Lack of customer support after spending a year trying to activate CS3

I have been trying for over a year now to activate one of the Adobe products after my boss in England had mailed me a legal copy of CS3 so I could start work. Not only did all the programs not download correctly after taking several hours to download and many restless nights, but it also effected my registry keys and customer support would not assist me just because I do not live in England until I mentioned about calling the Better Business Bureau on them. They went through the steps of Adobe Clean Sweep and it still didn't work so I finally got a new hard drive and reinstalled Windows Vista and figured that it is better not dealing with the lousy customer support I felt I was entitled to.
Everything downloaded fine afterwards, but when I try to activate Adobe Photoshop now, it says that the maximum amount of activations have been reached and to delete Adobe off the other computer. I can not locate Adobe on my other hard drive (that is in the same computer) and this is really effecting my job. I will not recommend any Adobe products to anyone unless I can get some further help here.

Not that I know of. I believe I am the only one with the legal copy. I live in the U.S. but work for a man in the U.K., and that was why customer support in my area was telling me to contact the offices in the U.K. by phone, which I can not afford to do. My boss can't contact Adobe in the U.K. because he isn't sitting in front of my computer to go over step by step on what to do, so they basically said they couldn't help me and told me to follow the proceedures of KB401401 (whatever that is). I've tried installing the product myself several times and nothing worked until I repartitioned and reformatted everything.

    It sounds like you essentially have a new computer and unless you restored from a backup your iTunes library would be empty.  You can transfer your iTunes purchases from your iPod to the computer by:
    iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer
    SInce you changed syncing computers. after you move the stuff you need to restore the iPod to factory defaults and sync the stuff back to your iPod.  If you had the iPod backup file you could restore from backup.
    If you have non-iTunes pruchases you can copy them to your computer by using one of the third-party programs discussed in this previous discussion:

  • Lack of customer support follow up.

    I am facing a very large overage bill. I have called in 3 times to speak to customer service about it, have been promised follow ups 3 times, and never received a call back. 1st and 2nd occurrence were to be once monthly bill was processed. After no response for a month after bill cycle and I received my extremely large bill I called in again. This last occurrence I was promised a call back from a level 2 supervisor within 48 hours. This was a week ago.

    Update. After 4 calls to "customer support" and not getting a single follow up, I chose the billing option instead. Surprisingly, the rep was great. He started turning my experience with VZW around. Through other means I was able to speak to someone in a higher office, and at this point I am a happy customer. I still have some questions, but I understand why they can't answer them, and realize that the burden of proof falls on me. I find that unfortunate through. Your average consumer of this product is not going to have the know-how to trace and capture the traffic, and why should they? While they did make it right for me, this was a hard battle, and I still feel like I have to be on-guard constantly.

    I tried to cancel my subscription from Adobe. I was signed up using another website as i was trying to download a book and it took me to Adobe where I had to sign up. And of course it bills annually.
    It is hard to find how to cancel but when I finally did it suggests you can get a full refund if you go to Customer Support. A
    And where is it? Of course you cant find Customer Support can you?
    I think that you guys need to fix your act. Adobe is just a rip off.
    I have paid for previous help which never came also for being able to edit documents.

    I am sorry for being unable to able to contact Adobe support, the was cancelled on September 30, how ever the refund policy is that any purchase can be refunded only if returned within 30 days of purchase.
    This subscription was purchased on October 2013, hence I am sorry the refund can not be processed.

  • DISAPPOINTED AT THE LACK OF CUSTOMER SUPPORT IN TR...

    Hi all,
    I want to share my BT experience with you.   I have been up to now a happy BT Infitinty customer.   At the start of July I informed BT of a house move at the end of July.  I happily signed for a new package, NO BRAINER as far as I'm concerned.
    One specification of my order is as I was providing sufficient notice I advised them that whilst the postcode in question show's to part of a village which has Infinity, the house is isolated and presently does not have a phone line.  I advised a survey to carried out to enable the engineer to carry out the necessary work when I moved in.  The main reason for my request was I know it's a very poor reception area for mobile phones and presently my father is not very well and I need to be contacted.   On the day of moving in the engineer turns up, and guess what the necessary requirements which I made them aware of had not been carried out.    The engineer informed my that the road required traffic lights in order for me to have an installation.    I'm sure you can imagine my disappointment, especially when I knew this would be the case.
    Obviously I've spoken to numerous customer service advisors.   All giving me different reasons for the delay.  The main reason is for traffic management to get authorisastion off Flintshire County Council for permsission to put traffic lights up.   So, I phone up Flintshire County Council, and I must confess the lady was MOST helpful.  She informed me that NO application has been made for my house/postcode/road.  This, has tipped me over the edge.   I asked, if Bt had applied how long would it take for approval for them to carry out the necessary.  Her reply, 24 hours.
    I've now spoken to 4 different people over last 2 days.  Obviously highlighting what the Council have informed me.   Presently, I've been informed that my NEXT UPDATE (NOT INSTALLATION) is now the 20th August.  
    I've never had such poor customer service, from what I thought was a world leader in Telecommunications.  I find the who experience shocking.  And more importantly I'm still in a position where I'm concerned about my Father and been kept in touch.
    I, myself work for a BIG European Car Manfucaturer.  If I had treated anyone my customers in the way I've been treated I would have been sacked.
    All I want is to speak to someone in authority and I want a definitve date to when it WILL be done.   What I dont want is to be lied to and passed around from pillar to post.

