Lab/Office Wise Authorizations

Dear All,
can any tell me how to handle the Lab/Office Wise Authorizations.
i have search in pfcg no auth. obj. present for Lab/Office and i have also searched for user exit.
no user-exit found for this activity can anyone tell me how to handle this Authorizations control

Hi,
As such there is no authorization object for controlling lab/office.
If your requirement is such that there needs an authorization check then z-authorization object can be created for this through abapers and can be assigned to particular roles.

2.Can we restrict the Document Browser and Authorizations tab to Document type level?

In customization settings for Document Types, if we enter "Required Entry (+)" for labs/office and Auth group in the field selection, it will mandatorily ask to input these when you save a new document. If we donu2019t select anything, then it input to lab/office or auth group will not be asked.
Apart from "Required entry", there are 3 more options like "optional entry", "Suppressed Field and "Display field" which are used for different scenarios. Let me know if this answers your questions.

Use of define Lab/office

hi, all,
I have ceated five department using lab/office. also i have so many document types with respective departments.
ex: DAR [document type] belongs to Design department documents,
[DES] defined in lab/office for design department.
How could I establish relationship with DES as lab/office and respective documents with doc type.

The following table shows authorization object C_DRAW_TCS. This object controls which users can process which document info records, based on a combination of activity, document type, and status.
Authorization Object C_DRAW_STA (Document Status)
The following table shows authorization object C_DRAW_STA. This object controls which status(es) can be set for which document type.
Authorization Object C_DRAW_BGR (Authorization Group)
The following table shows authorization object C_DRAW_BGR. This authorization object allows you to limit access to individual documents.
Authorization Object C_DRAW_DOK (Document Access)
The following table shows authorization object C_DRAW_DOK. This authorization object controls which original data of a specific document type there are access authorizations for.
Authorization Object C_DRAD_OBJ (Object Link)
The following table shows authorization object C_DRAD_OBJ. This object controls which users can process which document info records, based on a combination of activity, object, and status.
these are the standard available authrixzation objects fro DMS, Lab office is not there in list, u need to bring lab office field in to authorization by following steps
1. Go to Su21 transaction and double click on CV(DMS)
2.U get std auth objects available for DMS, click on create new
3. Enter Object name as Z_DRAW_LAB
4. Enter auth fields
          1.Actvt for activity
          2.DOKAR for Doc type
           3. LABOR for LAb office
5. Click on permitted activities and check the activities u wanted and save
6. Now create Roles with help of PFCG t codes, go to authorization tab, click on auth data icon,select DMS, click on manually button, enter Z_DRAW_LABin field and enter, which will apper in ur list of auth objects.
7 Now choose lab office, here u can select document types and lab office, ex DRM DES in doc type filed and design in lab office field. This means DRM and DES will be created by only design dept person.
8. Now assign this roles to the user of design depts
9. like that u create different roles for each depts and assign to respective user
In this way u can control authorization WRT depts

Please send the Report for monthly sales(sales office wise,sales group wise,plant wise) with T.CODE.,

As per my knowledge there is no Standard Report in SAP based on sales office, sales group. and plant.
You may create your own report using MC18,MC21 and MC24.... Otherwise ask your ABAPer's help...

Security object for check against Lab office in DIR

Hi,
We are running R/3 46C and use DMS to store our business documents via online vault. I have a requirement to set up access based on Lab office (department) that is used in the Document Information Record. Is there a standard security object that I can use in security roles to build this.
Any info would be appreciated and rewarded.

Your best option would be to use a user exit, for example badi "document_main01" "before_save" to populate the auth. group field, and then use normal roles/profiles to check on auth. group.

Hi,
With the help of Abaper you can create a Z authorization object with field of WERKS and activity 01,02,03 ie create,change,Display.
The authorization object has to be called during the Save user exit during Sales order Processing. In standard SAP we have the authorization object M_MATE_WRK.
Either u can call tha authorization object in the exit or copy the object znd create your own authorization object.

I have a scenario where the business wants to announce the discounts fortheir customers sales office wise and Material Group wise.
But the the twist is they want Material Groups to be different from sales office to sales office.
How to map this different material group in every sales office?

