Infoobject 0doc_number not activating

could any one tell me how to activate 0doc_number , which is there in business content,i hv been treing to active in diff ways , but still i could not , plz tell me what could be the problem, how i can activate it

Hi,
Check out your info-opbject in Tcode RDS1 with the analyze function. If needed there is a repair function.
0doc_number was not yet present in the system and included in authorisation objects.. In this case activating from BC will fail.

hello all,
When I am trying to install anything from BI Content. I am getting these pop ups:
Infoobject 0CEPRCS5 not active in the system and is being deleted"
And it keeps on going for alot of infoobjects, a few of them being 0CEBQRQM,0CERVSVOL,0CECLSM ...all are starting with 0CE.
I need to hit ok to get through all these pop ups and then my objects continue collecting.
What is this pop up for, is any one else seeing these pop ups?

For the sake of discussion, I have the same issue for e.g. 0VKAPPSID and 0VKDLGID, when collecting the <i>not assigned characteristics</i> IOCatalog and the related objects before the data flow.

Hi All
iam not able to activate 0doc_number.while activating /BI0/sdoc_number is not getting activated.
I have tried to activate the SID table using T code se14 with no luck.
Can any one give suggestion.

Symptom
Characteristics can not be activated or copied from the Business Content. The message below appears in the system log under messages:
'Copy: InfoObject(IOBJ) '
'Activate objects of type InfoObject'
'Activat internally (InfoObject)'
'Execute activation of all dictionary objects'
'Error/warning in dictionary activator, detailed log > detail' (Message R7 159)
Message:
'A table with the name /BI0/xxx exists on the database'(DA431)
'No active nametab exists for /BIO/xxx/' (DA300)
'Termination due to inconsistencies' (DA432)
'Table /BIO/xxx (statements could not be generated) (DT06)

Reason and Prerequisites
The characteristic is new, which means that no active version yet exists.
Absolutely no DDIC objects and no DB tables should exist for new characteristics.However, the DB tables may sometimes have already been created (committed) due to an overflow of the activation log, although the DDIC objects for these tables do not exist.
Then it is no longer possible to activate these InfoObjects.
Solution
You can delete the unnecessary object DDIC objects using InfoObject repair:Transaction RSD1 -> Repair InfoObjects -> Object Selection -> select the 'check generated objects' and 'delete DDIC/DB object' selection boxes only.In the "InfoObjects" field, you can then limit the InfoObjects to be checked.
You can then activate the InfoObjects.
In some circumstances, the following error can occur with a new activation: 'The SQL statement was not executed', 'Table /BI/xxxx (Error when adjust the database)'.In this case, the index of the table already exists. The repair described above must be performed here again. In addition, you must delete the index using the DB_DROP_INDEXfunction module. To do this, start transaction SE37 and execute the function module mentioned in test mode. In the DBINDEX field, enter the index name specified in the log (example: /BI/xxxx~0). In the TABNM field, enter the name of the table (/BI*/xxxx). You can delete the index by selecting 'Execute'. You can then activate the InfoObjects.

Infoobject 0doc_number does not fulfill ref.integrity in record 1

Hi BW Experts,
I am facing an error in quality server "infoobject 0doc_number does not fulfill ref.integrity in record" while scheduling the infopackage. But it was working fine in development server.
While scheduling the infopackage i have choosen the option "always update data if no master data exists for the data"
Also tried with the "Do not update data if no master data exists for a characteristic"
Can anyone help me with solution as this issue is critical for me.

I want to add one more point... i can't comment whether do we need to add the Referencial Integrety Check for Document Number .i.e 0DOC_NUMBER.
One thing i want to say is that It is mainly for BW integrated with Flat Files, DB Connect etc. also for SAP Systems if any conversion routine exists. Other wise SAP Systems will provide correct Data. If other non-SAP Systems connected to BW, it's better to add that Check. That will put some extra check while loading data. still it is good practice.
1. Try with Option Load Data without Master data.
2. if above option won't work, try load Master Data first. It will create SID for New Documents. then load the Transactional Data.
I think you already tried 1st option. you didn't tried 2nd option.

