INTER TRANSFER IN TWO PETTY CASH A/C THROUGH FBCJ

Hi All please suggest me,
Suppose I have two Petty Cash A/C , say A & B.
I have transferred cash Rs 5000/- from A  to B by using t-code FBCJ. After transferring , in
FBCJ screen of A its showing  Rs 5000/- less. But in FBCJ screen of B Rs 5000/- is not showing any effect.
So balance of B is showing same in FBCJ screen as before.
Is it possible to pass an entry through FBCJ in 1 petty cash A/C and giving effect in 2 petty cash a/c FBCJ screen ?
Regards
Amitava Saha

If you are using FBCJ, you cannot show the effects directly. You need to create a transit transaction in both and do a payout and reciept. The accounting entries will be like this:
Cash With drawal from Petty cash Book A
Cash in Transit Dr
    To Cash Book A
Cash Reciept in Petty cash Book B
Cash Book B
   To Cash in Transit
In your problem, the entries would be reflecting in FBL3N and would not be reflecting in the balance of Cash Book in T Code FBCJ

    Hi,
As per your issue details i guess these are not only a cash gl accounts but also two different cash journals. If this is the case, then you can maintain one cash transfer account for these kind of transaction. Here you can record the payment and receipt entry in this account and thus the balance will be nil and also cash book will tally with gl account balance. If you are making direct gl account entry your cash book balance and gl balance will have a difference.

    Dear SAP Student
It is just like inter unit cash transfers.  Also each department is spending cash on its own.  Now that I would like to know the balance cash departmentwise.
As you said if I receive and pay through vendors I would be in a position to know only vendor wise balances.  It does not serve my very purpose of deparmentwise balance of cash.
I agree with Selva to go in for creating deparmentwise cash journals in the company code since each deparment is incurring expenses also and each department wise balance is also required.

Do the following steps for STO Customizing:-
    1. Create a customer master record for the issuing plant.
    2. Create a vendor master record for the issuing plant, and enter customer account number in the Customer field on the Control screen.
    3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for the receiving plant.
    4. Assign the plants to the customer master record in Customizing for Materials Management (MM), by choosing Purchasing <Purchase Order < Set Up Stock Transport Order< Plants.
The Process Flow would be as follows :-
Create a stock transport order, following the standard procedure, and send the order to the issuing plant.
Issuing plant has processes your order, and when it is ready to ship, the storeperson at the issuing plant issues the goods using a transfer posting. The excise clerk there creates an excise invoice. The excise supervisor verifies and posts the excise invoice. It then sends the goods to you, together with the excise invoice.
Once the goods arrive, you follow the standard procedure for incoming excise invoices:
The excise clerk captures the excise invoice, using the stock transport order as the reference document. The storeperson enters the goods receipt, again using the stock transport order as the reference document.Alternatively, you can first enter the goods receipt and then capture the excise invoice.
The excise supervisor then posts the excise invoice.

    Hello!
I'm afraid that only a few operations can be done with transaction FBCJ and there are the following:
    1     Cash Journal Postings
         1.1     Posting a Customer Invoice
         1.2     Posting an Incoming Payment
         1.3     Clearing the Customer Invoice
1.4     Document Split Postings in the Cash Journal
1.5     Direct Postings to Tax Accounts
1.6     Transferring Cash from Petty Cash to a House Bank Account
1.7     Paying Cash to a Vendor, Followed by Reversal
I couldn't transfer cash from one petty cash to another one from FBCJ.
If you know another way to do it with the petty cash, please share it with me!!

  • Parking of petty cash document

    Hi experts,
In FBCJ,after aking entry,we can save it and then we can post it.Is there any facility of parking petty cash document.
    Please advise.
    Regards,
    Samaar

    Hi Samar,
In cash journal, there is no provision for parking & posting. Here you have the functionality of Saving the document & then posting. These two activities can be assigned to two different users depending on their authorities with the help of Authorisations.

    Hello,
I encountered an error in the Payment Wizard screen as I was creating an Outgoing Payment for petty cash expenses. On the “Recommendation Report” screen, I clicked “Non-Included Trans.” and saw that one of the vendors (Vendor Code: WILCO) has the following error:
“The document amount is greater than the max. amount allowed in the payment methods linked to the BP”
Upon checking, the “PCF-W” Payment Method linked to WILCO does not have any restrictions, nor does WILCO have any credit/commitment limit set. I have also appropriately defined the Dummy Business Partner Bank (under Payment Terms) as well as checked the “Included” box for PCF-W on the Payment Run-Payment Methods screen.
Could anyone please help me on this?

PS - have found other posts indicating that clips smaller than 2s or sometimes 5s, or "short files" can cause this. Modern style editing often uses short takes ! Good grief I cannot believe Apple. Well I deleted a half a dozen short sections and can export, but now of course the video is a ruined piiece of junk and I need to re-do the whole thing, the sound etc. which is basically taking as much time as the original. And each time I re-do it I risk again this lovely error -50 and again trying to figure out what thing bugs it via trial and error instead of a REASONABLE ERROR MESSAGE POINTING TO THE CLIP IT CAN'T PROCESS. What a mess. I HATE this iMovie application - full of BUGS BUGS BUGS which Apple will not fix obviously, since I had this product for a few years and see just hundreds of hits on Google about this error with disappointed users. Such junk I cannot believe I paid money for it and Apple does not support it with fixes !!!
If anyone knows of a GOOD reasonably priced video editing program NOT from APPLE I am still looking for suggestions. I want to do more video in future, but obviously NOT with iMovie !!!

