I can see my purchases (movies specifically) in the ITunes Store when I filter to purchased but when I try to down load the movie it starts to down load and then says Unable to Download Error Code 5105. Can anyone help?

Hi, I had this problem when I first went to use iTunes with iCloud. using Windows 8 OS. Everytime I tried to download from iCloud error 5105 came up... not sure this will work for everyone, but pretty simple, I closed iTunes and restarted it and everything worked fine

To fix Home folder permissions
Open the Terminal application in the Utilities folder. At the command line prompt enter or paste the following command line:
sudo chown -R `id -un`:`id -gn` ~
Press RETURN. You will be prompted to enter your admin password which will not be echoed.

8. Create and answer your secret question
9. Select NONE for Payment Method
10. Fill in Billing Address

You could check to see if there are any other stores that you can buy the song from. How about the artist's website? I've bought a couple of MP3s and even CDs from Australian artist's websites.

You buy one and only one download.
It is your responsibility to move/copy/backup your music.
Certainly you did not update your ipod without making sure that you had transferred anything purchased on the ipod to your computer and included it in your regular backup copy of your computer.

If you're able to connect to your email server and are able send email to other email addresses and if the failures are specific to one email recipient address, then please contact the intended recipient of the failing email, and confirm their address is valid. If you are unable to send any email to any other email addresses and this is specific to your email address, then try the web mail client interface (if one is available) to verify your login user and password, and check with your email ISP for assistance. If your email password works via web mail, follow this Apple troubleshooting guide, then — if everything else fails — I'd probably then entirely remove the email account from Mail.app and re-add it per your email ISP's particular setup requirements. Yes .Just add the songs to the iTunes library you use for the iPod touch and sync them.

We had to intall a new hard drive and upgraded to Windows 8.1. We can see all our music on I-tunes but when we try to sync the gen 5 nano our new music (since upgrade to 8.1) does not end up on the i-pod. Any ideas.

Thanks for the question. I understand you are experiencing issues with the iTunes library on your PC. To begin, I see that you recently installed a new hard drive. Did you happen to copy over files from the previous hard drive? If not, I suspect that the iTunes library is no longer locally stored, and what you are seeing is your iTunes in the Cloud purchases.
Do the tracks have a download icon that looks like this?:
If so, you’ll want to download these purchases as they are not locally stored on your computer:

After doing so, go ahead and attempt to sync your iPod once more.

Click: Edit Payment Information
Make sure you have the correct Security Code.
Then click: Done
