JWSDP - configuration error in using wscompile.bat to generate WSDL

Hello all,
I am new to JWSDP and am trying to generate a WSDL and jaxrpc mapping for my EJB SEI. I'm using JWSDP 1.4 and my interface has simple String datatypes as arguments. I'm getting the following error when I try to use wscompile.bat:
error: only one configuration file can be specified: config.xml
Usage: wscompile [options] configuration_file
Use "wscompile -help" for a detailed description of options.I'm using the command as follows:
wscompile -cp C:\temp\lib\client.jar;C:\jboss-4.0.2\server\all\lib\jboss-j2ee.jar -gen:server -f:rpcliteral -mapping jaxrpc-mapping.xml config.xml(client.jar contains the interface, and since it extends javax.ejb.EJBObject, I also included jboss-j2ee.jar in the CLASSPATH). My config.xml looks as follows:

Apparently for JWSDP, the command needs to be issued as follows:
wscompile -cp "C:\temp\lib\client.jar;C:\jboss-4.0.2\server\all\lib\jboss-j2ee.jar" -gen:server -f:rpc
literal -mapping jaxrpc-mapping.xml config.xml(Notice the quotes around the CLASSPATH)
Hope this helps someone else.

When I use wscompile to generate the client stub, I get the follwoing error:

he already restored 30%, so I think we can safely assume at least some stuff did work.
Allthough I agree that since the controlfile is saved last, this is a good test.
Seems to be either a dirty tape (clean drive, repeat) or a faulty backup ( ugh ).
When you retry after cleaning, you can use -f (fillup) to save the restore from retrieving the files it allready got.
Check the initSID.sap for the backup & restore commands and esp. the bs= / ibs= / obs= options.

Generating WSDL using wscompile???URGENT!!

I am new to the wsdl and I am trying to use a rmi interface to generate a wsdl file and other server artifacts using wscompile. All of my files are in the trial directory.

when I use wscompile -gen:server -cp . config.xml
I get a few InvocationTargetException and after about 4-5 of these it reveals that it ic being caused be a NoClassDefFoundException Monitor wrong name (monitor/Monitor)
The monitor/Monitor appears nowhere in my code and the monitor directory doesn't exist.
If I leave out the classpath option I get a NoClassDefFoundException Monitor.
I am building from my src directory and don't really know what I am doing wrong. Getting this to work makes a huge impact on my project ie. go no-go.

I got this working this morning. The trick is in the file structure. When I got the error about class not found it gave me a weird naming that didn't exist in my file structure. Well after thinking about it and getting nowhere this naming was followed in my file structure and I got the WSDL.

Windows has detected a registry/configuration error

I haven't used my Protege 3110CT in many years. When I start to boot up I get the message:
Warning: Windows has detected a registry/configuration error. Use SCANREG to correct this error.
However, I cannot get into DOS to do a SCANREG nor do I know any other method.
I do not have any of the startup disks.
My machine has Windows ME on it.
I do have an external floppy drive and CD drive.
Any assistance is appreciated.

go back to a previous known working copy of your Windows Me registry.

Web service deployment using generated wsdl

Hi,
As u know app server is generating the wsdl and mapping files in deployment time if you dont include these files in the archive.
What i m trying to do is to use the pregenerated wsdl and mapping file in the archieve, i don't want app server to generate wsdl and mapping. I'm generating these files in build phase and placing them under META-INF folder of resulting jar file.
And i expect oc4j to use these supplied files but it continues to generate and uses the generated.
(I'm using wsa.jar to generate wsdl, mean i'm generating in oracle way, not other tool)
(I dont want to use the auto generated wsdl cause i need to update them before deployment. Auto generated wsdl have data definition with object graphs which is not supported by document-literal message format. i will try to clean object graph dependencies in wsdl and deploy) Or shall i use Rpc-Encoded which supports object graphs??

how can i deploy web service for a stateless session bean annotated with @webService annotations with supplied wsdl and mapping file in the ejb jar file...
(oc4j always generates a new wsdl,does;t use the one given in the jar)

Hi, My laptop containing Adobe CS5 recently crashed. I do not have the serial as this was activated at my school and they only do it once for everyone. What I did was to take the HDD out and put it onto my PC and try to use the application from there, a method which worked before on other applications, but when I wanted to load up dreamweaver and any other applications in the suite it failed to load and popped out the following message:

Can anyone help me out? I don't have the serials nor the CD to reinstall so I'm practically stuck and I cant afford to buy the thing again.

Adobe applications simply don't work that way. Installation puts software and configuration information not only in application-specific directories under \program files\, but also in system directories. As such, Adobe application installations are not portable.
Unfortunately, in order to re-install your software, you will need to go back to your “school” for installation media and serial number information since the software was licensed through them and not directly via Adobe.

