    // restore "currLayer" as original?
Hello,
As above code, I am calling "cropLayer()" in a loop.
After cropping a layer, image size is affecting for other layers and gives me error in layer bounds.
Because, size is changed for other layer size after a current layer cropping.
I need to reset/restore layer coordinates before cropping next layer.
Also I tried with 'eventUndo' but can't generate code by listner. How does it possible ?

  • How to restore image after Set Text of Container behavior

Hi there, I'm not sure how to apply the Set Text of Container behavior. Basically, when I mouse over an image, I want a larger version of the image with decription text to appear.  I also want to restore the original image without text on mouse out.
I want the larger image and its text to appear in the exact location of the original image not anywhere else on the page. Here's an example what I've done to try and achieve the effect:-
    1. Create a div and insert image in it.
    2. Select the image and Set Text of Container behavior. Under the Set Text of Container dialog box, select the div that the image is in (e.g. div "apdiv1") and type in the New HTML - For example: <img src="largerimage.jpg"><span id="apdiv1">image description</span>
    3. Set the event to mouseover
I do not know how to proceed to restore the original image without text when I mouse out. I know I’m doing something wrong to achieve this effect but I can’t figure out what it is. Your help is greatly appreciated!

  • Photoshop (cc) crop tool overly sharpens image after crop??

I have just noticed something really interesting and quite annoying about the photoshop cc crop tool.
It seems to slightly over sharpen an image after cropping. Does anyone know if there is a way to disable this?
I did the same crop with the same image in CS4 and looks fine. It's pretty nasty and makes images look very digital.
    Has anyone else noticed this?
    Thanks, Dan

This might have to do with a change that was made to the default resizing technique in Photoshop between CS4 and now.
Try this: Open the Preferences dialog box, and in the General panel, change Image Interpolation to "Bicubic (best for smooth gradients)". Then run the same preset.
If that change makes a Crop tool resize work like it did in CS4, then the reason you saw a change is because in more recent versions of Photoshop the default technique for resampling was changed to "Bicubic Automatic" which tries to pick the right algorithm based on whether you're resampling up or down. It applies to resizing in general (for example, transformations), and you're seeing it because a crop resulted in resampling.
You can test various settings there to see which one is best for your work.

  • How to retrieve original RAW image after cropping and opening RAW file?

    Hi
I have a Canon EOS 350D camera and now have PSE 9.  I have taken some RAW images & imported them into PSE 9 OK.  I know the original RAW image is retained after editing.  However, after cropping a RAW image in the Editor and then "Opening" and "Saving as" a PSD or JPEG, I then close the image in Editor and the cropped image appears in the Organiser.  That is as it should be, I think.  If I then wish to start again from scratch on the original RAW image, it seems to me that I have to manually delete the edited version and the .xmp file in Windows Explorer, and then double click the original RAW file in Windows Explorer, which then opens correctly in PSE 9 Editor.  Can this be done from PSE 9?

When you open the original camera raw image, go to the flyout menu
and choose Camera Raw Defaults, that resets everything but the crop, straighten,
    and rotatate settings.
To get rid of the crop and/or straighten settings, click and hold on the crop tool and choose Clear Crop.
To reset the Image rotation settings, you have manually rotate back using the image rotate buttons.

  • How to restore documents after a clean install when location is not known?

I have had some troubles with my computer recently and the person at the genius bar said I should wipe my drive clean and include everything except my library folders and system folder. The only thing I don't know how to restore is documents that aren't stored in a known location in the finder. What I mean is programs like LittleSnapper or Macjournal that have their files contained with the application (in another words I don't go to the Finder to save or open these documents.)
I did a search for some files from "Things" and it looks like these get stored under the library. Therefore if I choose to not restore the library (like the Genius said) wouldn't I lose access to these files?! LittleSnapper appears to save it's files in a hidden folder on the hard drive called "private". How can I restore that folder if I don't even have access to it?
Do I just export the files from these programs to the finder and then reimport them later? "Things" doesn't even appear to have a way to export it's files that I know of.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide in this matter.

"No program keeps stuff in the private folder."
The reason I thought that is if you open a LittleSnapper screen shot in Photoshop or where ever and then command click on the windows title it shows the private folder on the file's path.
"Before you do reformat, try creating a new user account. See if you're problem still exist within that new user."
Yes I still have the problem with the new user account.

