How does my spouse get the benefits of using my iCloud for contacts and calanders but not messages, etc?
iCloud is designed for personal use and not for managing multiple access. If you gives your password to someone else, this person can benefit everything including access to purchase with your account, email, etc.
You should rather consider having each one an iCloud account and then, create and share a calendar. As for contact, you can send them to your spouse to be save in her account but they cannot be shared nor synced.

How to use time capsule for wireless back-up but not internet?
Hello,
I have a tower and recently a laptop at work. The tower is connected to our local network with an ethernet cable and the laptop with wireless. So, the internet connection is fine for both.
I was hoping to use my time capsule to do time machine backups on my laptop. Do you have any advice on how to configure this? I do not want to use the time capsule to extend my Internet, as I believe my work I.T. would prefer to handle all access to their network.
Perhaps there is some documentation about doing this that you could point me to? I have not been able to find it.

There is no reason for you to connect the tower....or anything else...using Ethernet if your goal remains that same as you stated.
If you are asking if you can backup the Tower using Ethernet, and not wireless, then you can connect the tower to one of the LAN <-> ports on the Time Capsule....not the WAN port.

I just have to select the network that it created. Of course, I have no access to the Internet while this is happening and it can not auto backup, unless I am on that wireless signal.
As I stated, that is the downside to trying to back up without an Internet connection. You have to establish another network...and backup over that network.
If you are asking if you can stay connected to the work network while also backing up to your non-Internet "private" network, that is not possible. -
I recently moved and I got a new sim but I still use my old sim. I want to use both numbers for iMessage and FaceTime but i have absolutely no idea how to do it! please help me! I have a macbook pro and iphone 5

So I just updated to the newest update that was available for safari and iTunes but now it won't let me go on the Internet using safari and it also won't let me sync my songs ,,,,,(it takes forever to backup my iPad AND my iPod) so what can I do ?
If you're on windows try the following:
This worked for me an hour ago and has allowed me to sync ok. Still haven't tried downloading the new version 5 to the phone yet as I'm still backing up photos etc just in case.
1. Quit itunes
2. Start an elevated command prompt (Start Menu -> All Programs -> Accessories -> right click Command Prompt -> Run as Administrator)
3. Once in the command prompt type the following 3 words starting where your cursor is flashing: netsh winsock reset
4. press ENTER
5. Reboot your machine
6. Restart itunes & connect device to sync

When trying to send messages in linkedin, firefox takes me back to the log in screen without sending the message. On the error console it shows the error; error in parsing value for "background" and error in parsing value for "filter". What is causing this?
Pages does not support the Apple font used for color emoji, so that behavior is normal.
With what app are you reading the yahoo mail? There is really no guarantee than any other email service will show the special Apple font involved.
You should have no problem putting emoji directly into Mail or Text edit via drag drop from the Character Viewer as shown below.
You should also be able to upload graphics here easily by clicking on the camera icon. My email is tom at bluesky dot org. -

Make sure that the Camera has been charged successfully. The charge lamp lights up in orange, and charging starts once after connecting the Camera to working computer. When the charge lamp turns off, charging is finished.
Note: The charge lamp may turn off when the temperature is outside of the recommended operating temperature (10°C to 30°C (50°F to 86°F)).
If the Camera does not turn ON even after charging it fully; it's required to get it serviced.

I have an iPod touch 4th generation, which is exactly what I wanted for a wifi supported multimedia device. I am trying to get the iCloud to work properly and despite of everything else working smoothly, I cannot seem to be able to get the Photo Stream working, in order to get the backup on iCloud. I tried to download the control panel and realised that it only supports the Vista SP2 and higher on Windows. Is there another way to get the settings on iCloud to include the photo stream?

My computer is a Powerbook G4 is there a version of Firefox Software that will work?
Assuming the battery is not working, I know of no other way to access the data without ripping open the PowerBook. Third-party adaptors are still available and the price is much less than Apple used to charge:

The other option is, as I hinted above, to open up the PowerBook and extract the hard drive. Once out of the powerbook you use a device like this:

It allows you to attach the bare drive from the PB to a USB port on teh MacBook Pro. The drive will appear on the MBPs desktop just as if it were and external drive in an enclosure. -

I never tried this myself, but it explains how you can configure Apache for NTLM authentication which allows you to return the authenticated user name to APEX. But this will probably only work with Internet Explorer.

Thank you!Only iTunes content and photos transferred from another computer is affected when transferring iTunes content and photos from a different computer. Contacts aren't touched unless you choose to sync contacts with a supported address book app. Messages aren't included with the iTunes sync process and the same for photos/videos in the iPhone's Camera Roll.

I have a C6380, The printer works with my laptop running Vista and MacBook but not Windows 7. Why??
I have had my C6380 for quite a while, now. I have a personal laptop running Vista and have no problems. I have a MacBook for work that I use with the printer with no problems. I also have a desktop that was working well for a long time with this printer and for the last number of months (I haven't counted), I have been having a lot of problems.
Either the computer cannot find the driver or the computer delivers a message that the printer is off line (even though it works with the other computers). I use the C6380 via a home wireless network.
Reinstalling the HP Software helps for a short time, but the problem soon recurs.
I cannot seem to find anything in any of the Trouble shooting guides on HP or MS websites. HELP!If it works on one Firefox 3.6.10 installation, it should work on the other - assuming both PC's have exactly the same version of Norton installed, including that Firefox Toolbar extension. Another possibility is that Norton uses a different version of their software on WinXP than they use on Vista.
Tools > Addons > Extensions - does the Norton Toolbar show as being incompatible?
You could try forcing a Norton program update to see if their Firefox extension gets updated. -
How to do one way synch from PC to phone ONLY for contacts and Calendar
Does anyone know how you can synch only ONE WAY - from Outlook on PC to Iphone? I want no information to change in Outlook Calendar or Contacts. I don't want the phone to make any changes to Contacts or Calendar on PC. Thanks!
