How to see when a field in per_all_assignments_all gets updated?

Hi Guys,
I hope somebody could help me.
My customer needs to receive an alert every time the field per_all_assignments_f. projected_assignment_date gets updated.
When I update this field, these fields in per_all_assignments_f will change:
Projected_assignment_date
Last_update_date
Effective_start_date
Effective_end_date
Object_version_number

Last line is the latest one... but how do I see if the field “project_assignment_date” is the one that has changed?

When you say "receive an alert", what do you mean? You could do the trigger thing, but that leaves you with making an alert from a change...depending on what you intend to it, it might be easier to register a continuous query notification on a query on that column, which would let you register a call back procedure to do something when the change happens.

Field value not getting updated in R/3

Hello Experts!!
I am facing a problem while updating a field value back in R/3.
The Syncbo is of type U01 and the field has data type char 40.
The meRepMeta.XML file has following description

1) when i test the function module in R/3. The field value is gets updated.
2) when i create a record for the sync BO from client , i can see the field value being created on the client.
3) when i synchronize, i dont get any error or warning and get a successful message.

Hi,
please check your maping in the create handler in MEREP_SBUILDER. Perhaps the value is created on the client but not mapped to the field of the function module. Furthermore have a look into MEREP_MON and see if the data gets forwarded in there.
At last I would dump the information received by the function module into a table without any logic. So you can see what data actually is forwarded into the funct module - if brake point i not possible.

Z fields don't get updated in delivery enhancement

Hi,
I have a requirement to create some Z fields into VL02N and VL03N in a new custom tab.
The tab was created, the 3 new fields are being shown (it's created a new subscreen 9000) and its corresponding fields were created in LIKP.
However, when the Delivery is saved, the information from the new fields are not being updated in the database.
I've implemented method IF_EX_LE_SHP_DELIVERY_PROC-SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE from BAdI LE_SHP_DELIVERY_PROC to perform some data manipulation before saving.
CT_XLIKP gets updated accordingly when we change a standard field. But the Z fields doesn't get updated on that.
Anyway, I know I should populate the structure CT_XLIKP in order to save into LIKP, but how should I do to retrieve the data from the fields in order to do that?

Yeah, I think it became a bit strange.
I needed to create the 3 fields only for display information (even in VL02N) because we have interfaces with legacy systems that creates deliveries through remote BAPI call. So, during the bapi call (BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CREATE_SLS), the EXTENSION_IN is being used and through the bapi documentation, we've to create couple of FM's to upload data to a global access area (BAPI exit) and then download it within the delivery BAdI (method SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE).
This way, I take the information from global data (which came from EXTENSION_IN) and put it direct to CT_XLIKP).
Now the question is, I have to open the zfields for edition in VL02N, it was done, but I don't know where or how to take the field's content to put in the CT_XLIKP structure.
If you could provide me with some example of how to use the get/set to retrieve the information from the field, would be very helpful. Thank you !

every time you sync a backup is created. You can find the list of stored backups in iTunes/Settings/Devices. Hover over the name of the device and you'll see the serial number of the device and right next to the backup the date it took place.
But you can't find out if your ipod has been synced on another computer using your PC.

I Want to see when the last time a certain app was downloaded on my phone.

I got the last ~10 logins on the computer, but not the last time a specific user was logged in.

I imported a couple of projects from iMovie HD. iMovie HD would usefully show the date a clip was taken.
(There's "Playhead Info", but that shows the date of import - today!
I have all these old movie clips with no way to see when the video was shot. Where can I see a clip's date in '08?

Correction to original post: the Playhead Info doesn't show the date imported into iMovie 08, it shows the date imported from the camera into iMovie HD. Still completely useless!
I swear iMovie HD showed the date & time the footage was shot.
Oddly, I have one movie event showing the correct date, shot in 2000. All the other videos from 2004-2006 show 2007 as the date! I have no idea what is different about the two unless I used an even older iMovie to originally read the 2000 footage from tape.
I still have the tapes so I can try importing one of the 2004 tapes into '08 to see if it gets the date correct.

How to know whether a field exit is getting triggered or not??

We are upgrading a system from 4.6 to ECC, the problem is that, in earlier system field exit was getting triggered but its not getting triggered in ECC, the field exit is active in ECC but still its not getting triggered.
Field Exit is FIELD_EXIT_SAKNR.

