This is not possible...
Anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID.

i just got a new ipad 2 and i can't buy stuff on it asks for security question when my apple id was right why
It's a security feature that was brought in a few months ago - when you try to purchase something for the first time on a new computer or device then you will be asked for the answers to your questions (or to set them up if you haven't yet created them).

You've been hitten by Apple's recent SNAFU. I fear you are SoL until their pending investigation fiasco is over with.

Can't get in to my iTunes account cos it's asking for sercuraty questions and I don't have them and I've try'd what there direct iyu to can one help cheers.
If you mean that you don't have a rescue email address set up on your account as described on the page that you posted from (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.
Contacting Apple about account security : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699
When they've been reset you can then use the steps half-way down the steps half-way down the HT5312 page that you posted from to add a rescue email address for potential future use -
I have an ipod Classic 80G. It is a few years old and hasnt been used for a while. I have just tried to sync it to my new Mac and it says theat thei ipod is synced with another itunes account!!!
It was orriganally managed through my old pc but as far as i am aware the itunes account is the same. If i sync with my mac it will remove all that is in the Classsic and replace it with current itunes!
How can i get round this ?Hi Becki ..
You need to "authorize" the Mac.
Launch iTunes on the Mac then from the iTunes menu bar top of your screen click Store > Authorize This Computer.
Now, using the same Apple ID as you used to purchased iTunes media originally, you should be able to sync all your content.

I got a new iPod Nano for my 80-year-old father who lives with me. I already uploaded his cds to my iTunes account, but when I connected the new iPod to my Mac to put his music on it, the program automatically named his iPod with MY name. I want to differentiate it from my iPod Nano, but it never gave me a chance to give his iPod his name instead of mine. He will not have an iTunes account; I will handle uploading his music and managing his iPod for him, but I need it to set up under his name, not mine. My iPod, iPhone, iPad, etc. all sync automatically with my entire iTunes library. I only want to selectively upload music to his iPod. How can I rename what iTunes is calling his iPod? Alright so I had an iTunes account that as you'd expect was linked to my email. Long story short my email got hacked and hotmail shut it down because my email address which I could no longer get into was sending spam to all my contacts. Anyway I used to keep a lot of the same passwords for different things and I realised that I had the same password for my email as I did for my hotmail so I decided to change both the password and the email of my iTunes account but then I encountered some difficulties. I had to either answer the security questions or verify my email. I'd long since forgotten what I'd put for the answers of the security questions so now I was stuck. So I called apple and the guy helped me 'sort it out'.
I got my new account with its new email and new password and new email. But here's the thing now I can't get any of my old purchases. I've basically lost everything! So I need to get back into the old account and I've managed to get my broken old email restored so it should work now. But it doesn't the verification email doesn't come through! I need to get back on my old account. Someone please help! You can't get any of your purchases because you created a new Apple ID, you didn't change the email on your old one. App and other content is forever tied to the Apple ID used to purchase it. There is no way to transfer them and no way to merge Apple IDs.
You need to call Apple back, explain the situation and tell them you need to change the email on your old Apple ID - NOT create a new one. -

If that doesn't help you might try contacting Apple through iTunes Store Support -
I have an Itunes account already set up, when setting up my hubby's new phone to itunes, I have somehow merged the 2 itunes accounts together and now itunes is not responding to my phone and all of my info has synced onto my hubby's phone wiping all of his info and adding mine...Help!!
If her data was not backed up or synced to something, it's gone. Sorry.

I have a new iPod and cannot get my music loaded on to it. The computer says it's not connected, and then it says it is synced but there's still no mucis on it.
If that's not a real email, you need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.

I am upgrading from a 2nd gen ipod touch to a 4th gen ipod touch. Will I have problems syncing my new ipod to my existing itunes library/account?
Don't know why you would.
You can sync as many ipods/iphones/ipads as you like. -
If I make a new itunes account on my(now my 12 year old brother's) first generation ipod touch, will any data be deleted? I keep telling him that i don't think anything will be deleted and he keeps saying that he'll have to download everything again. Please answer. I've asked identical questions but received no answers.
It shouldn't be. You can use multiple Apple ID's one one device. But keep in mind that purchases made under one ID are permanently tied to that ID. So if you need to update an app that was purchased with a certain Apple ID, it will needed to be updated with those Apple ID credentials.

Will connecting a new ipod to an existing itunes account erase anything?
I have a new itouch and I want to connect it to my existing macbook and itunes account. Will I have any problems? I am afraid that I will erase all my songs in the itunes account...
I have read this, but it does not help. My crashed computer had my iTunes library with MY iTunes ID. The new computer and iPad that i want to transfer my music to, that is on my iPod, is under a different iTunes account. Can I still transfer my music from my iPod to a new computer that has a different ID?