    I agree in the lack of support and not only its that the lack of knowledge within the stupid call centres.
    it has been the most frustrating thing ever to try and explain to these idiots whats going on when all they do is ask you to unplug your modem etc before you even have the chance to tell them anything.
    I had an engineer out today he was here for three hours he fitted new equipment and left the house to go to the exchange box several times, he did everything he could and I was here when he made calls to try find out the problem. he got no joy and had to leave without setting up my broadband. I spent at least 4 to 5 hours calling B.T helplines etc only to find that they cant help in any way unless its to completely wind you up.
    the engineer explained everything was fine at this end and to contact B.T. since we have no dsl light on at all yet lines are working ok. I first had to wait in a queue for 30 mins then i told the man who answered the full story that we had no problem here but no infinity and engineer had to leave without setting it up. the man started prattling on about did i have my modem plugged in and what lights were on and did I try a reset!! "HELLOOOO" once again I said the engineer just left and its set up fine and there is no dsl light!! He then asks me if my phone line is working after I already told him I was calling from house phone and its working fine.
    He then tells me my infinity wouldnt be live until 12 midnight (alarm bells) this is what I had been told before and nothing happened until the following monday.
    He then told me he would put me through to someone who could resolve this, I said i didnt want to spend another day of my life on hold but he said no its an internal call and i would get straight through. However another 30 mins later after being on hold someone answers and asks what the problem is. I had gone back to the same call centre i was at in the first place. I was furious.
    I have spent the entire day trying to get this sorted out and all i have had is pathetic excuses and a help team that really can do nothing for anyone!! It seems they are only there to passify disgruntled customers pass you around their call centres taking the P*@$ winding you up and nothing more. If anything they make everything worse. terrible customer service and wouldnt reccomend to anyone especially if your easily stressed out.
    P.S its after 12 midnight and guess what...... yep still no service what a waste of time they are

  • How does one submit a complaint to Apple UK about a serious lack of customer support?

    The problem I'm having is finding an addess (e-mail, postal or phone) to complain to Apple about the abysmal customer experience I've had with them. I've been a loyal customer to Apple; having spent in excess of £10,000 over the past 10 years on content from their overpriced iTunes Store (that doesn't include the money I've spent on hardware purchases) and now their customer service is shocking!
    I've purchased seasons 1-10 of the TV series Friends and seasons 1-15 of TV series ER (in HD). I have receipts for all of these, and I've purchased iTunes Match. Since Apple decided to offer iTunes in the cloud, a most peculiar thing has happened. Friends seasons 1-10 all appear, except season 5. Likewise ER seasons1-15 all appear, except seasons 2-5. Now in my purchased section of the iTunes store, the same problem exists.
    OK? So its been over 12 months, I've submtted FOUR, thats 4, different attempts to get this problem with my iTunes store account resolved. They don't have a phone number you can call, so you can't ensure that the person understands what you mean. I have been completely ignored twice, given another download twice and still have no resolution to the problem I reported. What has realy annoyed me is the fact that because the guy got bored of dealing with me or whatever other reason, I was told to contact AppleCare, which I did - and granted the guy there was really good, but unable to deal with the issue as its an iTunes Store problem, not an Apple TV problem - so I'm left chasing my own tail.
    All I want is this problem resolved and then I'm going to go with someone else, because this is just rediculous. So does anyone know of a way to complain to Apple UK?

    Call Apple support, ask to speak with someone in Customer Relations, and explain the situation to the CR representative. Perhaps they can help.

