Investigative Case Management Analytics in SAP BW
There does not appear to be standard BW business content extractors (datasources) available for ICM in BW7. Has anyone implemented ICM with requirements for analytics in BW?
Could you tell me whether you had to develop custom extractors/datasources?
The alternative to creating custom datasources seem to be extensive enhancements to standard SAP datasources.
Please advise how you extracted ICM data into BW. Thank you.
Hello Sridevi,
I do not think that objects created in CRM would automatically gets uploaded to ERP.
You may have to upload them manually, by using 'Transfer to ERP' button in txn:COMMPR01 or for Web UI.
Also, please make sure that in the customizing,
SPRO>IMG>CRM>Master Data>Products>Settings for Product Type>Allow upload for a Product Type.
is checked for your object type.

These objects are not available in the COMMPR01 nor they are individual objects. Standard Business Content & Data Targets for Case Management & CRM Survey
Dear Friends,
We are implementing CRM2007 with BW3.5 for reports for CRM Analytics. We require to Identify the Standard Data Targets & Standard Business Content (Reports) available for the following:
1. Case Management
2. CRM Survey (We have already been able to identify Data targets in BW3.5 for Web Survey & in CRM 2007 we have been able to identify Data targets for CRM Survey, as well as Web Survey. Our requirement is identifying Data Target for CRM Survey)

Update manager in IdM automatically when the manager changes in SAP HR
Hi Experts
I have been given a requirement where the manager of a user in IdM should be updated automatically when the manager changes in SAP HR.
The HR extraction job is currently in place and runs every 30mins.
Please could you give me some ideas on how to implement this.

I have been discussing this a bit more in detail with the client. So, the issue is as follows
When a new/replacement manager is hired
When people are moved from one org unit to another
The scheduled extraction job (RPLDAP_EXTRACT_IDM with a variant with the delta tick on) does not update the new manager info in IDM for the relevant users who report to that manager. The client has to run the program (RPLDAP_EXTRACT_IDM with a variant with the delta tick off) manually each time for the affected users which updates the manager info successfully in idm.
I investigated the query LDAP_IDM_QUERY from user group /SAPQUERY/L1 and want to know if the below should be ticked as well. Your thoughts please?

Workflow completed. Design Time stores records to Case Management.
Can someone please tell me steps to access the record and change a field value?
I also want to attach another attachment to the process to be stored with the original attachments.
So far I am poking around in SCASE transaction.
I am able to search for processes and steps but when I click a line I have no auth to change the record.
BASIS helped me and checked - doesn't look like I'm missing auth, but maybe usung SCASE wrong?

However I can't edit the record when I get down to it. The Change (pencil button) is grayed out.

We are using CRM 5.0 on SAP Netweaver 2004s
In the PCUI application for case management, Whnever the application is called it takes 30 seconds to load the application, when a new case is to be created the time consumed is 100 seconds ?
Note : This only happens with case management related transactions.
Is there a way to increasde the performance of the application ?

Importance of Bounce management functionality in SAP CRM

I want to discuss few interesting issues which I have come a cross while doing a setting for bounce management functionality in SAP CRM 7.0
Before sharing my experience I want to discuss some term related to Bounce email than will discuss about types of bounce emails and cause of the bounce email.The setting of bounce functionality is describing in below link .

In general when a website visitor sigh up they receive email from the company site, the information the site collected saved in the database but It commonly happen some of your email will be undeliever. In marketing term we say it as 'Bounce'. this is the same way happen as when a person give a bank cheque to bank and don't have sufficient money to his/her account the bank people say the cheque got bounce ..
As we are aware emails are bounce for variety of reason such as.
- In case the recipient email address is invalid.
- recipient email address is inactive or closed
- recipient mailbox is full or mail server have some technical issue etc
In general all these bounces emails categorize in two category.
Hard bounce- When email address is not active. example wrong email address, email address de-activated, deleted,or closed
Soft bounce- recipient mailbox is full, mail server have some technical issue, Out_of_office is setup .
Now finally we come to know about the cause of bounce email and types. Now the question arises why this is so important when we have bounce management functionality active in sap crm marketing ? as described in above url.
suppose that there is a campaigning happening for an product where 3000 person visited it. Now incase 2000 visitors shown interest so have qualified as prospect bases on the information they have provided such as name, address, salary or employment detail.
After successfully execution of campaign now senior executives create a mailing list for all the prospects in the target group of campaign and sends email to all the users.Now if I say to how many customers really company have reached reached after campaign execution answer will be we can not have the correct fact and figure as there could be some bounce happened.
Now incase bounce management setting is configure in your CRM system than system will receive inbound e-mails for each bounce.Suppose we have received one thousand bounce emails than we would say actual customer contacted is 1000. this is the correct fact and figure and very much useful for marketing people.
After than executive could remove email address which were hard bounced and for soft bounce they can use some other channel to contact like telephone calls etc to reach them.
The correct facts and figures are very much important for marketing strategy and planning and also to know success level of each campaign. Assume a scnario where in day a company launches more than 5 campaign. I feel the importace is transparent now.

