Itunes shows that I have 2 free Gigs on my iphone (with music included) but won't let me sync my music because it says it's full.
I am trying to sync 1900 songs onto my iphone 5 which is 16 gigs. The coloured bar that shoes when syncing my iphone with itunes shows 1.68 free Gigs (with my music included), but when I press sync i receive this: "The iPhone “iPhone” cannot be synced because there is not enough free space to hold all of the items in the iTunes library (additional 4.55 GB required).". Any Advice?

I downloaded the OS X on my air and I can't use my keyboard and it won't let me restart my computer because it says that the application assistant canceled the shut down, I don't know what to do
When all else fails (it sounds like it has) hold the power button for about 10 seconds. This shuts down the computer. Then tap it to restart. Since it sounds like the OS upgrade began but then failed to perform a restart you may find that the Install Mavericks file is still in the Applications folder and you can try again. Or you might find that you have to redownload. I don't think the installation is going to proceed as if the computer had successfully restarted but I could be wrong (and in this case gladly so for your sake.)

i have games on my computer that i did not put there.how do i delete them. now i can't sync anything because it says it is full.
What version iPod do you have? If it is an older click-wheel mode and the games that came with it then there is no way to delete them but they take up very little space.

ITunes shows that I have more music than I actually do
OK, so when I go to check out how many gigs of music I have on my Macbook through iTunes it says I have 834 songs or about 10 gigs of music, but when I click get info on iTunes in Finder it says that I have over 3,000 items that take up 20 gigs. Why does my music take up twice as much space as it should?
I've searched everywhere too for a solution and I finally caved in and restored my phone after backing up all of my photos to iPhoto. It's a pain, but it freed up about 6GB on my phone.

ITunes recognizes iPhone but won't let me sync.
I have an iPhone 5c and when I plugged it in to sync iTunes recognizes the phone, but the little phone icon is grayed out and I can't click it. I can't access any of the sync settings or the sync button. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling itunes but that didn't work.
using windows, iTunes 12, ios 8.1I shut down my computer for a few hours (after already trying uninstalling iTunes and restarting my computer several times with no results) and then plugged in my phone and it miraculously works. Glad iTunes is working like it should but it's so frustrating when there's not a clear solution.

I imported some movies from my external hard drive, and I cant change them to movies. I know you have to click on video and selct info, but i cant select movie its like shaded out and i cant click it?

My daughter is 13 yrs old. She was born in August 1997. When I tried to set up her itunes account, I mistakenly typed in the year of my son's birthday which is 1999....which would make her too young. When I tried to create the account again, with the correct year of 1997, it is giving me a message that it "does not meet the minimum age requirements". But it does. What do I do to fix this? I got her the Ipod for her birthday and haven't given it to her yet and I wanted to get some songs on it for her before I gave it to her. What can I do?

I purchased a new computer and transferred all my itunes music by copying the music and transferring to new computer. When I try to sync my ipod, itunes
says that I already have another computer. The other computer no longer exists. How do I rid the identity of the old computer?If the Erase and Sync option does appear when this prompt comes up, restore the Nano to factory settings and then resync all your content back over to it from your new iTunes library. This process will allow the iPod to associate itself with the new library.

it says that it will delete all non itunes purchased music on my phone as my phone is already set up with another computer (the old one !).

My computer that I originally set up with I Tunes crashed. I bought a new laptop and tried to sync my phone and save all info to new computer. I'm being told that I can't sync on more than one computer. HOw do I switch to new computer?

You need to free up more storage space. To download and install an app it take between two and three times the file download size. You need between 3.2 and 4.8 free.
