Interface in Sharepoint 2013, backend in PHP

I want to create an application which has the interface as a Sharepoint 2013 page (for example a number of input and select elements
within a Script Editor), but for the operations with the data in the fields I want to use php with a mysql database.
How can I do that?
Thank you!

Hi,
Per my understanding, you might want to create a PHP application with the interface in SharePoint 2013 style.
I suggest you create the custom component which has the similar functionalities as what SharePoint 2013 Script Editor Web Part provides using JavaScript or other client
side technology.
As this question is more relate to PHP, it would be more appropriate to ask for help in the corresponding forum, you will get more help and confirmed answers there.
Thanks

  • SQL Server CLR SharePoint Interface for Sharepoint 2013

    Hello everybody.
    Is the project
    http://archive.msdn.microsoft.com/SqlClrSharePoint
    actual to use with Sharepoint 2013 + SQL Server 2012 SP1?
    Sergey Vdovin

    Have you read the readme that's included within the archive?  I'll quote it below for ease of reference: -
    Considering it's for SharePoint and SQL instances that are several versions below what's widely used or supported now, I'd be surprised if this worked.  The db schema changes alone might make this tricky to get working.
    sp_configure 'clr enabled',1
    reconfigure
    a) Create your target database if it doesn't exist.
    b) Mark the database as TRUSTWORTHY, to allow you to run EXTERNAL_ACCESS CLR code.
    alter database MyDB set trustworthy on
    c) Make sure your database is owned by a sysadmin or the database owner has the EXTERNAL
    ACCESS ASSEMBLY privilege.
    2) Build the assembly SqlClrSharePointInterface.dll using VisualStudio (or MsBuild)
    3) Pre-Generate the XML Serialization Assembly
    XML Serializer Generator Tool (Sgen.exe)
    http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bk3w6240(vs.80).aspx
    eg:
    sgen /a:c:\mycode\SqlClrSharePointInterface\bin\release\SqlClrSharePointInterface.dll /f
    4) Install the Assemblies in SQL Server
    a)Copy the XML Serialization assembly and SqlClrSharePointInterface.dll somewhere where your SQL Server
    can read the files.
    b) run CREATE ASSEMBLY on SqlClrSharePointInterface.dll, marking it as EXTERNAL_ACCESS
    CREATE ASSEMBLY [SqlClrSharePointInterface]
    FROM 'c:\deploy\SqlClrSharePointInterface.dll'
    WITH PERMISSION_SET = EXTERNAL_ACCESS
    c) run CREATE ASSEMBLY on the XML Serialization assembly
    CREATE ASSEMBLY [SqlClrSharePointInterfaceXML]
    FROM 'c:\deploy\SqlClrSharePointInterface.XmlSerializers.dll'
    5) Register the functions by running CREATE FUNCTION on each UDF.
    Something like:
    CREATE FUNCTION [dbo].[GetListCollection](@siteUrl [nvarchar](4000))
    RETURNS TABLE (
    [Title] [nvarchar](max) NULL,
    [Description] [nvarchar](max) NULL,
    [Name] [uniqueidentifier] NULL,
    [ItemCount] [int] NULL
    ) WITH EXECUTE AS CALLER
    AS
    EXTERNAL NAME [SqlClrSharePointInterface].[ListFunctions].[GetListCollection]
    GO
    CREATE FUNCTION [dbo].[GetListItemsTable](@siteUrl [nvarchar](4000), @listName [nvarchar](4000), @viewName [nvarchar](4000))
    RETURNS TABLE (
    [ID] [int] NULL,
    [ModifiedBy] [nvarchar](200) NULL,
    [Title] [nvarchar](200) NULL,
    [ContentType] [nvarchar](100) NULL,
    [Created] [datetime] NULL,
    [Modified] [datetime] NULL,
    [EncodedAbsUrl] [nvarchar](400) NULL
    ) WITH EXECUTE AS CALLER
    AS
    EXTERNAL NAME [SqlClrSharePointInterface].[ListFunctions].[GetListItemsTable]
    GO
    CREATE FUNCTION [dbo].[GetListItems](@siteUrl [nvarchar](4000), @listName [nvarchar](4000), @viewName [nvarchar](4000))
    RETURNS [xml] WITH EXECUTE AS CALLER
    AS
    EXTERNAL NAME [SqlClrSharePointInterface].[ListFunctions].[GetListItems]
    GO
    Then query SharePoint. Something like
    select * form dbo.GetListCollection('http://MySharePointSite');
    To get the list of SharePoint Lists available. Then retrieve the items for one of the lists.
    the GetListItems function returns a single XML document containing all of the items. So to
    make use of the data, you would typically use an XML-shreading query like this:
    with ListItems as
    select dbo.GetListItems('http://MySharePointSite','Site Collection Documents',null) AllListItems
    select
    Item.value('@ows_Title', 'varchar(50)') Title,
    Item.value('@ows_EncodedAbsUrl','varchar(max)') Url
    ,Item.query('.') Item
    from ListItems cross apply ListItems.AllListItems.nodes('/*/*') Items(Item)
    There is also an example of a higher-performance solution that shreads the XML in CLR code
    and returns a relational result to SQL Server. But you will need to customize the coding
    to return the fields that are relevent in your list.
    Select * from dbo.GetListItemsTable('http://MySharePointSite','Site Collection Documents',null)

