HT1238 i tried to download ipod reset utility and it keeps saying that its meant for a 32 bit and not a 64 bit and therefore wont let me download the program, what do i do?
I need to download the ipod utility reset program but it keeps telling me that it is meant for windows 32 bit, i have a 64 bit. how do i reset my ipod shuffle?
In most cases, doing a Restore in iTunes does the job. That Reset Utility was released, because in a very small percentage of cases, the standard Restore in iTunes did not do the job for 1st and 2nd gen iPod shuffles. NOTE: Later shuffle models did not use this utility at all.
So, you shouldn't use that utility, unless doing a Restore in iTunes (from the iPod's Settings tab) did not work, OR the shuffle is seen by Windows, but not by iTunes (so you can't do a Restore). Is this your situation?

You must create the account using an Apple device, a Mac (Lion or greater) or an IOS device (IOS5 or greater). Having done that you will be able to sign in from your Windows machine.
FYI, iCal is an application that can display calendars from iCloud (and others) it is not a calendar itself, merely a calendar client. In Windows Outlook is the calendar client. -
I am trying to log on to iwork but it keeps saying that my password is incorrect. I have already reset it and entered my new password and it still is not working. what should i do?
I really can't comprehend the logic that leads to believe that password for old apple id will come to e-mail for new id. Buy may be I just misunderstood something. Contact Apple for assist with password retrieval. If you can verify yourself as account owner they may be able to help you.

Perhaps the PDF files are corrupted.
Hit the command key and spacebar, a blue Spotlight in the upper right hand corner appears, now type Preview and press return on the Preview program.
Now you can try opening the PDF's from the file menu and see what's going on.
If they are corrupted, perhaps they are trojans from your Windows PC or gotten from a bad location online.
Download the free ClamXav and run a scan on the possibly infected folder. -
I have a file that is something I recorded on my camcorder. I am trying to open it and it keeps saying that a required codec isn't available. This is the name of the file. M2U00001.MPG. What can i do to get it to play.

If I make a new itunes account on my(now my 12 year old brother's) first generation ipod touch, will any data be deleted? It shouldn't be. You can use multiple Apple ID's one one device. But keep in mind that purchases made under one ID are permanently tied to that ID. So if you need to update an app that was purchased with a certain Apple ID, it will needed to be updated with those Apple ID credentials.
