Is using a proxy with Skype secure?

As in, would I have to worry about the data being comprimised/etc if the proxy was devious.

I tried that just after I posted my first message and forgot to update the post. That does not work either. I am starting to believe that this is a problem with the Apache SOAP traffic. I think it might be something with the configuration of Apache SOAP. I will look into it. In the meantime here is all the code. This is sample code from a tutorial on developerworks at IBM. I modified it to work with the proxy.