  • How to restore photos after i tried to delete them, they are still there

I tried to delete some photos to give me room on my start up disc. First I tried saving them to a thumb drive then tried deleting the pix. The photos come up blank but I still see them sometimes. how do I restore them completely.
part 2 what is the best way to store them off the hard drive?

assuming that you deleted them in iPhoto to totally remove them empty the iPhoto trash and then the system trash
to move your entire iPhoto library to an external drive
Moving the iPhoto library is safe and simple - quit iPhoto and drag the iPhoto library intact as a single entity to the external drive - depress the option key and launch iPhoto using the "select library" option to point to the new location on the external drive - fully test it and then trash the old library on the internal drive (test one more time prior to emptying the trash)
And be sure that the External drive is formatted Mac OS extended (journaled) (iPhoto does not work with drives with other formats) and that it is always available prior to launching iPhoto
And backup soon and often - having your iPhoto library on an external drive is not a backup and if you are using Time Machine you need to check and be sure that TM is backing up your external drive
How to restore them - if you deleted tehm in iPhoto open the iPhoto trash and right click on them and restore to library

  • How to freeze image after zoom with Camera?

I just watched a tutorial on youtube on how to do what I am asking but its not working for nothing and I have wasted over an hour with this! I have 3 images positioned how I want them in "Z" space.
With the Camera I want to zoom into the first image. That part I know how to do. Once it gets to that first image, I now want it to FREEZE on that photo for a few seconds before it zooms out to the next photo. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to lock the camera on the image before it animates again! I watched the tutorial over and over again and when I try it, it won't work. It zooms into the image but then it keeps animating which looks like a long slow pan revealing the other 2 photos on the screen thats not the look I am going for on this.
Now I will add that the last of the 3 images DOES FREEZE after it animates. I am guessing because I don't have any zooms after that image.
In a nutshell this is what I do.
Select Camera and position the playhead where I want it
Press Record and select the first image which is the one way in the back
Hit my "F" key which automatically zooms into the image and frames it up
Per the tutorial the guy says to now go into your inspector and click any one of the parameters to set a keyframe. Click it once then click it again.
Move my playhead forward to where I want the zoom out to end
Select the next image and repeat the process until I am done.
If you know of another way I should do this or how I can freeze the camera from not zooming out to the next image right away, I sure would like to hear from you! I can't figure this simple thing out for nothing.

When you have more than one camera in a project, and they overlap each other, it'll export the active camera which will be the last one selected. If you only want one camera, then turn off the others.
I watched the tutorial and personally, he's fairly confusing in his explanation, and he's also wrong as well in places.
If you want to use the Frame tool to animate your camera, that's fine, but here's what you need to get it to pause.
Turn on Record Keyframes. Move playhead forward to where you want the 1st move to stop. Select picture in the layers pane and hit F to frame.
Here's the important part: SELECT THE CAMERA. Move the play head to the point where you want the new move to begin. In the inspector, OPT+click the animation menu beside the POSITION parameter. In his tutorial, he says that it doesn't matter what parameter you choose, but it most certainly does.
Then move the playhead to the position where you want the 2nd move to end. Select the 2nd picture and hit F to re-frame.
Rinse and repeat for as many pictures as you want.

  • How to restore images in their homothetic proportions?

Probably simple but impossible for me to find out: How can I reset homotheticly the proportions of images that have been stretched or compressed in the layout?

In Golive for instance, images deformed or not at 100% show an icon in the low right corner and you can restore them on a click of a button. Is it possible to do this in InDesign?
    >homotheticly: What?
    Homothetic transformation: (from Wikipedia.org)
In Euclidean geometry, when not a translation, there is a unique number c by which distances in the dilatation are multiplied. It is called the ratio of magnification or dilation factor or similitude ratio. Such a transformation can be called an enlargement. More generally c can be negative; in that case it not only multiplies all distances by | c | , but also inverts all points with respect to the fixed point.
More simply said, it's the transformation obtained when the length x heith ratio is locked, or when holding "shift" while dragging the corner of the image.
    >You want to restore them to 100%?
100% does not restore the initial ratio as far I as could see. If the image has been made square from a rectangle, it will remain square...
    >What about the frame? Is that also stretched?
The deformation often comes from using a command such as "fill up the frame", unproportionally. Then if at some stage, one changes his mind and wants to restore the initial proportion, for ex. 1-1.5 for a 24x36mm photo...
    >Which version of InDesign are you using?
    4.0.5
