HT1689 I cant get an in app purchase to charge from my iTunes credit instead of my credit card.

Why won't an in-app purchase charge from my current iTunes credit instead of my credit card?  I have $100 store credit and can see the credit in iTunes.

    For info we are fellow users here on these forums.
    The message that you've received from iTunes Support implies that you've violated the store's terms (terms that you agreed to abide by). What that violation is we won't know (and iTunes Support are probably unlikely to tell you, all they tend to do is refer you to the terms as you have been), but probably the most common reason is using a country's store when not in that country - are you in the country that you have listed on your account ?

Are you talking about future in-app purchases or people who have already purchased your app before you added the in-app purchase feature?

    Apple did approve our in-app purchase without publishing the folio ahead of time.
    I have a new question: Can I change the "Cleared for sale" attribute in the iTunes Connect interface from no to yes before a folio's scheduled publication date? Or should I wait until after the folio has been published?
    I would think you could set the "Cleared for sale" attribute to yes before the publication date and it would not cause any problems since the folio is not available to purchase until it's published.

    I just got my Droid 2 and I am trying to set up my calendars like I had in my old phone but I cant get the calendar app to sync to my only gmail account's calendars.  When I try to sync it just brings me to a page that says I can sync contacts and mail but not calendars.  Can someone tell me what Im doing wrong?

    Just checking:
    When you go to: calendar > menu > more > calendars there are no calendars listed that are "synced, visible" ?
    And My Accounts > gmail "account" > Sync Calendar does not exist?
    Are you logged into your gmail account? And can receive email?

    If you mean that you downloaded scramble with one iTunes account and are
    attempting to make an in app purchase with another iTunes account, you cannot
    do that. You can only make in app purchases from the account used to acquire the app.
    If this is not what you mean, provide more details so someone may offer a solution.

    I had to get my iPhone replaced because there was some lint that got behind the camera lens. Before I left to get it replaced, I did a full backup to my iCloud and to my computer. I figured all of my game data was going to be lost except for the games that were in the Game Center. Well when I restored the new phone from the backup, it restored all of my games and the data except for one game that I've made a lot of in-app purchases. The game is listed in the Game Center and shows all of my achievements and what not but when you open the game, everything is gone.
    My question is, can I at least get the in-app purchases credited, refunded, restored, anything at all? I've put quite a bit of money into the game and I don't mind starting over again but I don't want my money just going up in smoke...
    Any suggestions?

    SO, do I delete the app off of both the old 3g phone AND the imac, then reinstall on ONLY the imac, then re sync?  OR, should I delete off computer, repurchase on computer then re-sync with new iphone4?  I realize this is kind of roundabout, but the issue I ran into was too much stuff on my old 8GB 3G, and I was stuck on iOS3 FOREVER (couldn't upgrade to iOS4) soooo, I deleted a whole bunch of piddly apps from the phone ONLY, which then allowed me to update to iOS4 (on the 3G).  Then, I could sync (which I did, but obviously not everything transferred, b/c when I synced the new 32 GB iphone 4, there are  particular apps {doodle buddy and groove, my tap fish...} that are missing the in app purchases, but these are still on the old 8GB 3G).  I am so confused....

    You can try contacting the support staff for the stores at http://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html they sometimes will reimburse, but it is on a case-by-case basis.
