It seems that every time I start up the IPad the banner over ITunes shows 8 or more in the banner. I have completly signed off of the ipad and it still comes up. Any suggestions? It seems to have coincided with IOS 7 being released, I have not downloaded IOS 7 to my IPad or my Iphone at this time.

I"m not sure exactly what to do because once I got mine sorted out I can't exactly replicate it to test it, but it's like somehow your ID gets messed up.
I tried to download an app, then Apple thought that I'd never bought anything from my device so went through the whole 'give your secret questions' thing and ended up having to call apple to get them to reset.
Long story short, the inability to update has something to do with the App Store not recognizing your device, even though part of it does recognize your device (which is why you get the little badges)
You could try downloading a free app and see if you can verify your ID. Or you can poke around in here

and see if you can manage your account and see if that helps.

Yet another example of why it's a VERY BAD IDEA to do a clean install of Lion unless you are already VERY familiar with how to tweak the Mac OS. There's a reason Apple engineers removed it as an option. To accomplish it you have to erase your disk; not for the faint hearted.
Do you have a backup? PLEASE don't tell us you did this without a robust backup.
You erased the operating machine, so your computer went to the only place it could find one, the Recovery partition. And it's minimal, so it has to download everything in small chunks to reinstall itself. So yeah, it could take 10 hours.
Here's another option. Do you still have the original disks that came with your machine? Put one in and restart from it. You can reinstall your old system much faster. Then go to the Mac App Store and your purchase history and see if you can redownload Lion (I think that still works).
And this time just do yourself a favor and install per Apple's instructions. When the machine starts into Lion, use Setup ***'t (the first thing that fires up) to migrate from your backup.

Have you synced back up to your iTunes account? This happened to me too, and when I synced back up with iTunes, all of my photos were backed up to my iTunes account and loaded back onto my iPhone.

Copy your ENTIRE iTunes FOLDER to an External Drive... and then from the External Drive to your New Computer..

Iphone 6 tells me that "Item not available" in my country UK, when i click on the itunes store icon for the app to open the music, movies or tv shows section of the app. is this a bug?

I am based in the UK and have just got a new iphone 6, everything works well except when i try to turn on the itunes store app - i can do a search and buy music etc that way, within the app, however, if i go to Music, Movies or the TV shows section within the Store app, i get a message come up saying "Item Not Available" - This item you've requested is not currently available in the UK Store, but it is available in the US store. Tap Change Store to view this item". I therefore cannot browse the music, movies or tv shows sections at all, nothing shows up except that message. On the very bottom right of the iTunes store page you should see a small circular icon with a flag. Click that and you should see a page which allows you to select the respective country store your looking for.

From your description, I understand that your webmail provider used to display 25 emails per page, but now it is showing all the emails in a continuous form, where you can scroll down the page.
It appears that your webmail provider is Yahoo!, is this correct?
Yahoo! recently redesigned their webmail, and it is the only version available to users, so there is not much that can be done. Please understand that this is not a browser related issue, so Firefox is not at fault.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
See [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] and [[Troubleshooting plugins]]
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the ''Safe mode'' start window.
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (on Mac: "Firefox > Quit")

Your original post wasn't clear as to what the problem was - did/does 'disable' mean that none of the apps on your iPad now work, that all the apps were deleted from the iPad, or something else ?
A number of people have reported that (usually after an iOS upgrade) none of their downloaded apps then worked on the iPad - tapping on the icons would just open the app for a fraction of a second and then you'd be returned back to the homescreen. That problem was usually fixed by going into the App Store app on the iPad and downloading any new free app, as that appeared to reset/fix something on the iPad, and the apps would then start working again. If this isn't the problem that you were having then obviously you don't need to do this.
