Installation from scratch

Hi Guys,
I am following this: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E11882_01/install.112/e16767/toc.htm#i1011296
it says after df -h then chose your mount_point and then do this:
# mkdir -p /mount_point/app/
# chown -R oracle:oinstall /mount_point/app/
# chmod -R 775 /mount_point/app/
For example:
# mkdir -p /u01/app/
# chown -R oracle:oinstall /u01/app/
# chmod -R 775 /u01/app/
my mount points are as below:
[root@localhost scripts]# df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/mapper/VolGroup00-LogVol00
107G 2.1G 99G 3% /
/dev/sda1 99M 12M 83M 13% /boot
tmpfs 1009M 0 1009M 0% /dev/shm
[root@localhost scripts]#
can somebody please let me know how I should proceed based on OFA ? thanks!

Hi;
107G 2.1G 99G 3% /You already mention as below how you can create mount point for your installation
# mkdir -p /u01/app/
# chown -R oracle:oinstall /u01/app/
# chmod -R 775 /u01/app/so follow same steps and you will have /u01/app under your / (root path)
