I have tried to access the itunes store by many different means. I know I have account balance as I put in 2 gift cards back in March and have not used them all. I recently installed and uninstalled itunes several times but I still cannot open it on my computer. When plugging in my ipod shuffle it does not automatically load either although my computer says it's working correctly.
Click on the "Start" button. Click "Run." Type the word "cmd" in the open box. When the DOS screen comes up, type "netsh winsock reset." Press "Enter." Type "exit" to close the DOS window and go back to Windows.

Do you get a verification email after signing up in Itunes Store?
So I'm transferring my pictures from my andriod to my new iphone 4g, and the person is currently working on it.
I recieved a call from him saying that I had to enter my mom's credit card to hook up with itunes. We entered it and he said that i would get a verification email so that i could verify it.
The only email i got, however, was just a "Welcome to the Itunes Store.." kinda thing. Nothing about verifiying. When we signed up the credit card, they didn't give us a notice that a verification email would be sent.
But what is this guy talking about a verification email?
And also, apparently I have way to many photos for the 8gb iphone. I only have 200 photos, 10 songs, and about 6-7 really short videos.
My friend has over 3,000 photos and over 300 songs and she has an 8gb. What's wrong with this too?!?
thanksIt has been ages since I bought anything from the Apple online Store but the every time I did buy something - which includes several iMacs and a white MacBook, I always got a receipt. I think you should have received the receipt via email as soon as your credit card was charged for the purchase.
If I am misinformed about the delivery method of the receipt, someone will certainly correct me, but nonetheless, you should have gotten a receipt of some type. If you received an email confirmation of your purchase back in February, that may be all you need as your receipt for the iPads.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.

Hi Kylegundrum,
Try resetting your device (nothing will be lost): Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Silver Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the Home screen redisplays, see if your issue is resolved.

Has anyone had problems sending emails using via (Road Runner) POP account?
I cannot send any emails w/ the iPhone via Road Runner POP account.... I have tried everything. From Calling Time Warner to have my Password reset just incase I'm using the incorrect password, which in fact the settings menu for mail says the password for outgoing emails are optional.. I keep getting a message saying "my email was rejected by the server" Is anyone having this problem and if so please suggest any solutions.......
Does anyone know how to set my mail app on my home computer to only forward the messages I want to my iPhone while moving all other junk emails to my Junk folder on my computer????Last I checked you could not access RoadRunner outgoing mail servers from outside of the RoadRunner network (i.e., the AT&T EDGE network). You can use cwmx.com as your outgoing mail server, with no ID or password, and that will work while you are on EDGE (but now when you are on WiFi).
As for junk mail, that is the scourge of the internet. Many people have many solutions - I can share with you mine. I had all my email forwarded to a free GMail account. GMail has amazingly efficient SPAM filters, and it has cut down my spam 99%. You can configure your account on the iPhone using the "Other" shortuct in such a way that emails seem to come from your Roadrunner account. The added bonus is that the GMail outgoing server works on both EDGE and WiFi, so you dont have to worry about where you are at. -
I'm not receiving the verification email to activate two additional gmail addresses for Facetime on my ipad air. I have been trying for over a week and the emails are not in my spam or junk folders. I have also logged into my Apple id from my Mac and tried to verify from there but I'm still not receiving the verification emails. Anyone know how to resolve this please?
In Mail Preferences/Accounts/each GMail account, set up the SMTP Outgoing Server for each account separately, going into SMTP name/edit/Advanced and specify the Username of each account. The Outgoing servers must be two different servers, authenticated by the Username and Password of each.
Otherwise, the GMail SMTP server will change the from address to that of the account where the SMTP server was setup.

If None is not available - On your computer launch iTunes and click "iTunes Store" in the left navigation pane. Check your Mail rules and filtering, the verification mail may be going to a junk folder or even being deleted altogether. -
I can no longer send emails from my mac yahoo business account, but can send them directly from yahoo. just not from mac mail. I've been able to send emails perfectly fine until today. I've been on the phone with yahoo mail and they've verified that my account settings are correct and I can send email from yahoo. I can receive emails via Mac mail, but just can't send them. An error message appears that says:
"Sending the message content to the server failed." I can't send emails from my Mac desktop, iphone or ipad. Any suggestions! Help! I'm a Mac rookie and so frustrated! Thanks.Please read and begin using Can receive email, but not send email. I had a similar issue with Comcast mail (could receive by not send) and found my answer in this letter. For me it took resetting the outgoing mail and telling the system to use a password when sending outgoing mail. If you need help with that please advise and I'll tell you where to look.

I can no longer use my iPad 3 since downloading IOS 7. I can't access the internet, the app store, or itunes. Can't download anything or receive or send emails. Not happy. My iPad is basically useless. Tried to erase and restore. can't even do that. whish I had waited.

On my iPad, I was receiving iMessages and had the history of all message that were on my iPhone showing up but I just did a restore and I'm not receiving them. I can send, though. Any ideas?
is there any important stuff saved to your emails? if so you could log on to your emails from a seperate device and back them up. im not sure what else you could do :/

I am the owner of my iPhone 4 and it had not been updating and allowing me to download apps. So I decided to do factory setting, before doing so I had backed up my phone on my computer then I had erased everything from my iphone. But now I want to start everything from the beginning, and on my setting my Apple ID is present however when I put my password in it doesn't let me log in. The message that I receive says that I would have to remove my Apple ID as it will not let me log in with that I'd even though I am the original owner, I have tried everything on find my iPhone as well, even there my Apple ID not showing on the devise.
If anyone has had a similar experience could you please advise me on what to do,
ThanksYou must have the credentials that were used to turn on Find my iPhone on the device. Without them, you can not get past the activation lock.

So my phone is messed up and you can't do anything with the screen...in order for me to sink it to back up i have to enter the passcode because it had a lock on it...and i can't due to it being messed up...is there any way around this...