  • SharePoint 2010 UI Interface to add Custom Property for a Term, similar to SharePoint 2013 .

    Hi All,
    We have a requirement to capture additional metadata for each Term (Ex: Requested for, Requested date, Requested by). these properties are not available in Sharepoint 2010 OOTB but can be acheived using Term.SetCustomProperty(). where as in SharePoint 2013,we
    have option to add/update/delete custom Properties in Term Store management window(Custom propertiesTabs) , which is OOTB.
    Just want to understand is  there any way to get that Custom Property Tab interface in 2010. Or any other way to manage(Add/Update/delete) custom properties from the browser itself.
    Is there any codeplex/other solution which will  allow us to manage properties from browser with out doing the code.
    Any suggestions on this would be helpful
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
    According to your description, you want to manage term custom property in SharePoint 2010.
    As you know, there is no OOTB method to meet your requirement.
    If you want to do it without coding, you can take a look at this tool about managing term store:
    http://www.metavistech.com/product/term-store-manager
    As this is a third party tool, we are not sure whether it has risks, please use with caution.

  • SharePoint 2013 Anonymous (public) site and Office Web Apps Server 2013 issue with download.aspx

    Our organization has a public facing anonymous site in SharePoint 2013 which allows access to documents (docx) in a library.  ViewFormsLockdown is activated as we present the documents via CQWP / custom template.  We are combating the usual
    issue of multiple login prompts when using Internet Explorer when a user accesses said document.  We also have tried  using the Word Viewer (view only mode) from Office Web Apps Server 2013 which works well, but ...
    the problem stems from the fact that users can go the file menu from the word view and choose to download the document (which is what we want),  unfortunately it looks like the link redirects via /_layouts/15/download.aspx which also presents a login
    prompt. Much has been written out there about doing direct links for documents via /_layouts/download.aspx to address multiple login prompts when the document is opening in word (from IE).
    I've tried nearly every combination of recommendations (disabling client integration, browser file handling (permissive/strict), ViewFormsLockdown feature, web.config modifications with options and propfind verbs and more) all to varying levels of success,
    but never totally getting rid of the prompt.  It has been stated that because the downloads.aspx inherits from Microsoft.SharePoint.ApplicationPages.Download this will not allow anonymous access.  We really want to use the word view from the Office
    web app and have the file download functionality work from the menu there ... can anyone suggest an alternate fix?  I might be wishing but will appreciate any guidance offered ...
    cheers,

  • Windows Server 2012 R2 - SharePoint 2013

    After an front end server upgrade from Windows Server 2012 Datacenter to Windows Server 2012 R2 Datacenter of our SharePoint 2013 farm, the following error is being experienced when trying to open a document library with Windows Explorer (this
    feature worked prior to the upgrade): Message from webpage "We're having a problem opening this location in File Explorer.  Add this web site to your Trusted Sites list and try again."
    Our domain is in the trusted sites list (*domain.com), the Webclient services are running, and the User Interfaces and Infrastructure > Desktop Experience feature is installed.
    It looks like this error was previously remedied with KB2903928. This update doesn't seem to apply to Windows Server 2012 R2 Datacenter.
    UPDATE: We have also discovered that site email boxes are not working.
    Thank you for your assistance,
    Jeanne

    Hi,
    Glad that the issue was solved.
    Meanwhile, please understand that before the release of Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013 Service Pack 1 (SP1), Microsoft did not support the installation of SharePoint Server 2013 in a Windows Server 2012 R2-based environment.

  • Want Access Data Grid control in SharePoint 2013?