  • Error 33172 occurred at Read & Write data transfer between two or more PF2010 controller

Hi,i need to do data transfer between two or more FP2010 controller.e.g. FP2010(A) & FP2010(B).
FP2010(A) need to transfer the measurement (from its I/O module) to FP2010(B) to do the data analysis. These data transfer should be synchronous btw two controller to prevent data lost.
From the vi used in the attachment,i encountered some problems at:
    (1) Error 33172 occurred while publishing the data. Can i create and publish data under different item name?
    (2) How to synchronies the read & write btw contorller?
All controller are communicating with each other directly without the need of a host computer to link them together
Is there any other method to do fast data transfer betwe
    en controller?

    Hi YongNei,
You were succesful in omiting enough information to make it very difficult to answer!
    Please post your example.
Please tell us what version of LV-RT you are using.
Please define what you concider "fast data transfer".
Have you concidered mapping the FP tags of FP2010(A) to FP2010(B) and vise versa?
WHat exactly has to be syncronized?
If you have something that is close to working, share that.
Well, that as far as I can go with the info you have provided. Depending on the details, what you are asking could be anything from trivial to impossible with the currently available technology. I just can't say.
It would probably be a good idea to start over with a fresh question (sorry) because not many people are going to know what a a "
PF2010" is and I can not guarentee that I will be able to get back to you personally until next week-end.

  • How to add a petty cash payment in journal entry

HI, I was just wondering if anybody could help me with regards to making a petty cash payment, for example if i went to the shop for and spent £15.00 on stationary etc, how would i post this payment in the journal entry screen?
    many thanks.

    Hello RWCS...welcome to the forums...
OK, first things first - the definition of petty cash.  Petty cash is a function inside any company which allows employees to purchase products out of their own pocket and allows the Petty Cash Person to pay/reimburse for some item or services under a certain amount (say $25).  Petty Cash is generally a sum of money maintained in the company in a box or drawer - that is what the accounts says - petty cash.   The WHOLE purpose of petty cash is to avoid cutting a check for each and every minor purchase or payment - so there would be no payment created at all until it is time to replenish Petty Cash with more money.
So in essence, if you are using Petty Cash, there is no journal entry or SAP B1 payment for individual transactions until it is time to replenish.  The Petty Cash Clerk (person having the box or drawer) would collect receipts as the money is being paid out.
At a certain point in time (usually at month-end or when the cash is low in the Petty Cash drawer), a journal entry is made Crediting Petty Cash and Debiting the various Expense Accounts by using the receipts collected.
Then an AP "Service Type" Invoice and an outgoing payment is made to the Petty Cash Person where the clerk goes to the bank and gets more money for the drawer.  While creating the AP Invoice, the Petty Cash GL Account is selected on the line.  That will create an automatic journal entry of credit to Operating Cash and debit to the Petty Cash.
If you are not doing this procedure, you do not have Petty Cash.  So hopefully that describes what you are doing...

  • Payment to vendor thru Petty cash

    Dear all
While making a payment to vendor thru petty cash by deducting TDS amount total payment amount should not
add that TDS amount but in our case total payment is considering that  TDS amount also.
    Earliest help is needed.
    Viral.

Think that you have raised 1000 Rs Invoice on which TDS is 100 Rs, so the amount payable is 900 Rs. You have to pay 900 for the vendor through cash journal and go to F-44 and knock off the invoice and cash payment.

  • Cash with drawn from bank for petty cash use (FBCJ)

    HI,
We are using cash journal (FBCJ)for all cash transactions. While withdrawing money from bank for petty cash use, howwe will handle in SAP.
Client wants to prepare bank payment voucher for withdrawing cash from bank.  After preparing cheque by bank section the cheque will be handed over to cashier for withdrawing money from bank.
    Thanks
    Chris

    Hi Satish,
Through FBCJ transaction you can do the cash receipt / cash payment to Bank (Bank clearing Account). By using the Business transaction "Receipt from Bank" and "Payment to Bank".
Hence bank posting will happen in the Bank clearing account. As soon as BRS is done, it will hit the Bank Main account.
Hope it is clear for you. If my reply is useful than please assign points for the same.
    Thanks & best regards,

  • Managing petty cash float and float-reimbursement

    HI
I want to know best functionality in Oracle EBS to Manage petty cash float and float reimberstment.
I am looking at comprehensive solution in oracle EBS for petty cash requirements. Such as expense reimberstment to employees in the organisation as well as manging float and float reimberstment.
I have checked Internet expense functioality and i feel most of the expense reimberstment to employees can be done through iexpense and AP
However I want to know best functiolaity in Oracle EBS R12 for the process of managing petty cash float and float reimberstment.
    Thanks

    Guyz,
Unfortunately there is no standard functionality available in Oracle EBS for handling Petty Cash. But there are some Workarounds i recommend to my clients depending on the level of detail they require
Either you create a Petty Cash Supplier
and second workaround is creating a Petty Cash Bank.
    Or a Fusion of both.
