Inconsistent Filter in Integrated Planning - After Transport

Hello All,
After transporting all the relevant objects for IP...Aggregation Level, Filters, Planning Functions etc...from Dev to QA System. In the QA system when i check the fiter for consistency. I am getting an error "Variable 4EMAK1IX593GLMYGHHXIZCV8B not in query".
As such all the objects are transported properly. only issue is in the Filters.
Anybody faced any such error, please help.
Thanks and Regards,
Vikram

Hello,
Issue resolved....i searched for the  4EMAK1IX593GLMYGHHXIZCV8B in the table RSZGLOBV -- BEx Variables.
collected it in a new transport and imported..
Issue resolved.
For your information.

  • Problem in Integration Directory after transport

    Guys,
we did a SLD transport (only LD objects), with DEV and PRD groups. It had some error messages because the SWCV's from the Dev XI were not created into PRD XI, but apparently, despite the errors, the products and SWCV's were created.
After that, we've done IR and ID objects transports, through File System.
Apparently, the IR part was OK.
In the ID, it correctly changed the Business Systems from Dev Configuration to their respective transport targets. However, if we try to open any Adapter, it gives an error message:
Attempt to access the 1 requested objects on 1 failed. Detailed information:  com.sap.aii.ib.core.roa.RoaObjectAccessException: Unable to read object Adapter Metadata SOAP | http://sap.com/xi/XI/System (b38bcd00-e471-11d7-afac-de420a1145a5) of type AdapterMetaData from application REPOSITORY on system REPOSITORY. Detailed information: Software component version with GUID b38bcd00-e471-11d7-afac-de420a1145a5 does not exist
And if we try to create a new Adapter, when we go to select adapter type (SOAP, File, RFC etc) it says
Search Result for All Component Versions
    No objects found!
So, we can't select any adapter type.
Has anyone had this error before?
What did we do wrong in the transport?
Was it the error from the SLD transport that caused this?
    Thanks in advance,
    Henrique.

    Hi Henrique,
Go and import the SAP BASIS 6.4 or 7.0 Software COmponent Version into Integration Repository.
For this tpz file you can get from -
    Copy XI3_0_SAP_BASIS_6.40_09_00.tpz from <Components DVD>/XI /XI_CONTENT to directory /usr/sap/<SAPSID>/SYS/global/xi/repository_server/import/

  • Transport Filters of Integrated Planning

    Dear Experts,
we have created a couple of filters with the planning modeler of integrated planning.
Now we would like to transport these to the P-System but there is no object type 'filters' in the transport connection in opposite to other objects like planning levels...
How could we arrange the transport of these filters ?

  • Planning layout can no longer be displayed after transport

    Hello everybody,
I have transported a planning area with all levels and so on.
I have several Manual Planning Layouts with key figures in data columns and rows defined individually.
I am using defined values of G/L Account characteristics in Lead column, each row is defined by a G/L Account number of a specific Chart of accounts predefined in the Header.
I load my G/L Account numbers with the same flat file in Development system and in Production system but after transport the layout cannot be displayed.
If I maintained G/L account characteristic in RSA1 on production system, I find all the account numbers for my Chart of accounts but if I try to define a value of G/L Account in my planning package, I do not find any values on my Chart of Account???
    Could you help me??

  • Assignment of filter to planning function in integrated planning

    Dear experts
I am a bit new in Integrated planning and have a following conceptual question regarding filter object in IP
In IP it seems that filter is a substitute object for planning package in BSP.
I however do not see any possibility to assign filter to a planning function except in a planning sequence. I would however imagine to have a functionality to dynamically select the filter when i want to execute a planning function via application (excel based or Web).
It seems that filter is not even required if a planning function is executed seperately (not as part of planning sequence).
I have tried to execute a simple copy function without having any filter at all and it works.
Could someone pls. explain me as to the conceptual difference between object filter and object planning package.