    Hello everyone!
    Recently we noticed something funny in SharePoint 2013. While quite many people were hoping to have the datasheet view like those in SP2007 and 2010, Microsoft has chosen a different interface to display datasheet view.
    Now, if you try to create a sub site under a publishing site, and use the
    Publishing Site template then try to create a datasheet view in the sub site, SharePoint will try to use the Access data grid control to display the view. In some situations the view will display and other situations it will not, and will show this
    error:
    The list is displayed in Standard view. It cannot be displayed in Datasheet view for one or more of the following reasons: A datasheet component compatible with Microsoft SharePoint Foundation is not installed, your browser does not support ActiveX controls,
    a component is not properly configured for 32-bit or 64-bit support, or support for ActiveX controls is disabled.
    If you create a sub site using Publishing Site with Workflow instead, then the datasheet view will be created properly using SP2013 interface.
    Using PowerShell, we can see that both Publishing Portal and
    Publishing Site With Workflow are using the BLANKINTERNET 53 template. The
    Publishing Site on the other hand is using the CMSPUBLISHING 39 template.
    Want to try it out and let me know if that happens to your SharePoint too?

    Hi Conway,
    I tested the issue in my environment per your description and it returned the results as below:
    I created a subsite using Publishing site under a team site in SharePoint server 2013, the datasheet view in a list displayed as pic1
    I reproduced the issue in SharePoint server 2010, the datasheet view in a list displayed as pic2
    It turns out by design the datasheet view in the subsite based on Publishing site template displays as your situation. Here is an article which explains this:

  • No data with Web Analytics Reports - SharePoint 2013

    Hello,
    I have data when I click on the Web analytics reports.  I am using SharePoint 2013, but with sites with the SharePoint 2010 visual interface.
    What are some of the things to look for to get these working?
    I have Reports feature enabled at the site collection level.
    I have enabled usage data collection and have scheduled it.
    What is the SharePoint job to check to ensure that it is running.
    What is the permissions to use for the Logging database and the log folder?
    Thanks.
    Paul

    Take a look at http://blogs.msdn.com/b/chandru/archive/2013/08/31/sharepoint-2013-web-analytics-report-where-is-it.aspx
    to see if it explains what you're looking for (essentially, Web Analytics is no longer available).

  • Trying to link SharePoint 2010 Enterprise with SharePoint 2013 Search Server raises error

    Hi,
    I am currently working for a multinational who has SharePoint 2010 Enterprise Edition installed, 2 WFE SERVERS, 3 APP SERVERS, 1 DB SERVER. They also installed SharePoint 2013 Exterprise recently.
       Microsoft have recently come in and set up the SharePoint 2013 Search Server to crawl content in SharePoint 2010 as the replacement search to SharePoint 2010 Search. So they have gone through process of certificates and permissions
    setups I guess. I was told it was working, but recently failed. When I type in the search box on a web site for SharePoint 2010 I get the message:
             The search request was unable to connect to the Search Service.
    I checked the Event log and the Critical error (in Task Category:Timer) I get is the notorious:
    The Execute method of job definition Microsoft.Office.Server.Search.Administration.CrawlReportJobDefinition (ID fa882704-80d9-415b-9b9d-eae5e9bdefd4) threw an exception. More information is included below.
            The search service is not able to connect to the machine that hosts the administration
            component. Verify that the administration component 'e9172a05-22ec-4904-9508-
            e5431a180c2b' in search application 'Search_Service_Application' is in a good state and
            try again.
    I know administration component is the crawler. I am assuming this is permissions.
    The SharePoint 2013 Search Server is picking up SharePoint 2010 site collections items fine i.e. The SharePoint 2013 search shows items from 2010 as expected.
    On the SharePoint 2010 central admin box the search service enabled and running (checked with powershell). (SharePoint Server Search 14)
    The Search Service id: e9172a05-22ec-4904-9508-e5432a180c2b
    I also get the message in event log for gatherer on SharePoint 2010 CA and Search Server:
           Could not access the Search database. A generic error occurred while trying to access the database to obtain
           the schema version info.
           Context: Application 'e9172a05-22ec-4904-9508-e5431a180c2b'
    Details:
                (0x80040e09)
    Is this permissions to delete something from crawler??????
    I would appreciate if someone could help on this. I have tried to be as concise as possible.
    Thanks.
    John.

