In App purchases - need a refund

Hi, Two in-app purchases were made on my ipad unwillingly (2 x $6.49). I need these to be refunded - they are both still pending.  Thank you in advance !

You can try the 'report a problem' link to contact iTunes Support and see if they will refund or credit you : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work then you can try contacting iTunes Support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

  • HT4009 unable to make in-app purchases need help

Trying to make a purchase in Clash of Clans. Had been able to now it has been a week and I am unable to.

I have wasted so much money on gems, but I want to waste a little more and can't.  This just started for me a couple of days ago. Please post solutions if you have them.  Also,  as to having In-App purchases turned off - if it is off, gems won't even show up in the shop on the game.  Only gold and elixir.  I know this because I turned it off to curb my gem addiction for a while.  BUT I STILL WANT MORE GEMS!  Has anyone heard back from iTunes Support on this? I haven't

  • App Purchased; Misleading Advertising; Refund Route?

I purchased an app titled "Camera Pro For Ipad2" under the impression that the app would provide software to improve the photos taken with my Ipad2. After downloading the app, it turns out that all the app does is provide 10 tips for taking better photos! I paid $5.99 plus tax for this thing and immediately determined that I wanted my money back.
I contacted the develper (chiyouapps.com) twice by email to ask for a refund. I have gotten no response from them. Itunes, of course, is no help with this type of situation.
Does anyone know a route to take to facilitate a refund?
This type of thing is going to have a detrimental effect on the App Store business and I shared that sentiment with Apple but, again, no response from them either. They need to be evaluating the apps that are provided and assure that the item matches the description provided by the developer. If issues are found, that developer's apps should not be made available in the App Store. Just my 2-cents on that....
    Thanks.

I am the one that gave the app that "one star rating" since, at the time of purchase, there were too few (none?) reviews submitted to provide a rating. Hopefully, no other Ipad users will waste their money on the product. Looking at the other apps provided by the developer (chiyouapps.com) the reviews are similar....their apps are junk but, as far as I can see, there is no way to hone in on one particular developer to get a sense of their product quality.
So, yes, I paid close attention to the rating....there wasn't one.
And yes, I contacted the support folks at itunes and have gotten no response. Developers and their products need to be reviewed by itunes to validate the quality and validity of the available products. The terms of service provide itunes with protection but it's not good business or customer service.

  • HT4009 in-app purchases made unknowingly, can purchase be refunded?

Can in-app purchases made be refunded, if the person did not know they were purchasing them?

My son didn't realize he was buying something, he thought he was spending his git cards...there is no history of any purchases prior to this starting....

  • The first in-app purchase to app as "ready to sale"

    Hi,
I have one app ready to sale (viewer type multi-issue) and now I did create the in-app purchase to upload a folio as retail issue within it.
I read in Itunes connect guide that the first time I upload the in-app-purchase need to be together the new version of app.
Then, I create the new branded app - viewer type: Multi-issue (not multi-issue with subscription) - and I did the sand box test with ipa. All works well.
But when I try upload the new version app I get this  from application Loader. Please, see the image attached
Please, Could one tell me more about these steps. Is possible start a in-app-purchase to a app as "ready to sale"?
    Thanks a lot

    Hi Felipe,
If I'm understanding correctly, you are trying to get a retail issue approved for an app that is already "Ready for Sale," right?
If so, you should be able to create an in-app purchase, test it on your developer build, and submit it to Apple without updating your app.  The language you are referring to from Apple is intended for those that are sending their app in for the first time.  It is not uncommon to include an in-app purchase at that time, too.
    Hope that helps!
    Steven

  • In app purchase refund made by child?

My six year old son today made an in app purchase of £69.99. Does anyone know if I can or how to ask for a refund? Didn't know he knew my password!

All purchases are considered final, but you can try contacting iTunes support and explain what happened and see if they will refund or credit you :http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
To try and stop it happening again, you should be able to turn off in-app purchases via Settings > General > Restrictions > In-App Purchases 'off', and (depending upon what iOS version that you have on your iPad) you might also be able to set 'Require Password' to 'Immediately' on the Restrictions (the default is a 15 minute period during which it doesn't need to be re-entered)

  • App purchased accidentally. Who do I contact to get a refund

My ten year old daughter who had a learning disability had a snow day yesterday and decided it was ok to use my iPad.  She downloaded an app that said free in the title but it was actually $ 99.99. I was wondering if there was anyway to get a refund on it.

The app may have been free to download, but quite a few then allow in-app purchases to be made within them e.g to unlock features and/or levels. You can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
You can also turn off in-app purchases on your iPad via Settings > General > Restrictions > In-App Purchases 'off', and depdending upon what version of iOS that you have on it you may also have a Require Password setting onthe Restrictions screen which you can set to 'Immediately' (the default is a 15 minute period during which it doesn't need to be re-entered).

  • Trying to 'report a problem' in iTunes to refund a £69.99 in-app purchase by my younger brother. NOT WORKING!

My younger brother accidently purchased an in-app item worth £69.99. I desperately need to refund this as it will be removed from my bank and I need the money to stay.
When in iTunes I check my purchase history and try to 'report a problem' it simply opens the apple support site and does nothing! I've tried calling Apple but the stupid Auto-bot didn't understand what I'm trying to do and then expected me to stay on the line for up to 10 minutes to get in touch! Not a chance. I'm incredibly dissapointed. What can i do?
    Thanks.