IP Configuration Error - IP address in use by another device

My parents' have set up a wirless netwrok in their home but are experiencing a IP configuration error.
They have Cable Broadband going into a cable modem. The modem is connected to a DLINK router via ethernet. The router has an ethernet connection to one computer (PC running Windows 2000) and an ethernet connection to a NETGEAR Wall-Plugged Ethernet Bridge XE102 which provides a wireless connection for an iMac G5 in another room.
The PC and the iMac are able to connect to the Internet without any problems. However, my PowerBook can see the NETGEAR network but it can access the Internet through it. The following error message keeps popping up:
IP Configuration Error
192.168.0.100 in use by 00:13:46:6d:26:11, DHCP SErver 192.168.0.1.
I read some previous posts that indicated it may be a problem with an IP address being assigned to a printer (and they do have an HP PSC connected by USB to the PC).
I can't seem to figure out how to free up the IP address. I checked the router settings and it is configured to assign more than just two or three.
Any ideas? Thanks in advanced.

Have you tried resetting your router and reseting your cable modem this should Asign all new IP address to all of the Computers on the network.
To reset your modem unplug it and leave it out for about 3 min and then replug it and the router should either have a reset button on it or from your computer you should be able to reset it.
I think your going to need to change your IP address but try resetting everything first.

Receiver File Error while using Dynamic Configuration

Hi All,
My Scenario is from SAP IDOC --> PI --> FIle...
In the mapping i have used the dynamic variable substitution for the receiver file....
The Dyanamic file will be alwasy generated irrespective of the condition for the Mapping...
Now Whenever SAP sends IDOC then file to be created . If the condition is met then there is no problem the file is being created...
But if condition is not met then the error is being thrown in the Communication Channel...
Error occurred while connecting to the FTP server "10.1.999.222:21": java.lang.Exception: Exception in XML Parser (format problem?):'java.lang.Exception: Message processing failed in XML parser: 'Conversion configuration error: Unknown structure '' found in document', probably configuration error in file adapter (XML parser error)'
Note the payload has the dyanmic file generated....
And when i tested the mapping by coping the payload then
I am getting the target with empty ...but with MT_ProductMaster node...

of course you will get error in content conversion if file is missing any of the parameters expected by FCC.
Right now the Content conversion is expecting several values in your payload(even if blank values) but you don't have any of them hence you get this error.
If you want to deliver empty file,you need to map all the receiver side nodes to some default,so that it is populated to that default (could be blank) if no values are present,then when this comes to content conversion,it will assume the blank value as node and do correct conversion.
If you dont have values in payload but have specified parameters for it on content conversion,then you will get errors as you mentioned in your first post.

Getting Error in setting configuration of iPod using OS X Server Profile Manager

We are getting error when we are trying to configure the iPods using Profile Manager. Please let me know what is causing for this kind of error. Please see in attachment.

We have device groups, once the device have been enrolled we then move to a pre-configured profile which sets up items such as wifi, e-mail and passcpde etc all in one go, this has had mixed results, I've now setup profile groups for each item to give us more control over only given the user what they need instead on forcing everything, this resolved my item above but more testing is needed, the main issue has been trying to pass a pre-owned device to a new user as it seems to remember the pervious user in some cases, this is why I asked about if it was possible to delete device history.

I've copied a .NET application from an older 2008 server running IIS 7.0.600.16386 to a newer 2008 R2 server running 7.5.7600.16385. The .NET framework version is 4.0.30319. I've setup an application pool and copied the wwwroot directory.
I've checked for nested web.config files and I've been reading a lot about converting the site to an application. The older server running the application is still up and running and the configurations look identical. If I convert the site to an
application the icon changes and doesn't look like it does on the old server. I'm new and still learning the basics of programming and publishing applications. Can someone point me in the right direction? I've been on google for a few days

Cannot launch another application in Mac OS X 10.8 using NSWorkspace launchApplicationAtURL:options:configuration:error

I am launching another app using NSWorkspace launchApplicationAtURL:options:configuration:error.
The app is owned by root, has permission: rwx r-x r-x, and owned by root:wheel.
The app is also located in /Applications folder (e.g. /Application/MyApp.app).

I should be able to launch my app because the following condition is met:
The app is installed in /Applications and the app bundle and all contents are owned by root.
When launching the app, I get the following error:
"The application “MyApp” could not be launched because it is corrupt."
"The operation couldn’t be completed. (OSStatus error -10827.)"
Which is, according to the same link, the error when none of the conditions have been met.
Note that I am using Mac OS X 10.8. In Mac OS X 10.7.5, I don't encounter the same issue.
Note also that I am trying to run the app "MyApp" inside a sandboxed application.
I tried using 2 builds of "MyApp", but in both builds, the issue can be replicated:
Code-signed (using a self-signed certificate)
Not code-signed
What seems to be the problem? Am I missing something?

Yes, but it also says in the apple documentation that:
A sandboxed app is allowed to launch a helper using Launch Services if at least one of these conditions has been met
Even if I did not pass the condition:
Both the app and helper pass the Gatekeeper assessment. By default that means both are signed by the Mac App Store or with a Developer ID.
I am pretty sure that the following condition has been met:
The app is installed in /Applications and the app bundle and all contents are owned by root.

How do I start using CS6 on MacBook Pro (yosemite)? I'm getting a configuration error 16 message

I've used Carbon Copy Cloner to clone CS6 and lots of other Adobe programs onto a newer MacBook Pro (yosemite), and I'm getting a configuration error 16 message... tried making the Adobe PCD and the SLStore stuff "read & write" but no good. Any help would be great, thanks!

uninstall everything cs6 and then run the cleaner - Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6
then properly install your cs6 (do not clone/migrate/time machine/copy/etc) using the installation files.
