-box feature and, by default, SR's have to be closed by
    a user.
Keep in mind, though, that closed service requests are groomed out of the CMDB (356 day retention time by default, i believe). But, they'll still be available for a few years in your data warehouse.
What is your business reason for this behavior? Console views? Custom reports?
If "Closed" doesn't cut it for you, you may want to consider extending the Server Request class with your own status property that you can use for whatever your requirements are.

  • How does this New iPod Service Work?

I ran across this article today...
    DOWNLOADABLE RECIPES
The iFood terminal at Nordiska Kompaniet's food hall lets customers hook up their iPod and download audio recipes.
The process is described in five simple steps (we couldn't resist including the
Swedish original): 1) Docka - Plug in, 2) Ladda ner - Download, 3) Handla -
Purchase, 4) Lyssna - Listen, and 5) Laga - Cook. After choosing from a wide range of recipes and downloading audio instructions to their iPod or other mp3 player, shoppers can purchase all necessary items from a colour-coded deli area."
Can anybody tell me how this works? Doesn't there have to be an iTunes interface? If there is separate iTunes interface for this service, wouldn't it overwrite everything that is on your iPod and replace it with just these recipes. The service is kind of cool...but how does it work?
    MS

Probably has a custom interface and communications program which allows you to pick the recipes and dumps them onto the iPod.
Wouldn't be too difficult to do. All the iPod managers do something similar (Yamipod, iPodcopy, iPodip) but they do it to and from the iPod.
This would be one way to the iPod only.

  • TS4006 how to cancel a remote wipe request

How can I cancel my request to remote wipe my ipad2? I found it and do not want it erased.

No, you cannot cancel the request.
However, you can perform the backup on the computer through itunes(make sure you are not connected to internet). Once the backup is done, you can turn on the internet on the phone & let the wipe complete.
Then you can restore the data back from iTunes.
    I hope this will help.

  • How to cancell PO from Service Entry sheet

    Hi,
We have many open service Purchase orders in the system(More than 1800) and we would like to cancell these PO's as business dont need the service.
    Scenario:
We have raised PR, which is approved by multi level approvals
After PR is approved, PO is created again approved by multi level approvals
Now 1% of the above PO's required to be cancelled which is almost aroung 1800 in number.
Pls note that we have Funds management active, so budget has consumed in the system during PR/PO process.
Now if we cancel PO's then even PR's also to be cancelled which is very lengthy process, Is there any other way to do this.
Can we do anything from service entry sheet?
    Regards,
    Sunil

    Hi Sameer
I don't think you can close the PO from ML81N without posting some form of service receipt.
Do you have any experiences with the mass maintenance transactions?
After reading some of the discussions below I would suggest you use the MEMASSPO transaction to set the deletion indicator on each PO item (EKPO-LOEKZ) to "L".  Running transaction MASS for business object will get you to the same functionallity.
There is also a MEMASSRQ transaction (or MASS for business object BUS2105) which you can use to quickly set the closed indicator for the corresponding requisition lines.
This doc http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-25758 written by Parag Parikh should help if you don't have any experience.

  • TS1363 How do you find ipod service to reinstall in windows 7

I have an ipod nano 2nd generation and have trouble everytime I try and sync. Itunes tells me it's synced by it hasn't and the device disapears. I've tried help but it only give me Vista instructions I have Windows 7. I've done the re-set numerous times. Usally will reconise the ipod after 4 or 5 reset, but really don't want to have to keep doing this. This has only happened since iTunes new look site!!!!!

In general, you wouldn't want to open DNG photos in Windows 7 somehow, you would want to open them in Photoshop Elements. Windows 7 cannot show you the edits (probably Windows 7 can't even show you the unedited DNG, but I'm not sure about that anymore).
In general, you don't want to edit a RAW and then save as a DNG, I'm not sure you gain anything saving an edited RAW as a DNG, but it sure takes up a lot of disk space. If you edit a RAW and want to save your edited photo, you can click on "DONE", which saves your edits, the next time you open the photo in PSE you will see your edits and you can make use of (print, upload, etc.) the edited photo; or you can click on "Open Image" which takes you to the PSE Editor where you can save it as a JPG or TIF so people who don't have PSE can view the photo.

