HT4108 My problem: I bought an ipad mini and just an adaptor to convert the new input into the old one (30 pins), to keep using my old accessories: vga adaptor, hdmi adaptor, camera and micro sd adaptor. It didn't work!

Is this so or is there any way to make it display my keynote over the projector. QUESTION IS: I ASKED THE SAILSMAN AT THE APPLE STORE IN MUNIQUE - ROSENSTRASSE, AND HE MADE ME BUY ONLY THE CONVERTER INSTEAD OF BUYING THE WHOLE SET OF ADAPTERS AGAIN, AND I DID SO! WHOS'S TO BLAME????????????? I USED THE MY FORMER IPAD - AN IPAD 2 - FOR THE LAST 2 YEARS FLAWLESSLY AND NOW, WITH A NEW PIECE, NOTHING WORKS!!!!!!!!

So I picked a miniDP to DVI adapter from the Apple store...
Yeah, only the DVI-Dual Link or proper MDP cable stands a chance at that rez...

Hi, I see I haven't had any responses but these problems haven't been fixed.
I still haven't been able to transfer purchases from my phone to my comp so consequently have stopped purchasing on my phone.
I bought a couple of albums recently via itunes on my comp, and tried to tranfer them to my phone via a playlist, but the sync often crashes. One album transferred except for one song, and the other hasn't at all. What happens is that when I autofill from a playlist it often hangs for ages on the first song and then I have to quit the application altogether as nothing happens for ages. Basically, the whole Itunes software freezes.
After this I find it hasn't transferred any songs, but they do appear greyed out on my phone, which means it has transferred some basic data such as the titles, but not the song itself. When I try to repeat the process to complete the transfer Itunes tells me that it can't transfer because the songs are already on the phone, but they are not!! I can't click or remove on the greyed out items, so now I have a couple of almost full albums on my computer that I can't tranfer or install on my phone, and a whole bunch of greyed out songs on my phone that I can't play or remove!
The rest of the problems as above still stand. I downloaded the latest itunes OS updates but nothing's changed. I haven't done the very latest iphone update yet though because it says you need to make sure your stuff is backed up, and I don't want to lose the purchases I made on the phone that I can't transfer to my comp. I'm planning on uninstalling itunes completely and reinstalling but I have little faith that this will fix the issue.
Can someone please help at all?? I'm so sick of this!

It only gives me the option of signing in and when I do that I get an error message telling me that either my user name or password for my email is incorrect; even though I have been using my correct my apple ID in the password entry area. My apple ID works for every thing else. Please, can you help in this case?

That is Activation Lock.

This error: I have just bought an iPad mini and to transfer my contacts, music etc via iTunes on my PC, the PC crashes should not occur.
The best guess is this crash is caused due to an issue with the PC.
Make sure your iPad is updated to the latest operating system: iOS 7.0.4 and make sure iTunes is updated to iTunes 11.
iTunes 11 is optimised for iOS 7, so if you have an iOS 7 device and non iTunes 11 computer, life would be hard.
Try to update iTunes to 11.1.3 from: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Even try uninstalling iTunes and then re-installing. iTunes will not lose any of your iTunes songs when your un-install it as iTunes stores every media item in a folder found in (or around): C:\Users\NAME\Music\iTunes
Obviously iTunes and iDevices work best using Mac iTunes however; iTunes 11 and iOS 7 iPad Mini should work fine.
In summary possible solutions:
1.       Update iPad Mini to iOS 7 or better (iOS 7.0.4)
2.       Update iTunes to iTunes 11.1.3
3.       Restart both PC and iPad
4.       Uninstall iTunes from PC

You should ask your relative to physically take the iPhone to the store rather than shipping it because as diesel vdub has said:
"No Apple store will accept an iPhone shipped to them"
All you have to do is safely pack and ship your iPhone from the Philppines to your California-based relative.

I agree. Or if you have a computer, connect your computer to the hotel's wifi, which will allow you to agree to the terms and conditions page, then use the computer to activate your iPad.
There are often issues with iDevices showing that you're connected to public wifi, but unless you can get the terms and conditions page to load so you can agree your connection is a dead end. You're connected but not allowed to do anything.
