Hi all,
For a Badi y_essmss_wagetype_03 i have created a filter named y_emp_wagetype.. When i am using this filter in the back-end services and try to see the services fields for this filter it is throwing the error..

Dropdown values are missing while using the function module KCD_EXCEL_OLE_TO_INT_CONVERT
Hi all,
when i am trying to upload the excel template by using the function module " KCD_EXCEL_OLE_TO_INT_CONVERT" to an internal table some field values are missing.
i am using the function module " KCD_EXCEL_OLE_TO_INT_CONVERT" and i am uploading an excel template and downloading that excel data into an internal table but some field values are missing while uploading the excel template and i found that the field which contains the drop down list values those values are missing.
And also when i am uploading the excel template by using the function module" KCD_EXCEL_OLE_TO_INT_CONVERT" when i am coming out of this function module one pop up is coming. how can i avoid this popup, can any one please provide me the solution thanks in advance.

Heres the setup: I have an IOS 7 iPad 2 that I want to use 3G only for web searches/ emails while using an Airport Express generated wifi bubble (without any connected internett) to print web seraches via airprint to a wifi printer.
The problem: the ipad deafults to searching via the AE's wifi and vainly waits for the non existent interent to connect. It ignores the available 3G internet.
The workaround: a) turn off the AE's wifi, search the web via 3G b) once I have something to print, turn the wifi back on and print via airprint and the AE's wifi to the printer.
The question: Is there a way to turn off the AE's internet access. Using Airport utility, I have tried setting Bridge mode and static IPs to no avail. There is no turn-the-internet-off tick box.
In the ideal setup I would like the ipad 2 to search the web via 3G only (straight away versus waiting vainly for the AE to find it!!) and then print the results via the AE's wifi and airprint without having to toggle wifi on and off all the time.....

How to set DISPLAY for tomcat service inorder to run reports using rwrun.sh
Here is my problem..
I came to know that its not possible to invoke rwrun.sh without setting the DISPLAY environment variable from the servlet or any java program. But some one proposed me a solution that to set the DISPLAY variable for TOMCAT service from where my servlet invokes the shell script written for report generation using rwrun.sh. The user for tomcat service is wwwrun ..
Do i need to set this variable in the logon script for this user ..but I couldn't find the .profile file for that.
Is there any way to set this variable for tomcat service and get the report successfully.i gave export DISPLAY=aatsv001.local:0.0 in $ORACLE_HOME/bin/reports.sh
but it gives me the following error when i invoke the report
Xlib: connection to "aatsv001.local:0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified
REP-0069: Internal error
REP-3000: Internal error starting Oracle Toolkit.
I also tried giving localhost and also aatsv001 (without .local)

Item Missing while using Collator
Dear Experts
I am writng code using KM API to get the list of files in a given folder, when I use
IResourceList resourceList=parent.getChildren();
the size of resource list is 23
I need to sort the list according the coustom property of the file hence I ended up with using Collator object as following
IPropertyName propName=new PropertyName("http://sapportals.com/xmlns/cm/cp","QP_CP_Published_Date");

collator.addCriteria(propName,false);

Note the QP_CP_Published_Date is of type date
Now the size of resource list is 18
Please help me in getting the file list in sorted order with out loosing the items

Note In this situation, the Code 10 error can be a very generic message that indicates some kind of unspecified driver or device problem.

In SPRO, I defined one customized generic service, but i cant able to implement the generic service to BADI. Moreover it's asking for Composite Badi Implementation name.

I am developing generic service to populate some fields in HCM Processes and Forms. Please let me know whether i need to develop a single service for each field in the form or is better to write one generic service for all the form fields.

By right, generic service means to be generic so that it can be re-used in any HCM forms thats needed the field/validation from the generic service.
Unfortunately in real situation, generic service are not reusable for some reasons:
- for the same field same field might have different validation in different form.
- there is dependency, example, to read special field
The key thing here is all about the design and planing before development. Whereby if you have all the info and requirement HCM form to be implemented(which you wont get it for most of the cases), and you have the overall view of all HCM to be implemented and you are able to plan ahead before coding, then you can design the generic service for each/related field.
If it is not the case, i would encourage to use 1 generic service for all the field in the HCM form. It would ease the team during support/maintenance phrase as well. For sample, please refer to HRMSSRCF_REQUISITION_ADVANCED for Create Requisition form.
This is my humble opinion based on my experience working on HCM forms. Please do comments and discuss.

You can do the Subcontracting scenraio for this service orders.
So while sending the spare parts to vendor create the Subcontracting PO with item category L
Send the parts in 541 mvt type to vendor.
In MBLB you will get the report with respect to vendor how many parts you have sent to the vendor with value if you maintained for that part in the material master.

If u are using itegrated ITS then mention the below parameter in ITS of ur portal system.
