While the order was processing, I guess it took too long and a popup said "Server timed out." and I never recieved the Simoleans. However, when I was looking in my E-Mail, I found that I was charged the $9.99 anyway.

Hey man, i just did the same thing and was charged $9.99 plus tax in Galaxy on Fire 2, and was lookiing for help. I got these from turtleshells1998 and lllaass:

That happened to me when i had tower town... I spent $5.99 and the "bucks" did not pop up.
What you have to do is exit the app. Then start up the app again.
If the in app purchase still has not popped up, I would restart the ipod.
If the in-app purchase still has not appeared in the app, I would contact whATever company made the app and ask for your money back...
I, for one, have sent a message to the makers of my game and am waiting for a reply.

I've updated credit card info, I even have iTunes credit in my account. This all shows on the iPad. I'm able to download free apps but can not purchase any apps. However, I was able to for a few days and then 2 days later this message keeps popping up. Any ideas?

I just got an iPhone 4 and I'm trying to use it on the t mobile network. The thing is, I've tried restoring the phone so I could use it. I haven't tried my sim on other phones yet. But I will try to see if it works. The iPhone is supposedly factory unlocked btw. Anyways, when I put in my tmobile sim, it searches for the service, but it always ends up saying NO SERVICE. I checked that my network says that the "phone not allowed". So I don't have 3G on this phone I presume. I heard that you need 3G to have service is that correct? But how do I resolve it? The iPhone does know that my phone carrier is tmobile. It just says no service. And I've tried restoring it three times and turning it off and on and it won't work. I don't have a data plan for tmobile tw! Hopefully someone can help! Thank you so much in advance!
If a phone is sold from one friend to another and wants to use it on a different carrier the friend can contact the carrier it was sold by to request it unlocked. I know AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint will give you the steps to unlock it as long as the original contract it was bought under has been completed. eBay/Craigslist is really not the best place to try to get "unlocked phones" from, if it turns out the phone isn't unlocked then I'm really sorry you got stuck with that one and as stevejobsfan said above I would report them immediately and see if you can recover your money. I sell phones for a living and this happens a lot

I know S. Africa is very restricted in what content may be available, even if it is free elsewhere. Free doesn't mean it is licensed for use in a country.
If you have been trying to use the store in another country to download items you cannot. You can only use a store in your country of residence. -
I have an error when installing apps on my mac from the apple store. It says "return to the purchase page and try again"... I think it is something to do with the installation process itself. I have tried to clear apple store cache, restarted apple store from debug menu, double checked my apple id account and etc..but doesn't work anyway.
I'm having the same problem and went as far as to delete and reinstall the AppStore and still no dice.

Are you adding or changing your credit card details on your iTunes account ? If you have then each time that you do so a small temporary store holding charge may be applied to check that the card details are correct and valid and that it's registered to exactly the same name and address as on your iTunes account - it should disappear off your account within a few days or so.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.

Has CAR 136680 been resolved in LV 2009?
CAR 136680 caused queues and notifiers to become invalid unexpectedly when an application that made use of Force Destroy was used. I believe it was logged too late for LV 8.6.1 but the fix was planned for a future release. I have not seen this issue
