I came on the forum and read a couple of discussions on your pages and found a reply that posted links to the pages where Lightroom 5.7 could be downloaded.
I clicked the link and downloaded the update fine.
However, now when Lightroom opens, it is asking whether I want to BUY or have a free 30 day trial and won't progress any further into the app.
My CC icon reveals that my software is up to date but I can't get past this register screen, without selecting BUY or FREE 30 TRIAL .

Hi just downloaded itunes 10.5.1.42 on windows vista, since then cannot connect to itunes store and cannot update iphone.
Did try to uninstall itunes and to reinstall but no changes still the same issue. Also tried to install older version of Itunes.

Hey so i have a version of a mac i think it is kinda old, it is the all white one i got it like 4 years ago maybe. I got a new ipod recently and i cannot downloade any music onto it. this is because i tried to download the new itunes which it said i needed and now when i try to install it. It says i need a new software so i try to download that and is says i need the mac app or something. but it says i need the new software to get that. so i went onto itunes and clicked the apple and pressed new software and it goes onto this little thing that says my internet is alright but my server has not been connecting. My computer is connected to my school and they updated the server thing and now it wont connect, so i can't win. how do i fix this and download everything i neew?

Does anyone know how to shuffle a playlist BEFORE you sync the iPod with iTunes? With the new software, I don't think iTunes has the option anymore.
The devices that are listed are: 2 under the name of the device that synced incorrectly with mine and then 3 others that are not associated with my itouch. The name of the ipod, before the incorrect sycning is no longer under devices. It has been replaced with the incorrect one because I can see the serial # of my ipod under the wrong name.
The playlists that are in my itunes library are from an ipod that I used a few times before I took this one over... Which happens to be the ipod that took on the ID of my itouch.
Both of these ipods used to be my kids.. I used my sons a few times and then switched to my daughters. They each had their names attachted to their particular devices and now it just says my sons, which is the ipod that itunes was connecting to when all this happened. The really strange thing is my son doesnt use his ipod any longer and now uses his phone for music...So, it had been a while since that particular device was even synced to itunes!

I need help retrieving my ITunes the way it was before my computer was restored and upgraded.
This is why it has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer. Certainly you did nhot restore your computer without making sure your backup copy was up to date.
Use your backup copy to put everything back. -
I couldn't download the new software onto my iPad or iphone because I didn't have enough storage. I paid the $20 for additional storage. Both devices are showing 15 GB of storage but both are still saying that I don't have enough storage available for the new download (3.3 GB req'd) What else can I do?
Delete some apps or stuff off your devices. The 'not enough storage' doesn't refer to iCloud space but space on your device.
If you have a bunch of downloaded music from iTunes, delete it to make room, you can always redownload it after the update. If you have movies, I'd go for them first since video takes up tons more room than audio (delete less movies is the same space as lots of music)
If you have apps you don't use, you can delete those, as long as you don't mind losing any data associated with them. -

i have submit my request since 6 hours, is that normal??from what i hear, it takes a minimum of 72 hours before you hear back from Apple.
but because there are a lot of people are wanting to get their free upgrades, it might take even longer now.

Are you sure it's not 6.1.6? If it is, that is the latest iOS version that will work on a 4th generation iPod Touch. Later versions require a 5G iPod which has twice as much RAM.

Well Bababooey if you're comparing yourself to a Apple Genius Bar then you should already know my answer, your snarky remark get a snarky reply. Why would I go to a salesperson to fix my computer problem when I can go directly go to the source itself. I used to sell Apple computers over 8 years ago and was apple certified before the Genius bar existed. If I am to go about fixing an issue I can't fix on my own I will go to the source itself meaning Apple's programmers and developers - being UI UX Developer myself I know they should have QA'd all platforms and troubleshooted any arising issues.
This was also the first time in the 20 years I've been using a Mac that I even attempted to go on this forum which i thought would put me in connection with a certified Apple representative. This turned out to be a complete waste of time just being a public forum with no Apple employee involved. I was hoping to find a quick fix but in turn I was only frustrated with stupid responses such as yours that were in no way an answer to my original question.
BTW I fixed the issue on my own and without your help or Apples help. I'm glad if all forums point here regarding this issue because I now have the answer. The answer I was looking for from someone earlier was as simple as this {Download Maverick and reinstall the platform - it will take an hour to do but afterward 10.9.2 was installed and my computer is now able to shutdown and restart without having to do a hard boot.} No more software update bar at top and no problems with my drive which I told both you and Grant - I know my computer better than you and I've probably been using them longer than you.
So again Babowa you were so wrong...... and I am right.
Again anyone having the same problem, I suggest reinstalling Maverick and you'll be suprised 10.9.2 will work fine. -
Hi - I recently purchased a new iMac. I have a registered cs5 design premium package which is an upgrade - I have no disc for cs4 but have the qualifying serial number for it. I have installed cs5 via download onto my iMac but it is not accepting the serial number. Can anybody help. Does anybody else think that Adobe will loose a lot of customers by not providing any chat or call support for cs5 users??