  • Service Requested what does that mean?

    Hello everyone,
i checked the repair service of my Ipod touch 4g and is says since two days "Service Requested". Do i need to send my Ipod first ? Or what do i need to do ?

    In the Email is says:
To ensure proper handling of your service request, take your product to The UPS Store. Please visit  The UPS Store locator and enter your zip code, then click Find. (Please note that using a UPS Drop Box or any other UPS location--other than The UPS Store--will likely result in unnecessary fees, shipment delays, and possibly the return of your product unrepaired.)
Please print this email and take it along with your product to The UPS Store. Do not include any other items, such as headphones or a power adapter, as they will not be returned to you.
At The UPS Store, please be prepared to provide your Repair ID, which is A91822557. This Repair ID should be available in the UPS system within one hour of the time the ID was created. If The UPS Store has no record of your Repair ID, you may need to wait a few minutes. The UPS Store will supply the packaging, ship your product to Apple using the Apple Corporate Account work order, and not bill you for this transaction.
To avoid cancellation of this service request, you must return your original IPOD TOUCH (4TH GENERATION) to Apple within ten (10) business days. If you no longer require service, simply disregard this email.
So i have to take it to the store and the will give me a box for my ipod right ?

  • Service request question with iPhone 4

Tody I requested a service on my iPhone 4 and did all the steps they required, and it went successfully. I took my iPhone to the UPS store and gave it to them while giving them my repair ID. Later I realized that I needed to change the return address so I called Apple and while I was doing this someone in the dispatch department cancelled my first service request. The representative that I had talked to was kind enough to create a new one for me and that worked out but I had already given my iPhone to the UPS store with the old repair ID. Should I be worried that I will not recieve my iPhone back now that the repair ID I used to give the iPhone to the UPS store has been cancelled? The representative told me that the dispatch department would take care of everything, but I am still worried that now I might not get my phone successfully returned...

    Hello Blowem,
call Apple Support back maybe in the AM
tomorrow to see if they have all of your
info correct. Make sure you have your serial
number and all of the UPS data on hand.
Be patient and polite. I have never had anything
but excellent support from Apple. Hope this holds
    true for you.
    Good Luck,
    A

  • Time Based Service Request Escalation

    HI all
we want to know, how to create time based service request escalation in Siebel CRM On Demand?
    thanks in advance

What you can do within the application is have a report/dashboard to highlight the SRs that are over their planned SLA, but the user will have to be in the application to see it.
If you want a time based WF, it currently is not available within R16, but you can write a relatively simple WS in combination with an integration event to solve this issue.

  • How to cancel a service request?

I had been running the Ipod in the car and noticed it had gone into the red. I turned it off and it went off normally. When I got home I hooked it to the computer to charge and it froze up completely, no response to anything, hold button, click wheel, weirdest yet, the backlight stayed on permanantly. And the computer did not recognize that it was even connected in Itunes or as a drive.
So I freaked out a bit and after an hour or so while( after trying what I could which was basically holding controls down and flipping the hold button off and on ) I gave up and put in a service request, and went to bed.
The next day, I noticed that the Ipod was dark ( which I expected since the battery was almost gone and the backlite was stuck on ). But just for fun I press the clickwheel on and lo and behold, it came back on as normal. I hooked it up to the computer as usual and it was visible to Itunes and the computer as it should have before. So I went through the reset process just in case and relaoded my music.
So I guess there should be a 6th "R" Let it sit over night and see if it still screwed up the next day
Now I'm stuck trying to figure out how to cancel a service after already receiving the return box Which was very fast by the way. Like, 2 days. Anyway, I looked all over the support site and could not find anything that looked like what I needed.
Does anyone have any idea what I need to do to cancel the service request?
