How to make enable send email sounds

After last OS update the email sound got mutted. May be in conflict with Mac notification center, but all my current attempts failed. Any suggestions?

I'll make an even easier request:
I'd like to return the value of a particular field ("PartNo1") to the subject line of the email.
My code looks like:
var cMyMsg = this.path;
var cSubject = this.getField("PartNo1")
app.mailMsg({
bUI: true,
cTo: "[email protected]",
cSubject: cSubject,
cMsg: cMyMsg
but the resulting email subject line yields "[object Field]"
What am I doing wrong?
If I can iron this out, the afore-troubled path syntax is a non-issue.
And...if I could really have my druthers, I'd also add a fixed string of characters before and after PartNo1's value as well.
So it would look something like: Subject: ECO xxxx ready for release

1. Make sure the volume is on. Check that the machine makes other sounds.

Though I'd be surprised if it would be very useful. Things have changed a lot on the internet since that came out. An old version of Firefox might be better. I don't know where you would get an old version of flash. It is an Adobe product.
3. There are no further updates to Jaguar 10.2 than you already have, 10.2.8 that was the last update.

When we first got our new iMac we were able to send e-mail through Safari - somewhere in the last 2-3 years it stopped and we got the failure to deliver message. We then sent e-mails through Mail - it works well and we have gotten used to doing this. I want emails sent there to be automatically forwarded to the eprinter - not allowed

Hello OM2,
You could try adding the email address to your allowed senders list, even if you have it set to everybody. To do this, click the setting button. It should open up to the allowed senders setting. If it is on everybody, change it to allowed senders. Make sure the email you are forwarding form is on the list, and save the settings. Now, if you had it set to everyone, go back into settings, and change allowed senders back to everyone. If you have it on allowed senders, your email is on the list, and you are still having this issue, try setting allowed senders to everybody. If these steps do not work, make sure there is no signature on the email you are trying to send from. Another thing that could be holding it up is the "FW:" at the begining of the subject line. You may need to remove the forward tag from the messages to get them past the gateway server. If you need help finding the setting that turns off the "FW:" tag on the subject line, it would be best to contact your email service provider, since they would be best qualified to help you with that.

How to shorten the sending email waiting time?

I'm using javamail to send email to all customers of my web site. But if there are some invalid addresses, I have to wait for very long time. I suspect the smtp server will retry to send the mail many times but I don't want this, how to set it to make it only try once?

the mail server?All mail servers are different, but they should come with documentation about how to configure them. However, trying once is not a good idea. Mail servers are not perfect, and it is quite possible that the server you are sending to can be down for several hours.

Include txt file (containing email addresses) as option to name in "To" to enable send email to many recipients individually

Thunderbird can be made into a good mass mailing software by having the option of allowing a txt file name in the "To" field. The software then picks up each email address in the txt file and sends the email to each email address individually.
Most people keep a list of 100 or 200 or so emails to whom they send regular emails as a txt or xls file. This feature will help enable people use Thunderbird as the mass mailer and send emails to email addresses in a txt or xls file
Mass mailing softwares usually cost about $ 50 and this feature will save people this money.

But its is in uneditable mode.(gray out)

If your iPhone service is through ATT try the following:
1. go to Settings/Mail, Contacts, Calendars
2. tap the line for your WOW mail account.
3. scroll down to Outgoing Mail Server section and tap the line for SMTP
4. under Other SMTP Servers you should have an entry for "AT&T SMTP Server", if the server is off, tap the line for that server, tap "OFF" to turn the server on
5. tap Done
6. tap the line for the primary server
7. tap "ON" to turn the server off
8. tap Done
9. tap the name of your email account in the upper left corner
10. tap Done
What we are trying to accomplish is to set the primary SMTP server for this account off and turning on the ATT SMTP server.
If this doesn't work or you have Verizon, we'll try something else.

How to delete a "sending" email on the the iphone

While up in Canada, I couldn't send emails even when I added the Shaw Cable outgoing smtp server. Shaw support said it is a problem with the iphones. They may be correct, since I could send outgoing using the same smtp server on an imac and macbook using mail with that smtp server. Incoming email was ok. So, I had attempted to send 3 emails, and for 3 days each time I woke up may iphone, it attempts to send, but can't. No outgoing email box to open and delete these messages!
Crossed the Canada/Washington State border, and two of the emails sent fine (puzzled recipients, getting them 3 days late). Four days later my iphone keeps trying to send one last email, no success. Otherwise, everything back to normal, sending and receiving email in two .mac accounts, and two separate non-mac accounts. My battery is being drained by the constant attempt to send this remaining email. Unlike Mail on the Mac, the iphone has no place that I can find where I can delete this pending email. It's in purgatory! Tried reboot, etc. Any advice?