    Hi,
Filter is indeed used in IP similar to how planning package was used in BPS. There really is no difference 'conceptually'.
What you have seen is the different options IP offers compared to BPS regarding planning function execution. You can execute planning function directly or using a planning sequence in an application (although in planning modeler, its only a planning sequence that can be executed, for eg., for testing purpose).
If you just execute a planning function without specifying any restriction, it will operate on the entire set of planning data. Whether its a planning sequence or planning function, the data it operates on can be restricted by binding the various characteristics (or variables) using various DPs in the application. What kind of dynamic selection are you looking at?

  • Web Interface builder - Not displaying planning folder after transporting

I created an web-enabled planning folder and transported it to the quality system.
In the development system works perfectly (variables, layouts, links, user-exits, etc).
After transporting it to the quality system when I run this web planning folder the page doesn't load and displays with an empty white web page.

  • Problems with HowTo "Creation of BI Master Data in Integrated Planning...)

    Hi,
one of our customers need a planning application in which he can create master data for different attributes, insert some key figures for this attributes and changes already planned key figured.
For the last two point I've already found a working solution, the first point (creating of masterdata in web template) is still a problem. After a little search, I found a howto-guide "Creation of BI Master Data in Integrated Planning (IP) through Web Layouts", in which the necessary steps are described, how to do this (please see following link: http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/607193d5-cdd5-2b10-c699-8ff04c3124f6)
Does anyone of you know this guide and was able to build a working solution?
I have different questions, maybe you could help me:
    - what kind of variable is he using?
    - do I need a DataProvider in Web Template?
    - how do I get the connection to the used variable in the button group?
    Thanks for your help.
    Regards
    Tim

    Hi Timo,
you require two howtos to implement the solution.
First, please take a look at the first document:
    http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/10d2b273-0e12-2c10-fab3-a34bde559f92?QuickLink=index&…
In chapter 3 you see the prerequisites (note 1101726 and notes 1384495, 1387004 and 136772). By this, you change the system behaviour, not to check if the new inserted master data is valid (it can't be valid, because the entries are new!)
And after this please implement the solution from the how to.
Furthermore you can take a look at this how to, which might help you too:
    http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/607193d5-cdd5-2b10-c699-8ff04c3124f6?QuickLink=index&…
Even if my first post is a bit old, my customer still uses this solution, at the moment we are on 7.3 sp06, so it is working in newer releases too.
    Hope this helps.

    Tim

  • Problem to maintain the Comments in BW 7.3 Integrated Planning

    Dear All,
Can anybody please guide me to complete the " Flexible Comment Solution for BEx Applications."  As I am working on BW7.3 SP8
and was gone through the documents " How to Flexibly Change Characteristic Values and Comments in BI Integrated Planning" and "How To Build a Fast and Flexible Comment Solution for BEx Web Applications".
But unfortunately, I did'nt got any result from these two documents.
How To Build a Fast and Flexible Comment Solution for BEx Web Applications
How to Flexibly Change Characteristic Values and Comments in BI Integrated Planning
    Thanks in Advance,
    Krishna Chaitanya.

    Hi Suman,
The exact issue is after entering comments and it is stored in Buffer and unable to retrieve / displayed
in the layout.  This is what I am facing problem and tried with all the steps mentioned from the document How to Flexibly Change Characteristic Values and Comments in BI Integrated Planning.
Apart from the above, I tried with another document How To Build a Fast and Flexible Comment Solution for BEx Web Applications and here after entering the comment and want to save the comment in a particular row using REPOST function, stating the error that Characteristic comments has no master data for "test".   test is my comment.
    Hope you understood.

  • After transporting the TTF is not been used

    Hi all,
I have installed a true type font (se73). After the installation I use it on a smart form style and it is shown ok.
The problem is that after transporting it to integration, the forms are not using the one I installed but a standard instead.
Hints:  - all was on the same transport order and it has been transported ok.
               - everything is active
               - I have allready read the note 421518 and i have executed the report RSTXDELL

Are you checking by print preview only, or by printing?
Which device type is defined for your printer? (SPAD transaction, display the output device)
If the device type is a custom one (Y* or Z*), could you tell us what sapscript (OTF) driver it uses? (SPAD, double-click the device type).
The font conversion algorithm is based on the fonts allowed for each device type (they are called "printer fonts", and are maintained via SE73 transaction). You may verify which font conversion is done via SE73 transaction, choose "printer fonts", double-click the device type, and click the "font conversion" button.
To make sure, you may also see the converted font after the spool has been generated (the font conversion is applied before the spool is generated): display the spool in raw or hexadecimal view in SP01 transaction, the font lines are starting with FT characters followed by the converted printer font name.
Could you tell us what are the results of the font conversion in SE73 for your device type?

