HT3939 LTE/4G Telekom Slovenia???

Hi, I'm from Slovenia and I use the phone network (Telekom Slovenia) I wonder when it will be available LTE/4G for the iPhone 5S. Testing the network were completed last year. iPhone I bought it because it should support LTE, but now I can not use it. I ask for a concrete answer.

    Hmmm. I just ran GeekBench here in Sydney and it has identified my A1429 iPhone 5 as a CDMA version. Whatever, it is running fine on LTE on the Telstra network here.
    Is this just a glitch in GeekBench or is Apple really using the Verizon A1429 version interchangeably with the GSM-only A1429 as the world-phone?

    We habe some locations with very slow DSL connetion (< 200 kbit). Some services need direct vpn-connection to the datacenter and some RDP access etc. - the networks are connceted with LAN-to-LAN ipsec tunnel. Work's fine with slow speed.
    Now we like to set up one side with LTE. Did someone set up ipsec with one side via LTE via Telekom or Vodafone in Germany ?

                      98 (GPRS Service Code) a digit string (value 98) that identifies a
                       request to use the IP service
    CID (PDP Context Identifier) is the connection profile number (see show cellular 0/2/0 profile ), number between 1..16 This profile contains the APN name.

    (Or simply *99# ,  default CID is obviously 1 )

    Wenn ich auf Verbinden klicke, baut sich die Verbindung mit Glück auf, bricht aber sofort wieder ab.
    Es gibt ein paar Threads zu dem Thema, aber meine Frage ist, ob jemand das nachvollziehen kann?

    das antwortet leider nicht meine Frage. 
    Wenn ich die Techniker die solchen Probleme untersuchen besuchen gehe, bekomme ich Fragen gestellt. Die Leute erwarten genaue Antworten von mir und es reicht leider nicht "Es gibt so ziemlich nichts, was ich oder die Leute hier im Forum nicht probiert hätten" zu sagen.
    Die APN Settings sind schon von die Techniker als Ursache ausgeschlossen.

    last month my carrier Slovak Telekom launched 4G/LTE network in our country (www.telekom.sk/english/press-center/press-releases​/slovak-telekom-launches-first-nationwide-4g-lte-n​... I would like to use my BB Q10 (SQN100-3) in 4G network, but my Q10 is not supported yet (in network mode 4G is missing). When will be Q10 supported? From what/who does the 4G/LTE functionality depend? From mobile carrier or BlackBerry?

    you are right Q10 supports all Slovak frequencies you mentioned. There was not a problem with supporting frequencies. There was the problem, that LTE setting was disabled in the Network mode before May 2014. Thanks to the latest OS update 10.2.1.3175 released during end of May 2014 is LTE already enabled in the Network mode menu. Slovak Telekom LTE is available from November 2013. It means I was not able to use Slovak Telekom LTE for 6-7 months due to disabled LTE capability in the Network menu with Slovak Telekom SIM card on my Q10. I think it is very long time for waiting to a carrier update. It is finally ok

    I can't think of many purchases these days that would be more exciting than a new tablet, especially were I to be going on a much anticipated vacation like you did. I can only imagine your disappointment when the tablet developed unsolvable problems at the very beginning of your trip.

With that said, I'd like to see what options may exist for you in consultation with your local store. At what store location did you attempt to make your return? Do you recall the name of the manager to whom you spoke? 
    In addition, I recommend that you contact Microsoft about your Surface Pro 3. As the manufacturer of the product, they should be able to present options for service under the factory warranty.

    Apple only guarantees LTE support using an iPhone designed for the country/region, on a supported carriers network, in that country region. Fact is, there are only three supported carriers in Malaysia, and U-Mobile is not one of them. Further, the iPhone is not officially sold in Cambodia, so if that's where you purchased this phone, then you purchased a grey market import, that could have come from anywhere.
    That's why you don't have LTE.

    LTE uses different bands in different geographic regions. So a phone sold for use in one region may not support LTE in other regions. See: http://www.apple.com/iphone/LTE/. It will still work on 3G/GSM.

  • Z1 (Germany) no incoming calls by full signal (LTE, 3G, H+, etc.)

    Hello there!
    Since a few weeks I've the problem that - from time to time - nobody can call me although my signal is very good.
    The caller is being forwarded to the mailbox, because my phone is not available. And also text messages do not come in.
    When I do a restart, I get several SMS with notifications from hours/days before, that I had a call in absence.
    Latest example is from today: Yesterday, my girlfriend tried to call me several times but couldn't reach me and I didn't get any text messages. This morning, I've tested it again from different phones with different networks (friends and even with my boss at work). Nothing, I'm totally unavailable.
    => There's no effect on the internet connection. Whatsapp messenger is woking fine. Only SMS and phone calls doesn't work.
    My Service-Provider: Telekom D1 (no issues here. Friends with the same SP do not have this problem)
    My Phone: Xperia Z1 (C6903)
    Android: 4.4.2
    Build-No.: 14.3.A.0.757

    In other forums people say that there might be a problem with the LTE connection or more specifically the switch from LTE to 3G!?
    Also I had the issue that I called the person back (after he/she told me via whatsapp that I'm not available) and suddenly the connection broke.