    It was a case that someone had fiddled with the Service App Associations. Hadn't ticked SharePoint 2013 search. Was still point at 2010. Thanks.
    The SharePoint 2013 Search works correctly for SharePoint 2010.
    Can someone confirm that the Search Service Application on SharePoint 2010 still needs to exist and hence SharePoint Server Search 14 Service still needs to be running? I am guessing it would as you search from 2010 interface not 2013. I am getting a critical
    error in the Event Viewer:
    CrawlReportJobDefinition (Id <SharePoint 2010 Crawler>)
    The search service is not able to connect to the machine that hosts the administration component. Verify that the administration component <crawler id> in search application "Search Service Application" is in a good state and try
    again.
    I think this is related to the fact we have SharePoint 2013 doing the search instead of 2010.
    Any ideas?
    John.

  • Items greyed out after upgrading and migrating to Sharepoint 2013 - Open and Check Out + Manage Document Option

    Hi there,
    Following a migration to SharePoint 2013, the follow options have been disabled (Open and Check out + Manage) (see below). These are critically important functions and make it very hard to make SharePoint a useable interface. Any guidance on how to resolve
    these issues is greatly appreciated. This is not a branded website, and there has been no changes made to the standard interface.
    Kind regards
    Jarrad Koppen

    I'm not sure what the easiest way is either.  First, I would try to create a new site collection with a new library and see if you get the same behavior.  If not, then its something in the upgrade process.  If it does that also would point
    to something being wrong in the way that javascript is being executed.
    If it is happening everywhere I suspect you'll have to start tracing javascript using something like IE developer's toolbar to see why the status on those buttons isn't changing when you select a document.  I'm not sure what else to suggest.

  • Publish Sharepoint 2013 via Web Application Proxy and Kerberos Authentication

    This is similar to

  • SharePoint 2013 multi App domain issues

    Hello,
    All urls on purpose have a space character, this is because the forum didn't let me enter URLs.
    We have a problem with the new feature of SharePoint 2013 March PU “New-SPWebApplicationAppDomain”.
    We are implementing this feature for a client in Windows Azure. This lead to several technical issues to overcome and in previous LAB tests it seems that we have overcome these problems, using named binding instead of wildcard, and SNI.
    Goal:
    1 Webapplication with three zones:
    Default zone: https: //portal-ntlm.contoso.com
    Intranet zone: https: //portal-adfs.contoso.com
    Extranet zone: https: //portal-fba.contoso.com
    Default zone in NTLM of course is to make Search work.
    With the new feature described in http ://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn144963.aspx we should be able to get App Domains working on all three (or at least two out of three zones).
    In my LAB (Single server farm, running SP2013 SP1) I currently configured two zones, both NTLM to test the basics.
    Default zone: https: //portal.contoso.com Intranet zone: https: //portal-ta.contoso.com
    I have enabled the feature using these commands:
    $contentService = [Microsoft.SharePoint.Administration.SPWebService]::ContentService
    $contentService.SupportMultipleAppDomains = $true
    $contentService.Update()
    Iisreset
    Then I do this:
    New-SPWebApplicationAppDomain -AppDomain app1.fabrikam.com -WebApplication https: //portal.contoso.com -zone default -port 443 –SecureSocketsLayer       (This command works)
    and then:
    New-SPWebApplicationAppDomain -AppDomain app2.fabrikam.com -WebApplication https: //portal-ta.contoso.com -zone intranet -port 443 –SecureSocketsLayer   (This one doesn’t)
    Then we get this powershell error in RED:
    New-SPWebApplicationAppDomain : The IIS Web Site you have selected is in use
    by SharePoint.  You must select another port or hostname.
    At line:1 char:1

       .SPCmdletNewWebApplicationAppDomain
    Extra info:
    I have tried using a single IP, multi IP, remove current IIS Binding, add the binding already etc. Nothing seems to work.
    When I change the PORT number of the second command to anything else it binds to the expected IIS Site but on the wrong port nr.
    The most strange thing also: I have a working set of VMs that actually works. I created a snapshot of the working situation. Reverted back to the before snapshot and tried to replay my steps but I keep running into issues when I try to add the second app-domain.
    Can anyone help me set this up.
    Thx
    Stefan Peters

    I was in the same situation with my on-premises environment. I did a little bit more investigation and checked the code behind New-SPWebApplicationAppDomain. I wrote a full article about this issue
    http://www.vioreliftode.com/index.php/new-spwebapplicationappdomain-the-iis-web-site-you-have-selected-is-in-use-by-sharepoint-you-must-select-another-port-or-hostname/
    I also provided a way to bypass the limitation and be able to reuse the 80 and 443 ports for multiple app domains.