  • Alert rules not displaying correctly in the RWB after transporting to QA

    Hi Experts,
After transporting the alert rules from DEV to QA, the rules are not correctly displayed in the RWB in QA e.g. a star (*) is displayed in all the fields instead of the filter values which I have entered such as the "Sender Party"; "Sender Interface" etc. I am also not able to manually change the values in the RWB in QA anymore because the values are greyed out.
Strangely enough, the rules are correctly displayed inside the SXMSALERTRULES table in QA.
Do you perhaps know how to solve this issue so that the rules are also correclty displayed in the RWB after transporting?
    Thanks and regards

  • Integrated Planning and Non-cumulative key figure

    Hi
I´m creating an Integrated Planning application and a problem has occurred. The users want to plan on inflow and outflow and at the same time have a row with the total sum in the same layout (they are planning on 0CALMONTH and 0ORGUNIT) This can e.g. be solved through use Web Application Designer with one planning query and one traditional query.
Any way. I have created a non-cumulative key figure with an inflow- and an outflow key figure. The problem is that the non-cumulative key figure starts working first when I change the planning mode from plan status to load status. I could use function modules, to change the status, behind the save button but there are several users who are planning at the same cube at the same time and I don´t want to lock the others from planning.
    How to solve this?
    - Is it possible to restrict the switching, from plan to load, by setting some kind of filter at the users org.unit? (0ORGUNIT is an authorization object)
    - Is it possible to create a process chain and then load the data to another cube for reporting at just this key figure? And also here have a filter at the org.unit
I will gladly get all kind of idea and input to solve this problem. Maybe there is some other way to go than using non-cumulative key figureu2026

    Thanks for your answers
I have tried different scenarios and I will use a u201Dsave-buttonu201D. In the save-button I use the commands SAVE_DATA and EXECUTE_PROCESS_CHAIN. The command u201CEXECUTE_PROCESS_CHAIN starts a process chain that switches from plan mode to load mode and then back to plan mode again.
One new problem has arisen. The non-cumulative key figure is updating if an existing value (inflow- or outflow) is changed. But if an input is made to an empty cell, without value, nothing happen when I press on the start-button. BUT if I refresh the browser the non-cumulative value is updated!!!
Is there any command in WAD that refresh the whole page? If so I can include it in my start-button.
If not, any sugestion on how to solve the problem?
    Best regards
    Mikael

  • Performance of "Distribute by key" in Integrated Planning

    Hi
I am currently working on an assesment solution in Integrated Planning on SAP BI 7.0, SP 12.
I amcreating a small test where I have copied appr. 5500 records into a transactional cube. On this cube I have a separate aggregation level which is basis for the next step.
Then I want to distribute these 5500 records. I created a "Distribute by key" function for this without selections, doing a top-down for all, changing 0PROFIT_CTR to a specific value with the factor 50. Regarding the factor there used to be 2 lines but I deleted one to debug.
Then I added this to a planning sequence as the only function. Running this in the dialog process it reads 5500 records and moves them to the correct 0PROFIT_CTR.
HOWEVER, it takes around 30 minutes!!! Doing it in the background isn't much better. There are no other processes running, and performance is besides from this quite good.
Do you have any explanation for this?
    Br Karsten

SAP has solved the issue. You can see the solution from the correspondance below:
    Hello Karsten,
the filter does not only restrict the transaction data that you are
processing. It is also taken into account when the system generates
possible characteristic combinations which is done in your case.
Without restriction, the system tries to generate all possible
combinations. With a restriction in the filter, only the master data
values within the filter restriction will be used in the characteristic
    relationships.