Hi Amit,
I think in the infopackage u will have setting load data eventhough no master data exist.This will help u to fix the data load.During Transaction data loading usefully the Referential will be checked if u have enabled the option in infopackage.
U have Two Solution to this issue :
one to load the master data before transaction data
another one u can set in infopackage load data eventhogh no master data Exist in the infopackage.

Hi venkat,
Go to BI content->all object according to type->infoobject-> search 0DOC_NUMBER
Then transfer it to colected object area and then install.
If the same infoobject is available in modeling->infoobject tree then u can directly activate it.

Error: InfoObject does not contain alpha-conforming value 20030729

Hi everyone,
I got this problem, that i tried to fix yesterday, but all i did was that i got realy frustrated...
I created an infoobject which is copy of 0DOC_NUMBER and has alpha coversion routine.
Mapping field in DataSource is also type character 10(VBELN) as my infoobject.
But there are some values in this field that i am trying to load, less then 10 characters long (20030729,20051116...) and shouldn't be there, because the values are dates and not document numbers.
But anyway on R/3 side this values are in field which is defined as character 10 (VBELN), and when I am trying to load Infopackage(17500 records) I get 52 errors: InfoObject does not contain alpha-conforming value 20030729.
I don't get it, since both fields are type character 10 and the values are only digits, why do I get this error message and how can I fix it?
PS:One solution is to remove alpha conversion routine from infoobject, but i don't want that.

sorry... correction, it's 'Exclusive attributes' that cannot be used for navigational attribute, you can set lower case to differentiate ... check the impact of lower case setting here ...

If this indicator is set, the system differentiates between lowercase letters and capital letters when you use a screen template to input values. If this indicator is not set, the system converts all the letters into capital letters when you use a screen template to input values.

If you want to use the characteristic in variables, the system is only able to find the values for the characteristic if the lowercase letters and the capital letters are typed in accurately on the input screen for variables. Exclusive attributes:
If you select Exclusively Attributes, the created characteristic can be used only as a display attribute for another characteristic, and not as a dedicated characteristic in the InfoCube. Furthermore, you then cannot transfer the characteristic into InfoCubes. However, you can use it in ODS objects or InfoSets.

This is not an error but while installing bunch of infoobjects, it will say which one of them it doesnot have in the system could be the problem in patches.Could be very old.
Hence better you create a infobject equivalent of the object you require and use it and goahead.

Attribute change run problem - infoobject is not listed in the list

Hi folks,
When I load master data for 0customer, the infoobject 0customer doesnt come in the infoobject list for attribute change run. Also, when I try to activate master data manually it says 'Master Data already active'. and the reality is M version of Data is not active.
Can you guide me.

Try running the program RSDMD_CHECKPRG_ALL for this infoobject. You can select all the options when running this program.
Try running this program multiple times, coz my experience showed that initial run may not always fix this issue.

Cannot find the InfoObject 0DOC_NUMBER in BI Content

I have a big problem. I am not able to find the InfoObject 0DOC_NUMBER in the BI Content. Nowhere able to find in my IDES System. Tell me what can I do to get this IO. I am in desparate. I try to practice the step-by-step modelling in SAP Library of BI.

InfoObject 0DOC_NUMBER, has to be there in the BI content. I hope you are looking at the right place.
Please goto Business Content tab -> Object types -> Select InfoObject -> Below it, you will find 'Select Objects' Double click on it -> search for 0DOC_NUMBER.
I am quite sure you will find it.
If not, on the menu bar, goto System -> Status -> Component version -> Click on component information -> check if BI_CONT component is installed.