Can you try the following BAPI - BAPI_CRMCASE_CREATE from the Function Group - CRM_CMG_BAPI. I guess this will at least give you some idea as to how to proceed. Also, have a look at the Function Module documentation which will give you an idea of the sample code.
You can also have a look at the following Class Method - cl_crm_cmg_manager=>create_case. I found this in CL_CRM_CMG_IL which is the SAP CRM 6.0 Genil Component Class.

ICWC - define filters for case management 5.0
If I want to limit the Cases linked objects and logs to BP's, sales order, & service tickets are the proper setting.
1. SPRO > interaction center webclient > business transaction > case management > define filters for displaying case detail.
2. Define filter = ZTEST,
enter any heading descriptions 1- 5
Navigation = RecFolderToRecordDetail
3. Assign element types, add entries
CRM_BUSINESS_PARTNER
CRM_SALES_TRANSACTION
CRM_SERVICE_TRANSACTION
Can BOL type, description, path to bol 1, path to bol 2, etc all stay blank? to default to SAP functionality?
4. Define Filter profile = ZTEST1
5. assign filter ZTEST1 = ZTEST
Step #3 is the one I want to be sure I understand. Will rewards points.
6. assign the filter in a different SPRO entry.I'm guessing zdefault had same description default and it was picking up the default one in error.

Authorisation object for Case Management
Hi Gurus.
I need to create authorisation object for Case Management,
SCMG_T_CASE_ATTR-CATEGORY Field,SCMG_CATEGORY element,
I use the tx SU21 and Su20, asigned this object to Role. But no WORK.
In the Su20:
Field Name: ZCATEGORY
Data elelment: SCMG_CATEGORY.
Table Name: SCMGATTR_CATEGO.
In the SU21:
Object: ZCASE
Class: AAAB
Field Name:
ACTVT
ZCATEGORY
When I use tx SCASE, The condition not work.
I use the field name ZCATEGORY because the field name CATEGORY was used by SAP. But for USC_Y_CONT_CATEGORY element

Go to SU24 tcode and see if the transaction SCASE is being check/maintaned to the authorization object ZCASE.
If not then you need to do that so that when you add the tcode SCASE to a role then you will see the authorzation object ZCASE which you have created. You can edit the role and change the authorizations for the field, ZCATEGORY and maintain.
Generate the role and then assign it to the user. I think it must work.
If it doesnot work then as Alex said, you need to go and look where the Authority check statement is placed in the program behind the SCASE tcode.

Case Management | Recreating a case for same BP
Hello Guru's,
I have created a case for the blocked business partner which was rejected and BP is still in blocked stage. Now business wanted to create a new case for the same BP.
While creation of the case, system conveys that the case is already exist for the given business partner and workflow is not getting triggered as the workflow status is in completion status.
How to retrigger the case for already processed case? How to change the status of case from Rejected to approved or vice versa.

I am working to configure Case Management to work with GTS. I have made what I believe are the correct configuration settings under Process Route and Case Types in the IMG for Case Management, and have activated it for SAP GTS. The guide recommends that you leave the default settings for most of the config, which I have. However, when I try to create a case I receive the message "No process route model could be determined".
Can you share the detailed steps in sequence to set up case management?

you just create an action profile and within the action profile you give your processing type as smartforms
your path in IMG will be like:
SPRO--->CRM->BASIC FUNCTIONS--> ACTIONS---> ACTIONS IN TRANSACTIONS
and within the smart form description you can mention your class ,the smartform you have created etc.
after you are done with the action profile you attach this action profile to the transaction you are working on
also in the action condtion you give the condition as open
as you have requirement that when case is open the smartform is escecuted,likewise you can schedule your conditoon and therein it can be
BUSINESSOBJECT.USERSTATUS = E0001
its just an example with which you can give the condition