    I purchased my Iphone 5 last November 2012 by Cosmote Greek network provider.
    I am using an iphone 3GS as well and I can compare the strength of the signal reception all time.
    Usually the 3GS has 3 signal bars more than the Iphone 5 which many times goes with no signal. The LTE is turned off as well any suggestions?

    If your iPhone's battery is acting up you need to determine if it's a software issue or a hardware/battery issue.  To do that, after syncing your iPhone, erase/hard reset all data and settings from your iPhone to what it was from the factory as new.  This can be found in Settings/General/Reset/Erase All Content and Settings.  Then test it out for a day or two.  If it's still acting up then it's likely a hardware issue and you will need to get your battery replaced.  If your warranty is done than check out this link to get a battery kit to replace your iPhone battery yourself:  http://www.ifixit.com/Store/iPhone/iPhone-5-Replacement-Battery/IF118-001#produc tDescription
    If your iPhone is now working properly after hard resetting it than it's most likely a software issue.  This battery issue only started after upgrading to the new iOs7, so it is obviously related to the update not properly installing itself.  What has worked for me and many others is to manually update to iOS 7.0.4 using the full downloaded version of the update which is about 1.32 Gigs.
    But first you need to find out what model of iPhone you have, click here to determine if it's GSM or CDMA: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3939?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US
    Then go here and scroll down to download the iOS 7.0.4 complete update for your device:  http://www.downloadios7.org/download-ios-7-0-4-ipsw-file.html
    Then scroll up on the download page and follow the instructions of updating your iPhone manually following the instructions below:  "IPSW with iTunes"
    And your done.
    Problem solved.
    I only posted this because it was a very frustrating problem that no one really seemed to figure out a solution for.

    I am not understanding the LTE band conundrum. I would like to buy the only unlocked iPhone available in the US from Apple A1533 GSM which supports LTE bands 1,2,3,4,5,8,13,17,19,20,25. Outside of the US I will use it on the Italy Tre network. The iPhone for the Italian market is the A1457 which supports LTE bands 1,2,3,5,7,8,20.
    I've read through many posts about purchasing an iphone in the US for use overseas and many replies say it won't work on LTE. How is that possible if only one shared band isn't supported?

  • JetPack 4G LTE connects but "no internet access" message

    Would appreciate any help.
    My JetPack 4G LTE mi-fi connects to the internet (3G or 4G) and shows that my devices are connected to it.  However, I cannot get on the internet.
    1)  I have three different devices - two laptops and a smartphone.  All three have the same problem.
    2)  I have a Sprint Mi-Fi that I use for a different business.  All three devices can and do connect to that device and work properly on the internet during the same sessions in which they cannot connect on the Verizon JetPack.  So it is not the devices I am trying to connect with.
    3)  The exact same thing has happened several times over the course of about 4 days and in two cities and two states - all three devices unable to connect via JetPack but connect fine through Sprint Mi-Fi.  So it is not location or local network issue.
    4)  LED display on JetPack, in all instances, show a strong 3G or 4G (depending on where I am) signal and also that all three devices are connected.
    5)  Message on laptop wireless area shows connection but says "no internet access".
    6)  Under the wireless status or details, it says (on the list of info):  "IPv4  no internet access" and "IPv6 no internet access".
    7)  I have done a battery pull with no effect.
    8)  I have done a factory reset (power up, remove cover, press reset button until long green light and short green light) with no effect.
    9)  After both battery pull and factory reset, I still show connected to 3G, all three devices connected, no internet access, and all three devices then work on the Sprint mi-fi.
    10)  Symptoms started about 4 days ago and have not changed since - it is not a come-and-go problem.  It is not working at any time.
    I am hoping to gosh to avoid a long ordeal with tech-support at Verizon.  This is a company-issued device, so I could ask my company to take it up with Verizon, but I work remotely and access to the IT department is not that simple either.  thought I would see if I am missing something simple.  I hope I've given enough info for someone brighter than myself here can spot something I could do.

    The back of the Jetpack says SSID: "MiFI4620L Jetpack 89B4".   I am currently using the device (since the problems began last week) in zip codes 49504 and 49503 - same symptom both places.

  • Cannot send email on LTE with IPhone 6  and IOS 8.1

    Since I got my iPhone 6+ and upgraded the operating system to IOS 8.2, I have been unable to send email unless I am on WIFI. If I am on AT&T LTE 4G, when I hit the "SEND" button, I get this pop-up box: "Unable to Send Email / A copy has been placed in your Outbox. The sender address (my email address) was rejected by the server."
    As soon as I get to a WIFI connection, the mail goes right out, no problem. I have tried everything I can figure out, up to resetting my network settings, but nothing changes. The email address I use as my recipient address is the same one I use all the time and have used for years. Never had this problem before getting the new iPhone and upgrading the OS. (But not sure exactly at what point the LTE sending stopped working.) Any clues?

    I would check with your email provider. It sounds as if the SMTP server needs a different port to use or needs to have SSL turned on. Many email providers will not allow you to send mail when not on their physical network unless there is a way to verify who you are. SSL does that, but needs additional information, like your username or password. Go into the mail account and look at the settings for your SMTP server. See if SSL is on or off, and make sure that you have entered your username and password in all locations, even where it says optional.