Hi,
As part of the extension concept, SAP allows you to install a field exit for each screen field. Similar to the conversion exit, the system branches at the field exit at DCI (DATA COMMUNICATIONS INPUT) to a function module, if the field is an input field and a function code was triggered. The function module must adhere to the following naming convention:
Prefix: FIELD_EXIT_
Infix: <Data element name>
Suffix: _0 to _9 (optional), _A to _Z
The interface is automatically generated during the creation of the function module, and has 2 parameters:
Import parameter: INPUT
Export parameter: OUTPUT
After a function code has been triggered the contents of the field are made available to the FB via the "INPUT" import parameter. You can edit this and, when changed, make it available to the ABAP/4 processor in "OUTPUT". The input field contents are usually passed on: you can simply write OUTPUT = INPUT.
If, e.g., you have activated the field exit for the data element 'PROGRAM', then the fields of all the screens, which refer to the data element 'PROGRAM', branch to the function module FIELD_EXIT_PROGRAM. This includes the field 'Program' of the initial screen SAPMS38M0100 in transaction SE38, for example.
If you do not want the function module to be accessed from all screens, assign particular screens to the data element PROGRAM. By allocating an exit number, it is also possible to branch to other function modules with the corresponding suffix _0 ... _Z.
Example: You have assigned screen SAPMS38M0100 and exit number 5 to data element 'PROGRAM'. The corresponding field on SAPMS38M0100 branches to FIELD_EXIT_PROGRAMM_5.
As soon as you activate an exit, the corresponding screens are invalidated.
Note: Field exits are only taken into account during screen generation if the parameter abap/fieldexit = 'YES' is set in the system profile.
Requirement
Set the profile parameter abap/fieldexit = 'YES' before system start.
Limitations
The following ABAP statements are not allowed in the function modules of field exits:
BREAK-POINT,
CALL SCREEN, CALL DIALOG, CALL TRANSACTION, SUBMIT,
COMMIT WORK, ROLLBACK WORK,
COMMUNICATION RECEIVE,
EXIT FROM STEP-LOOP,
MESSAGE I, MESSAGE W.
Note:
Field exits cannot be edited with the debugger.
You should not use any external Performs in field exits. The ABAP processor shares the table work areas of externally called programs with those of the first caller. This could lead to errors at field exits that can hardly be analyzed, as field exits are sometimes slipped into the flow of the program at unforeseen events.

I am Using the bapi SD_SHIPMENT_HEADER_CHANGE in my program ...
I am using bapi_shipemnt_create for creating shipment document but, trying to enter the date fileds using this bapi .

Oracle Event alert is based on update of specific table and not on specific column in table.
However you can create a trgigger on table which is based on updat of column. And in this trigger you can send a mail using plsql.

How to see what data fields are linked to

OK, not sure if that is even how to ask for what I am looking for. I am using Jetform Design version 5.3. There is a file at my company that was created before I took over as Systems Admin and one of the fields is cutting off the test string. It is actually the text pay line on a check ie. One hundred twenty three thousand and.......It stops at the word and. It is pulling data from our ERP system somehow and has been confirmed that it does print the cents amount when not printing thru Jetforms to Adobe Central Server. Somewhere in the conversion those final words are getting lost and I have no clue where. I don't know how to look at the link of that pay field on the form. Can somebody please try and give me a hand. Thanks alot!

Can you take a look into the data file (eg. DAT file) which is used to merge with the Jetform template?
I suppose you could see some text like:
^field FD_PAY_TEXT

Please be noted that FD_PAY_TEXT is sample. It could be another name. Then, opening Jetform template by Output Designer and seeking a textbox named FD_PAY_TEXT. You can use the combo box (in the top-right side) that listing all of objects in current template to reach a specified object.

How to see when SR Escalation was created in the Audit Trail

We have an FDA requirement that the Oracle SR audit trail show when an escalation was created and closed. The audit trail doesn't show this currently in our system. Looking for a way to make this appear in the audit trail.
We need to be able to provide a single audit trail through the forms (reports are not acceptable) that shows all SR details (as standard functionality) along with when the escalation was created and de-escalated (or closed)
Any ideas using 11.5.10.2?

I tried to delete the extension, in the Log tab, I only got one error which is:
Table CI_EEW_ORDERADM_H can't be created with package $TMP
Seems like the deletion process tried to change the structure CI_EEW_ORDERADM_H.
I checked this structure, there is already a field added by other developer, but this structure is apparently in another z-package.
So what I should do now?