RSSM: Checks Authorization Objects for Infoprovider are not activ

Hello,
we have BW 3.5 and we use RSSM Authorization Objects.
When we create a new cube with an Infoobject that is authorization relevant, in our development-system in rssm the flags for the checks are automatically activ.
When we transport the new cube to our production-system, the flags in RSSM for the authorization object are not activ.
Sometimes the new infoprovider is not in the list of the infoprovider in rssm, so we have to "update check status" with the appropriate icon.
My question:
It is possible, that when we import the new cube in our production-system, that all authorization objects are activ??

Normally system would check all the authorization relevant objects whenever a new Info cube is imported and in case if you want to transport these changes to Production system manually then follow the below listed steps:
1) In Development system, check or un-check the authorization relevancy using the transaction RSSM on a given Info provider
2) These changes are stored in table RSSTOBJDIR
3) Create a manuall transport request and include these entries covering the required Authorization objects manually.
R3TR TABU RSSTOBJDIR
Ex: If Info object 'A' is authorization relevant in Development system but not in Production system and you want to transport this change to Production system then include object 'A' table entries manually.

Hierarchy on 0CUST_SALES is not activating.

Hi All,
I am trying to load flat file hierachy into 0CUST_SALES infoobject.Hierachy uploading correctly but its not activating.
I tried it manuvally still its not activating and running long time(More than 4 hours) .So i canceld the activation.
I also tried by creating hierachy manuvally with one node and activated manuvally . still i am seeing the same issue.
its not actiavting and activation process running long time . So i can canceld the job.
We are in BI 7. SP 20.
i tried to activate hierarchy in other infoobjects its working fine. I do not understand what could be the issue with 0cust_sales,.
please let me know what could be the issue?

Hi Sirisha,
If the 0CUST_SALES master data is used in aggregates, then the attribute change run and save hierarchy will take more time.
You can check the details of the ACR job in workbench. In RSA1 tocde, In menu select tools -> Apply Heirarchy / Attribute change and click on monitor tab.
If the Aggregates are inconsistent then need to clear and refill the aggregates, then the Heirarchy / Attribute change run will work fine.
Or run the program RSDDS_CHANGERUN_MONITOR in SE38 to see the details

Materials listed below doesn't exist (or) not activated in the Source system.
1. The material 332-369090-00 does not exist or not activated
2. The material 410-051003 does not exist or not activated
2LIS_02_SCL-Purchasing Data (Schedule Line Level) -
This data source is going to the below data targets.
1. Purchasing Data - ZPUR_C01
2. Purchasing Groups - ZPUR_C04
3. Backlogged Purchase Order Schedule Lines ZPUR_C10
Like this no of materials available in BWPRD but not available in R/3 PRD source system .so how to delete specific master data records for material

Easiest way to solve this is to check the mara table in R/3. try and find your material there. If its not there, then it either has been manually created or loaded from a different source system. Check all the source systems if anyone has loaded them. Then check your cubes and ODSs if you can find any transactional data for these materials. If yes, then there is a possiblity that maybe it was created to correct a failed load. You should then identify the document and compare the same on in R/3.
If this material is used in any transaction data, then you can simply delete it. RSA1-> Find the infoobject(characteristic)-> Maintain master data-> Give the material nos-> select the row and press the delete button.

Hello All,
I faced the same issue.
The problem is that although the InfoObject is active as an 'InfoObject', it also should be activated as an 'InfoSource' and 'InfoProvider'.
For this, go to the tab 'Master Data/Texts' and give the application component name for the InfoSource and the InfoArea for the InfoProvider. You can see that the check boxes InfoSource with direct update and Characteristic is an InfoProvider will get checked.
I hope this solves your issues.

I have received this error when trying to activate a DSO or InfoCube, when that InfoProvider includes a navigational attribute that has been removed from its parent InfoObject. I'm trying to figure out ways to correct the error, but so far the only way I can find is to add the attribute back into the parent InfoObject, then remove the attribute from the InfoProvider and activate the InfoProvider. You can then remove the attribute from the parent InfoObject again if desired.
