Hi muthu
First include quality view in material master. There assign inspection type 04. Inspection during GR. Then activate this.
Then in QA 32 assign inspection characterstics with UD code and set release to this.
Once you do GR for production in MB 31 goods will be automatically posted to inspection stock.
Then double click on that in MD 04 screen and do UD with good quantity and scrap qty with correct storage location.
after savings this goods will be automatically posted to unrestricted stock.

hi,
as mentioned in the previous post, u need to use ItemListener, and not ActionListener.
add item listener to your component.

this would fire whenever the user checks the button, and if the button's state is checked (not un-checked), then ur function gets called.

We are using inspection lot origin 06 for customer returns. However 06 doesn't allow you to post stock. The quality team wants to post the stock to unrestricted or scrap or blocked as per the inspection result. If we use inspection lot origin 05 then we are able to post stock for the inspection lot generated while transferring the stock form returns to quality. Now the problem is for prodn GR that is for FG we r using 05 for the same material. So there is a clash as inspection characteristics for FG and customer return is different but usage is becoming same-5. That's we are trying to create a new movement type 957 by copying 457 but we are unable to create and assign inspection lot origin to it.

You can create an Organization payment method of any Payment type(Cash, Check, BACS, NACHA etc) under the same country.
All these will be valid payment methods on the payroll description form.
And you can even attach these to a person.
In which case you will have a Base currency (say USD) and payment currency (say GBP).
These cases are not normal and only used by people who use a single BG for paying employees in 3-4 countries.
So, unless you need to pay in different currencies, do not use it.

As per SAP std You can not create a Inpsection lot origine but you can certainly create a Inspection type.
Just a suggesion..
Try Inspection lot origin: 89 (Misc) NoRange: 90 DCr :001 ,TL Type : S and Stat : 4
and create Inspection type 90 with varient 01/02 in inspection lot origine 01.
This will solve your purpose

How to assign Inspection characteristic to the Phases in Process order

Hi PP/QM experts,
There is business requirement to assign Master Inspection
Characteristics to the Phases in the process order. But there is no
functionality to assign MIC's in process order. So this is stopping me to map the scenario for Rework execution.
Requirement is results recording is required for additional added phases (Phases added to the process order to perform Rework) in the process order.
Expecting to provide a possitive solution to resolve this issue.

there may be one solution that if you maintained separate master recipe for rework and maintained inspection characteristics there.and while creating rework order assign that master recipe. that would help you to result record.
and one more solution is that you have to maintained inspection characteristics for your rework phase in the master recipe.

QM-Assign inspection plan to a variant of material (classification view)

Inspection plans are commonly assigned to materials.
In my case, I would like to manage, in <b>Classification view</b> (MM01), a new characteristics named "Variant" that could have 2 or more values, depending on which variant I order to my supplier.
<b>But is it possible to assign an inspection plan at this sub-level ?</b> In QP01 the only possibility I see is assigning a material to the inspection plan. Can I customize something, or does it exist a trip to manager another level of assignment ?

Now I understood your requirement. But I would like to know the exact purpose of this requirement so that I can try to give you correct solution.
I will consider your example:
Material : 123
Classification: Inspection
Characteristics 1: Variant 1 for Inspection 1
Characteristics 2: Variant 2 for Inspection 2
Selection of inspection plan takes place during the creation of inspection lot. So now you have to link this material/classifcation/inspection plan combination at the time of inspection lot creation. I doubt whether this can be done using one user exit.
The user exits are
EXIT_SAPLCZCL_001
EXIT_SAPLCZDI_001
EXIT_SAPLCZDI_002
Please let me know whether it helps.

Runtime error at maintain insp lot origins and assign inspection types

Hi all,
When i want to assign a new inspection type to lot origin 05 i get a runtime error. I don't know what's happening, but i think that it is caused because the system cannot find a record. When i look in TQ31 and TQ33 i see a line with lot origin 05. In table TQ32 there is no line.
I can still maintain all other inspection lot origins. I removed the inspection type from 05 and want to add another one, but it's not possible anymore because of the error...
Does anybody have an idea?

It sounds like you deleted the 05 insepction type that SAP delivers and had linked to origin 05
You shouldn't do that.
SAP is very picky about having the 01 variant assigned. You have deleted the 01 variant.
You can try to create it back maybe. If it fails, my guess is you'll have to have the basis team regenerate the TQ32 table from the 000 client. Then you'll have to redo any entries you need, like any custom inspection types.

