HT1918 I went and tried to change my billing info , but it says that there is a problem with a purchase and to update my billing info. Is this why it won't let me delete my card info to none?

I'm basically locked out of the App Store from downloading and up dating. When I try to update or download anything a window pops up saying to check my billing info or that there was a billing problem, so when I tried to delete my NGO and cha ge it to none there was no option for that. So does this mean that I need to correct the problem first before I can have access to the App Store?

I was given a macbook pro with parallel windows, and later windows was remove but hard disk space is greyed out and could not be merge and when i run a 'verify disk' it told me to reformat my OS. Get an external drive and make a clone of your internal, erase the internal, set it for 1 partition (OSX Journaled) and restore the clone.

what form of media are you trying to download? If a book from the app store, those can only be read on iDevices, not macs.

I've got a similar problem. iTunes v10.2 worked fine, but when I tried to update it to 10.5 I got a 'Bonjour' error. I eventually solved that but I still couldn't upgrade to 10.5, so I deleted every single Apple, Quicktime, iTunes, etc file on my PC using Revo Unistaller (because the normal Windows Add/Delete programs wouldn't work) but now, when I install the latest iTunes version from scratch (on XP SP3), it says: "the installer encountered errors before it could be configured.... your system has not been modified"
Any ideas?

Does the name and address on your credit card match exactly the name and address on your iTunes account, and have you checked with your card issuer to see if they are ones who are declining it ? If this is my personal computer and was able to upgrade to the previous version (pre 10.5), why not now? What is my "package vendor"? And what is it I need to do to fix this? The message is unclear. Unfortunately, I deleted my itunes program, thinking that in doing so, 10.5 would finally load. Now I have no itunes on my computer and unable to sync my iphone. Help!

by "repair" I mean I went to the control panel, option - programs and features, and in the list of all my installed programs I selected "Apple Software Update". On top of the screen you find the options Uinstall, Change and Repair. I clicked the repair button and that did the trick. After the repair I could uninstall the program. I also uninstalled iTunes, Apple Application Support, Apple Mobile Device Support en Bonjour, thus all Apple programs. Then I installed iTunes 10.5 again and everything went fine.

I keep getting a pop up reminder to install Java SE 6. When I attempt to install it an error occurs saying that there is a internet connection problem and the Java cannot be intalled. This thing pops up every 15 minutes. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for any help

OK, so you don't have a working iTunes.
What I would like to do now is to try installing each iTunes component separately.
First uninstall the 5 iTunes programs that you have installed.
You should have iTunesSetup.exe saved in a folder on your PC, probably in the downloads folder. If not download and save it now.
Open the folder containing iTunessetup.exe with explorer.
Next open notepad and copy the following 3 lines into it.
md temp
itunessetup /extract temp
pause
Save the file as extract.bat into the same folder that contains the itunes installer.
Open the downloads folder and you should find the extract file that you saved. Double click on it and a black window will open telling you what it is doing. When its finished, press any key to continue.
You should find that a folder called temp has been created containing all the itunes msi files.
Install in this order by double clicking on them:
Apple Application Support
Bonjour
Apple Mobile Device Support
Apple Software Update
Quicktime
iTunes
If one of the installs fails, stop and post the error message in full. I am hoping that by doing this separately we will get a better error message.

Repair your Apple software update.
Go to START/ALL PROGRAMS/Apple Software Update. If it offers you a newer version of Apple Software Update, do it but Deselect any other software offered at the same time. Once done, try another iTunes install

Exactly as it says above. The computer was given to me as a gift, and the person who gave it to me had already bought photoshop and put it on for me. Photoshop was working perfectly before AVG did the computer scan, and now every time i try to use it a window comes up instead that says "A problem has occurred with the licensing of this product. Restart your computer and re-launch the product. If this problem still occurs after restarting, contact Customer Support for further assistance, and mention the error code shown at the bottom of this screen. Error: 213:11"

Apparently it "cleaned" away needed files.
Most likely you will have to reinstall Photoshop to get all the files back.

Is the replacement exactly the same as the original ie same memory size & same version? If so it may require updating the OS software before trying to restore your stuff from the backup.