    Hi Dirk
    Thank you for your feedback!
However, I have an elaborating question.
Why should I restrict better in the filter? I could also filter on
period but I would still get the same amount of records. But would it
still improve performance due to the characteristic combination
    creation? If so, why?
I am just trying to understand the issue, so I can avoid it in the
    future.

    Dear Karsten,
it seems the situation described in SAP Note 1015400 applies to your
problem with the planning function performance.
The system is busy with creating characteristic combinations for
the characteristic relationships. Please apply the note in your
system and find a better restriction for filter DISTKEYTEST.
    Then test the performance again.

  • Activate Integrated Planning for Cost Line Items posting

    Hi all,
Based on this SAP Help link, there are two ways to create plan line items:
    1) By adding the business transaction "Plan line items" to the user status of the WBS Element.
    2) By activating Planning Integration a.k.a. Integrated Planning for version and WBS Element/Project Profile.
Option 1 works fine for me.
However, option 2 does not seem to be working when I activate it, contradicting the state from the link:
If planning integration is active in the fiscal-year-dependent parameters of the relevant planning versions, the system writes cost element planning line items for plan-integrated WBS elements, regardless of user status.
So far what I have customized is:
-In transaction OKEV, select the version, click on "Settings for Each Fiscal Year" and double click for the year. Then I mark both "Integrated Planning" and "Integrated planning with cost center/bus. processes" checkboxes.
-Activate "Integrated Planning" at Project Profile level: go to transaction OPSA, select Project Profile, go to tab "Controlling" and mark "Integrated Planning".
Nevertheless, when I post plan costs from transaction CJR2 using the customizing above (based on second option), I see no cost lines when running CJI4.
I wonder if there is something missing in customizing that allows me to see posted cost line items in CJI4. I would appreciate very much your help.
    Many thanks and best regards,
    Pablo

    Hi Gokul,
Many thanks for the link to that threat, Rachel Tang's reply on that discussion is very complete and included the answer to my question.
She comments that three points must be checked to activate Integration Planning:
    1) Mark "Integrated Planning" at CO Version/Year level (SPRO > Controlling > General Controlling > Organization > Maintain versions).
    2) Mark "Integrated Planning with costs centers/bus. processes" at CO Version/Year level (same transaction).
    3) Ensure WBS Element has Integration Planning marked (PRPS-PLINT = X). [It looks like this is done automatically by marking Project Integration at Project Profile level BEFORE project is created]
In my case, I had first and second steps correct. However, even though I had marked Integration Planning at Project Profile level, it seems that already created Project Definitions are not updated with new Integrated Planning value after it is changed at Project Profile level.
Maybe it is possible to modify WBS Element's Integration Planning flag manually (though SAP OSS Note 301917 states that this is impossible), otherwise I could never achieve Integration Planning for already created projects.
In my case it would be more suitable to use the alternative of adding Business Transaction "Write plan line items" to User Status.
Many thanks to Sanjeev and Gokul for your help.
    Best regards,
    Pablo

  • View temporary data in Web layout during file upload in Integrated Planning

    Hi Experts,
When using File Upload funcationality, in Integrated Planning,
I have a requirment, How user can view the data in the web layout?
After data display user can make changes in the data and on click of Save the updated data is saved in cube.
If any one has come across this requirment can you please help me out how things can be carried out?
If "how to implement" document is present can you please provide me the link.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Abhi

    Hi Abhi,
I assume, you are using WAD for this..
Please do the following: (Please note the the cube has to be in Plan mode while executing WAD)
    1. Create a input enable query (through query designer) on th eaggregate level (the one you are using for IP). You might need to create filers for the aggregate level. these filters can also be used in the query.
    2. In the WAD, pull this query.
    3. Create a button in WAD and check for the planning functionalities readily available that you can use in WAD. One of the planning functionality is SAVE Data. This will save any data which is entered by the user.
    4. In the same button integrate a Refresh Data command after the SAVE data. This will automatically refresh the query and pull the updated/changed data from the cube.
This should work. Please write back in case of any clarification.
    Regards, Rishi