    The SharePoint 2013 farm is updated through the September 2014 PU (KB2995902).  Topology: 1 App, 2 WFEs.  Workflow Manager 1.0 installed to the App server.  Workflow Manager 1.0 cumulative updates one
    and two have not been installed.  The Service Bus Gateway and Service Bus Message Broker services are started.  The Workflow Manager Backend service can be started, but then quickly stops.
    Thoughts?  Resolution?  I would be grateful for any assistance.

    Hi Stephan,
    As I understand, you are encountering the issue that Workflow Manager Backend service terminating each time. May I know did you run the update cmdlets after you installed the updates for SharePoint server 2013? Please confirm it per the link below:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn133867.aspx
    If you haven’t run the updates cmdlets, I suspect this is an install issue. I’d suggest you re-install workflow manager to resolve the issue:
    1) Leave WFM/SB Farm
    2) Uninstall updates and application in the following order and one at a time:
    Service Bus CU1
    Workflow Manager CU1
    Service Bus 1.0
    Workflow Manager 1.0
    Workflow Manager Client 1.0
    Microsoft Windows Fabric
    3) Log into SQL server and delete Service Bus and Workflow Manager databases.
    SBManagementDB
    SBGatewayDB
    SBMessageContainer01
    WFManagementDB
    WFInstanceManagementDB
    WFResourceManagementDB
    4) Install in the following order one at a time through Web Platforms Installer:
    Workflow Manager 1.0
    Service Bus 1.0 CU1
    Workflow Manager 1.0 CU1

  • How to get analytics reports programmatically in SharePoint 2013?

    In SharePoint 2010 it was possible to obtain data from web analytics programmatically using Microsoft.Office.Server.WebAnalytics.Reporting.AnalyticsReportFunction class.
    How can you get search reports programmatically in SharePoint 2013? Are there new assemblies or classes that can be used to obtain them?
    In my scenario, i am mostly interested in the most searched terms at web application or service application level.
    In SharePoint 2013 the Web Analytics Service Application was merged into the Search Service Application. It seems now that the old assemblies used for this (Microsoft.Office.Server.WebAnalytics.dll
    and Microsoft.Office.Server.WebAnalytics.UI.dll) are not available any more.
    They are available in the user interface as Excel reports, in CA->Application Management->Manage Service Applications->Search Service Application->Usage Reports , but I am interested to obtain these reports programmatically.
    Is this scenario still supported in SP 2013?

    try this
    using (SPSite site = new SPSite(MainBUPageUrl))//open root
                            using (SPWeb web = site.OpenWeb())
                                AnalyticsReportFunction AnalyticReport = new AnalyticsReportFunction(); //create object of analyticsReport
                                Thread.CurrentPrincipal = new WindowsPrincipal(WindowsIdentity.GetCurrent());//this is used only
    in timer job if not used then GetWebAnalyticsReportData will not work
                                object[,] result = null;
                                    web.AllowUnsafeUpdates = true;
                                   result = AnalyticReport.GetWebAnalyticsReportData(SiteCollurl, "2", ReportType.TopDestinationForSiteReport.ToString(),
    DateTime.Today.AddDays(-3.0), DateTime.Today); //this gives top visitor for provided site collection by providing time duration(start and end date),report type and url
                                    SPList list = web.Lists.TryGetList("AppreciationsList");//list
                                    for (int counter = 0; counter < 10; counter++) //show top ten pages
                                        Item = list.AddItem();
                                        s_count = result[rcount, 1].ToString(); //code
    to get top vistor usage count
                                        Username = result[rcount++, 0].ToString();//get
    top vistor name
                                        user = null;
                                        try
                                            user = web.EnsureUser(Username);//check
    user available?
                                        catch (Exception)
                                            counter--;
                                            continue;
                                        IfExist = checkUserExistence(user);//call the
    function   // IfExist = false; //this flag is used to check existence of user in insightMember group
                                        if (IfExist == true)//if user is not in the insight2
    group member list
                                            Item["Appreciated Person"]
    = user;
                                            Item["Title"] = s_count;
                                            Item.Update();
                                        else //if user is in the insight2 group member
    list
                                            counter--;
                                            continue;
                                  web.AllowUnsafeUpdates = false;

  • Аdding department export data from a survey list from user profile services in Sharepoint 2013.

    When voting, survey Sharepoint 2013, there is a field created by whom. But the name is not enough. Necessary to add the department name of the profile data in the exported list excel.

    Hi,
    The OOTB feature “Export to Spreadsheet” won’t contain the department in the exported report, we will need to create a custom one programmatically.
    We can use SharePoint Object Model to retrieve the data from the Survey and the User Profile Service, then generate an Excel Spreadsheet with the data we need.