Need help on an assignment using methods.

The assignment I'm working on uses methods to input an integer and a character and then output a hollow square of the size of the integer and made up of the character entered. This is what I have so far, I'm not quite sure how to fill in the methods....

I assume you're replying to me(?). Did you compile and run my example? What is it you don't understand about it? I see your methods are all static so you could do something like this:

now i want to set the method that called after a dropDown value changed to another claas method.
for example if my page name is

One approach will be to make your class a ivar of PageBean or SessionBean. That way you instantiate your class either in PageBean/SessionBean and PageBean or SessionBean as a parameter depending on the scope requirements of your class.
Other approach which is eaiser would be to use the JSF API
ValueBinding vb = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getApplication().
createValueBinding("#{SessionBean1});
SessionBean1 bean1 = vb.getValue(FacesContext.getCurrentInstance());
The above code can be used anywhere within a JSF application to retrieve an object from any scope as long as the request has passed through the FacesServlet.
No, you can't pass parameters to processValueChange.

quality certificate in material master when quality in procurement of some vendor u required, it is used when u want that vendor may provide the certificates of its gud services and material against ur Purchase.
Quality info used when u want a vendor material inspection either at his location or before final procurement delivery date, for this u need to maintain QI01, with vendor material and plant commbination , materila master setting in QM view, 01/0101 along with preferred active and active indicators.
DMR used when u want a consistent quality acceptance and rejection level. when u want that after first quality check ur lots may not required any quality if case is acceptance one .in std it is called as Skipping.
sampling schemes/ Sampling procedure/ inspection method and Spec are the necessary masters data used in Quality plan and for sample calculation.
i will suggest u to go through the SPRO -Quality management- and each and every node in detail.

i have created MIC with out assign inspection method .. now i will assign to inspection method in MIC ..We can do throgh change MIC ..but thousands of MIC are there like .. i want to up load through Mass process.. is there any standard procedure..please could any one gude me in this issue.

It is right that there is no standard method to mass-assign inspection method for MICs.
The most effective way is by using LSMW like other contributors suggest. Actually the procedure is quite simple, you just have to prepare the excel template (my favourite) and use is as the data source for the mass-assign process. The rest process is similar to every LSMW batch input process.

Agentry Work Manager 6.0: BADI to enhance assignment type

I have the requirement to more or less combine the work order assignment types 1 and 2. I have to fetch the operations based on its assigned personal number, but at the same time I have to fetch a work order and all the operations if the Agentry user is the work order header responsible.
Unfortunately this is a single value parameter so I set the assignment type to 2. Now I thought it would be really easy to fetch the work orders based on the assignment type 1 since there is a BADI available after each assignment call method:

So inside the BADI gref_badi_wo->get_assignment_type2, I wanted to call the me->get_assignment1 method, and then join the 2 internal tables values.
But the problem is once the BADI is called it is not possible to call this method since we only have the OREF_MDO_DATA object which has the original class as a inaccessible private attribute. I could try to copy and adapt the me->get_assignment1 code but there are some attributes that are not accessible inside the BADI. Do you see a simple and elegant solution to this requirement?
I would like to avoid creating a new Z handler class inheriting from the standard one...

I just wanted to close this old thread since what I did long ago to solve the issue is to replicate the me->get_assignment1 inside the me->get_assignment2 BADI method code. It is not just a copy paste since from the BADI you don't have access to some MDO handler private data.
But it is possible to replicate all the fetch process except when doing a delta with exchange since I couldn't easily get the necessary data from the main MDO. But even if you get all the work orders ID's, after the BADI the standard code checks the exchange table again and rules out the unnecessary WO ID's.

Admin Context - Do i need to assign interfaces for Mgmt?

I am building out 2 virtual firewalls using contexts in an active/active F/O pair, and would like to know if it is necessary to assign at least one interface to the admin context?
My other contexts will have outside, inside, DMZ and stateful F/O interfaces. And i plan on administering these contexts by SSH to the inside of one of the active Firewall contexts.
Also from what i am reading i see the system/admin context does AAA, Syslog, F/O config, interface allocations, etc. So, in the Firewalls I assume i dont need to configure AAA, syslog, etc. Is this a correct statement?

We do not assign interfaces to admin context but to do assign interfaces to other context from admin. So innitially you get only admin context from where you allocate interface/resources to other contexts.