Have the discount condition type for the combination of sales office and material group. You should be aware, one customer can be assigned to only one sales office and similarly one material group can be assigned to a material code.

Section Wise Authorization for automatic payment (F110)

Hi SAP Gurus,
Our client wants Section Wise authorization on Automatic Payment (F110). That is User A is authorized to make payments for the vendors which have open line items which has section XX. While User B is authorized to make payments for that particular vendors which have open line items which has section YY.
While execution F110 by User A, system will make payment for all those open items which has section XX. But, when User B is executing F110, system will make payment for all those open items which has section YY.
Please guide, how to achieve the results.

While executing F110, you can choose BSEG-SECCO in 'Field Name' field in 'Free Selection' tab and enter particular values for this field in Values field, i.e. XX or YY. That way, you can segregate payments. As far as authorization issue goes, check with your security consultant if particular users can be given authorization for F110 transactions for particular values of BSEG-SECCO field; I am sure this can be done in user authorization profile by the Security Team.

How to Project Code wise Authorization.

It is possible to do through SDK. although on a rather large scale. You need to establish an UDO idientify the userid with multiple project code, or project code with mulitple user ID. Then all the project code drop down inside SBO will need to be replaced by SDK to show only the project associated with current log in user id. To make it more complete, you need to establish error message in the SP_transactionnofication to hold the document if project code used (as they can still manually type in) is not usable by them!

Lab/Office: Need access to L/O- /BUA Contact Division

Hi,
When I try to create new material for new org structure (I created new company code, sales org, dist ch, division, etc.), it is giving this error - " Lab/Office: Need access to L/O- /BUA Contact Division(not helpdesk security) Mail subject LABCMD: Lab Access Master Data"
Can some one direct me how to resolve this issue?

In os26, you need to maintain Lab/Office data which has to be assigned in Basic Data1 of material master. Please check whether you have assigned.

The Integer type UDF is the answer.
If you have a large amount of values to convert, you might create a new Integer UDF ("UDF_INT"), and use a GlobalChange to move them. Example: where "UDF_NUM" is not equal to " ", "UDF_INT" = "UDF_NUM".
This will put your values in the new field without decimals.

Can anyone help me to know HOW CAN WE LOCK A LAB/OFFICE TO A PARTICULAR FILE TYPE SO THAT IT DOSEN'T GET INTO ANY OTHER LAB/OFFICE.

I want File Type TPT to go only to Lab 201 it should not accept any any other Lab/Office.

Sales planning as per sales person wise/Sales group wise/Sales office wise

we are having a querry like Sales Planning in Sales & Distribution:
Company need's to set targets based on Sales Office wise/Sales group Wise/Sales Person wise. Later on company will check target Sales, Planned Sales, Achieved Sales. So how can we achieve in Sales and distribution module wise.

Suppose a sales person is there in my company name as:X. His target for this financial year is Rs.10 Crores. For that he will give list of materials to achieve this target and quantities and tentative dates also for which materials he needs. So that my company will do proper planning for production also to supply these materials timely. for this Company needs to analyse what is the given target and acheved target and what are all the materials are sold with respect to quantity. what materials are not sold means dead stock. So that how can we solve this solution in SAP.

         I have a Issue for genrating sales order numbers With Alpha Numeric Number Ranges for sales office wise Internaly . How can we get this is there any Userexits or badi for this . If Any one Come across this issue plz guide me.
   The Alpha characters should not change that will be sales office region code. only the Numeric numbers should change .
Ex;   Abc-123000 to Abc-200000

This alpha-numeric format is not possible directly with SNRO settings.
You need to opt for external number range, and in the exit of your respective transaction you need to takecare of this number generation explicitly by programming.

1. goto include MV45AFZZ and to user exit Save_document This form is called before COMMITand double click on FORM USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT.
2.it will show the program MV45AF0B_BELEG_SICHERN from were this user exit is called, selcet the program and click on Display.
3. you can use the enhancement point enhancement-point beleg_sichern_01 spots es_sapmv45a. just below the PERFORM USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT to call the badi method on_costing_component.