  • Activation After C-Drive Crash - Customer Support Problems

    We are having a terrible time with Customer Service... I hope some folks might help lead us into the correct direction.
    I had a crash on my main computer where the C-Drive bit the dust.... and yes, it did not allow us to deactivate our copy of CS4 Master Collection.  Fortunately I do have my travelling copy on a small laptop.
    We installed a new C-Drive, but had to reinstall CS4... then the activation message reads that we have too many activations... and I know that, because one of them crashed.  We simply need the crashed copy to be deactivated, so that we can reactivate on the newly constructed C-Drive.
    My seventh (yes, 7th) phone call and over a culmulative hold time of over 9 hours (yes, 9 hours).  Over the span of two weeks, Customer Support tells me that their Activation Interface is not working (ugh!).  One person on the sixth call, this morning, transferred me to another Customer Support area where I was immediately put on hold for 2 hours and 9 minutes at which time the line went dead.
    I was told to install the copy and work through the 30 day trial period, but I'm now on 16 days left and Customer non-Support not able to to help me yet.
    Am I alone with my problem or or others having problems dealing with Customer Support?
    If other's are aware of similiar issues, could you help direct to alternate phone numbers, contacts, websites where I might be able to receive some support.  Spending another $2,500 on software just doesn't sound like a solution when I've been an Adobe user for almost a twenty years.

    Sorry, I cannot help you, but your problem is similar to the one I have. I used to run cs3 on a notebook only, toshiba qosmio g30. After severe troubles they changed the mainboard and the discs were formatted and during this long lasting service time I installed cs3 on a workstation just to go on with my projects. Now I want to reinstall it on the toshiba qosmio and I get the same license messages you mention in your posting.
    I asked adobe for help using the online support form but the did not anwer so far. I think that adobe did not even ignore my troubles, as the question I put did not lead to a new open case.
    Maybe I will make more use of the new microsoft products and other software as many things can be done without adobe as well. A couple of years ago I left quark (for adobe) and I do not miss quark so far (maybe they miss me as I was not the only one that went away).

  • Lack of customer service/support

    In May of 2011, I purchased a ThinkPad for my son to take to college.  With it, we paid extra for a warranty that we thought would ensure that he would be taken care of, if any problems with the computer came up.  In November, the computer ceased working and after three weeks of calling and waiting (and much frustration), a technician finally came out and made a repair.  Unfortunately, after one day, the computer once again ceased to work.  This time, it was not even possible to run the diagnostics because the computer would not even boot up.  Again, I placed a phone call to the customer support number, hoping to have a resolution before finals started.  A case number was assigned and I was given the name of the "Escalation Specialist" who I was told would be calling me in 24-48 hours. While I tried to be patient, there was no call and so after almost a week, I tried calling the Escalation Specialist.  Instead of reaching him, I was greeted with a message that his voice mailbox was full, so I could not leave a message.  The recording said that I could be transferred to an operator if I pressed the # sign, but when I did that, I was told that this was not an option available to me.  When I called customer support/service back to let them know this, I was told that I should stop calling because each time I called, I was being moved down in the list of people to receive return calls.   Wow!  is this what customer service has come to?  Since then, I did call the Escalation Specialist again and left a message requesting a return call.  Again, no call back.  So, I have yet to even speak with this "Escalation Specialist". 
    If I had only known that Lenovo does not stand behind the products or warranties that it sells, I would never have purchased a computer from them.  Instead, my son went through his first round of college finals without access to a computer, and I am left with tremendous frustration that we now are sitting with a computer that does not work and are at the mercy of a company that clearly does not care.  If anyone reading these posts has advice about how to proceed, please respond.

I tried all possible solutions through apple online support and then went to apple store as a last resort and they turned me down that there is no support in the 2nd year. Only option is to pay 160 pounds and get replacement. When I argued further, they said that if I had bought the iphone directly with them, they would replace me without any cost. This is even more frustrating.
    THIS IS TOTALLY UNFAIR as its not my fault. If the release of faulty 7.0.4 software is timed in my 2nd year of contract and since I didnt buy the iphone directly from Apple, how is it fair to ask me to pay for replacement. Its not my fault after all.

    Because you are outside the one year hard ware warrenty, Apple covers for the first year on their dime, if you had a two year contract why not make sure you have a two year insurance on your phone?
    Either way as I can see/assume you are from europe you can look at your consumer laws to see if you qualify for anything there, beyond that it isn't the software that broke the device, it's a hardware failure because thousands upon thousands are happy and content with iOS 7.0.4

    SAP PM is very niche Module, very in demand module, at the same time, being niche, getting into it and getting 1 implementation is also difficult.
    your decision of joining SAP authorized training is the best option, as a certified consultant, you have more chances to get a break as fresher and you can continue working on it, else it would waste of your intellectual energy.
    you just search sap.com training or email them or chat with them, they will give u the training center details,
    but very less training classes are available. Try you will get lucky soon

    I would go crazy if this was me.  You may find this interesting from the customer agreement (to see full agreement go here:Customer Agreement | Verizon Wireless):

    You can dispute any charges by doing an Arbitration or Mediation.  I have never done it, so I can not help much there but this all may get you started.

    Please provide more details. What version OS X were you using?
    Are you saying that Mail faIled to upgrade and you lost your old mail?
    Are you asking about PowerPC applications that require Rosetta to run like AppleWorks and Microsoft Office 2004?
