Items Search List error

Hallo Experts
After 2007 Upgrade Items search list ( in a document or directly in Item master screen).
The customers search list is ordered by description.
When typing 'P' in the Find field the system goes to the last Item starting with 'N' and not items starting with 'P'. All other letters in the alphabet works fine. I have changed the last item starting with an 'N' but then it just highlights the next 'N' item.
Any sugestions will be much appreciated.

Hi Erika ,
All your thread are related with your upgrade scenario.
I think your upgrade didn't go well. Probably you need to do the upgrade again .
I guess you have to do reupgrade .
You might have to log a support to SAP for further instruction .

Hi Adithi,
dialogColumns don't know a child called 'ListBox'.
You can use 'dropdowns' instead as you did in 'var styles = dropdowns.add({stringList:styleList,selectedIndex:0,minWidth:133});':

Item level ststus not showing search list for agent inbox

Find and item Search not working inside custom list in sharepoint 2013

In Sharepoint 2013 , i configured the Search. it is working in home page search Box and Find item search box inside custom list as well But one particualr custom list Find an item is not working. Any clue ?Thanks in Advance

Hi,
According to your description, my understanding is “find an item” search box in a custom list not work in your environment.
As search box and “find an item” search box in your home page are working, so the search service application is working.
Do you have any customzation to the particular custom list ?
If No, I suggest you can full crawl the data in Central Administration ->Manage Service Application->” Search Service Application”-> Manage Content Sources” to test if it works.
Also, please check if you have set "Allow items from this list to appear in search results" in list settings->Advanced Setting to true

'Find an Item' search on list with more items than view limit

Hello all
The 'Find and Item' search on a list with more items than the view limit appears to filter results according to where you are in that list. So if I search on the allitems page displaying items 1-100 I get hits from the entire list. But if I arrow
through to view items 201-300 and repeat the same search only items from 201 to the end of the list are returned
I'm assuming this is not how it should work i.e. it should always return results from the whole list. Is there a way to make that so (other than increasing the view limit to something huge so that all items are always displayed)

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that Find an item Search box in List didn't returned any results.
The problem is due to a difference between the Content Source defined for the crawl and the default zone defined in the Alternate Access mapping.
You need to change the Alternate Access Mapping configuration.

Can Users have their unique Form Settings for the List of Items (Item Search)?

When any user add and remove columns for the List of Items (Item Search) via Form Settings, these changes are automatically updated for all SAP users.
Is there any way we that each user have their own unique List of Items form settings?
This is important as users for different departments will be need to see different information as they are searching for Item Master records.

This is not Possible.
Form Setting of Item Master Data will apply for all Users.
For all Users different Form Settings not Possible but you can guide your users to see while Searching Master Data.

Cannot get more than 8 item in list component

If you're asking if you can do this in the same context, off-screen, no you still get the same error as the .enabled property.
I hate to throw a hunch but I feel as though Adobe is employing something I'm used to in native iOS programming (Apple Devices). In lists they have something called "dequeue". It's the reason an extremely long list scrolls smoothly. What it does is render ONLY the rows that are in view. When a row is about to scroll off view it deallocates it from memory and then recreates the next row. They do this so you only ever have the current amount of viewable rows in memory and it speeds up scrolling. Although, I can make property changes to items in an iOS list that's off-screen so they don't have this issue ;(. Just food for thought.
I'd submit it to the bugbase and see what Adobe states. They may say they intend you to get the item in view, alter it and then go back to your previous position. That would be silly but at most I can tell you I definitely get errors trying to access an element outside my view. They're probably not used to items needing visual toggles when you can't even see them.

On a further note I tried the scrollToIndex() method, tried to disable, that much worked fine. The second I then scrolled back to the previously selected index the list screwed up.
I even daisy chained functions a second apart (30 frames worth of wait). I scrolled down and that worked so I waited 1 second. I disabled the visible item I wanted to and that worked so I waited another second. I scrollToIndex(0) to get back to the top of the list, the list blew up. Random items (several items) were disabled and the one that I explicitly disabled was enabled.

Spotlight, Privacy List Errors, and Ineffective sudo commands

I've been having an issue with Spotlight recently. Basically, it was/is not indexing correctly/at all.
My current situation: Spotlight does not display search results for anything but definitions. No Applications. No Folders. No Files. Nothing. I've attempted several things to remedy this issue.
For instance, I've tried adding and removing my HD from the Spotlight preferences under System Preferences. I receive the Privacy List Error: The item couldn't be added or removed because you don't have the appropriate permissions.
So I read more around the interweb/community and find several suggested sudo commands that may help. I've tried:
sudo launchctl unload -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.metadata.mds.plist
sudo launchctl load -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.metadata.mds.plist
sudo mdutil -a -i off
sudo mdutil -a -i on
These do not seem to work.
A possibly unrelated issues is that my TimeMachine (using an external drive) has spot backing up. It'll just sit there with the "preparing backup" message and never go anywhere beyond that.
I've tried my luck trying to interpret a lot of the more technical vernacular on my own, but to no avail of my issue. Thus, I am trying a more direct approach. Any assistance you could provide in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Vendor open items aging list - Reg.

Hi,
My client is requesting a transaction in SAP which can be used to produce a Vendor open items aging list and the output should be exactly the same as it is for the Customer open items aging List (transaction S_ALR_87012178). Moreover, It is essential for him to have only one line per vendor. He does not want to find a report in the accounts payable side that looks like the one which he mentioned for the accounts receivable side.
Since this is an urgent ticket, can any body help me in this regard.

You can customize the vendor report to show the items overdue per vendor by using the following steps
1. Create a form using T Code - FKI4
In this form ( two-axis structure) provide the details for each column as per your Client requirement - Due from 0 - 30 days
etc. You can create a column (using formula method) at the end by adding the previous columns, this will give you total
amount of overdue items for each vendor
2. Create a report using T Code - FKI1
Based on the Form created in the above step. Make additional selections based on client requirements like document type,
company code, account type, currency etc. Execute the report.

Address list error -- 5.7.1 Relaying not allowed

Hi,
We have setup the Java Messaging Server to send/recieve mails from a gateway. The inbound mail flow works perfectly but, the outbound mail flow has issues.
The outbound mails are not hitting the gateway. When checked the log for outbound mail, it displays the address list error - 5.7.1 Relaying not allowed for any domain i.e gmail.com, etc

i have already setup the messaging server 6 months back.. followed the same procedure to route mails to a gateway..
made changes to the imta.cnf for outbound mail flow to the tcp_local and mappings file to accept inbound mail flow from the gateway. Its working perfectly on the older setup, but this now, have issues with new setup.

<IMTA_TABLE:mappings.localewe are able to receive mails from the gateway, but when using uwc to send the mail, the mail doesnt hit the gateway. trying a telnet from the messaging server to the gateway, works perfectly.

Delete button not enabled on Inbox Search List

We are using CRM 2007 sp4. In one of our Web Interaction Centers we want to allow certain end users the ability to delete certain transactions from the inbox search list. At present when an item in the result list on the inbox [Component ICCMP_INBOX (Inbox Items)] the delete button is not enabled whilst the Edit, Display and Interact are all enabled. how do we enable the delete button.

Using API to run Catalog Bulk Load - Items & Price Lists concurrent prog

Hi everyone. I want to be able to run the concurrent program "Catalog Bulk Load - Items & Price Lists" for iProcurement. I have been able to run concurrent programs in the past using the fnd_request.submit_request API. But I seem to be having problems with the item loading concurrent program. for one thing, the program is stuck on phase code P (pending) status.
When I run the same concurrent program using the iProcurement Administration page it runs ok.
Has anyone been able to run this program through the backend? If so, any help is appreciated.

Basically this is what I am trying to achieve.
1. Create a staging table. The columns available for it are category_name, item_number, item_description, supplier, supplier_site, price, uom and currency.
So basically the user can load item details into the database from an excel sheet.
2. use the utl_file api, create an xml file called item_load.xml using the data in the staging table. this will create the xml file used to load items in iprocurement and save it in the database directory /var/tmp/iprocurement This part works great.
3. use the api fnd_request.submit_request to submit the concurrent program 'Catalog Bulk Load - Items & Price Lists'. This is where I am stuck. The process simply says pending or comes up with an error saying:
oracle.apps.fnd.cp.request.FileAccessException: File /var/tmp/iprocurement is not accessable from node/machine moon1.oando-plc.com.
I'm wondering if anyone has used my approach to load items before and if so, have they been successful?

Strange bug, items in list boxes disappearing

First of all this is my first post here ever. If its a wrong forum, sorry.
So ever since I installed Windows 8.1 here (fresh install), I have this strange bug were items in list boxes start disappearing when you open a window with them.
It didn't bother me much but now its horrible when I wanted to switch my playback device... Or if you want to change IP settings on my network adapter.
The thing is it all happens in a very short period of time so it took me a while to get screens of it and here they are:
