ok my update with flawless everything came up as planned and worked good... played with a couple apps for a few minute then it started running pretty unstable.. checked my email all settings were fine and transferred great in the backup.. then it started running slow as can be and just hanging up on everything.. i turned it off and back on and all was well again rearranged the menu and set it off to the side after that for about 20 minutes pick it up again and bam nothing... wont power on what so ever, doesnt respond to being plugged in, just completely bricked all there is to it.. now im going to have to figure out how to force a restore on it... any one have a link to the procedure???

to force the iTouch into recovery mode is easy, Turn of iPod completely, Press
& hold the HOME button while plugging in the cable into the iPod and you should
see a screen appear on the iPod with the iTunes Logo and Pic of the Cable, Plug cable into USB on computer, load iTunes, Click on RESTORE.

Make offline clips problem with xsan

I have a problem with Final cut pro and Xsan.
Mac Pro with Leopard
Final cut pro 6
Xsan 2
We have 7 Mac pro and Xsan 2. When we make offline the clips in final cut pro and select delete from disk, sometimes the QT files are deleted from Xsan volume but in FCP in the browser does not shows the clips as offline (with the red line in the clips). Sometimes, when we leave FCP and click on the desktop and
come back to FCP, makes the clips offline, but this annoying
trick, does not always work.

Were the clips imported from a camera? Try connecting the card and opening the camera import function?

Billing due list problem with customized document types

Dear Team,
We have created a new Rental contract and Rental Invoice document types by copying the standard ones (MV & FV), while trying to get the Billing due list, unable to get the Rental Invoice type, rather the system is proposing the standard Invoice type (i have already changed the Billing type to the customized one in sales document type).
Can you please let me know the pre-requisites for the billing due list.

Itunes wont let me report a problem with multiple songs

i wanted to buy ariana grandes old album but it wouldnt let me so i bought some of the songs because i thought i could complete the album but when i went back later it told me that if i bought the album i would have to buy the other songs i already had again and i didnt want duplicates and when i went to report a problem it wouldnt let me refund. please help i just want to buy her album once.

When i select deptno ,ename will be displayed .Now ,when i select another deptno ,ename will get appended with the existing list .
My requirement is:
1)when i select deptno ,Ename should not get appended with earlier deptno's ename .Ex:when i select deptno 10 ,then in ename ,it should display enames of deptno 10 ..Later when i select deptno 20 ,it should show only enames of deptno 20 ...it should not append with enames of deptno 10 ..
2)I want to create a "remove all" button just below "remove" button,same font ,same size .Now when i click on "remove all" button ,all the values in ename list should be removed with out refreshing the page ...

don't have access to an APEX 2.2 instance anymore. But I would suppose that the behavior of html_SelectValue is different in 2.2 and 3.0.
Compare the function code in htmldb_html_elements.js. You should also check the function html_SelectedOptions which is called by html_SelectValue

Problem with getRequestDispatcher()

Hi,
I am trying to use my servlet to redirect the client to the previous page. The servlet is one that is used by so many JSP Pages in the application. I used a java beans inside (please don't laugh) the servlet to capture the page so then pass it to the getRequestDispatcher() as shown below in the code snipet.
RequestDispatcher dispatcher =
getServletContext().getRequestDispatcher(ttipsBeans.getpgeNameAddr());
dispatcher.forward(request, response);
Problem is: It doesn't work. It brings the client back to the same page. How can I achieve this?

Thanks for your prompt response. That is exactly what I did with the other servlets that are called by EXACTLY ONE jsp page. Let me illustrate the problem with this scenario. Let's say I have userForm.jsp, travel.jsp, booking.jsp and vacation.jsp pages. Now all these jsp pages must use the userForm.jsp to collect user info. userForm.jsp on the other hand must call myServlet.class to send data to the database. Upon completion of its task it must redirect the client to EITHER travel.jsp, booking.jsp or vacation.jsp depending on which one invoked userForm.jsp. That is the reason why I used java beans to "remember" which page invoked userForm.jsp.

Problem with showing mp3 album art in list view.

I have litle problem with showing mp3 album artwork in list view.
In SNOW LEOPARD all work fine, and all mp3 files have album art's preview in list mode in finder.
But in LION i have only default preview mp3 icon.
Option "Show icon preview" is already on!

I have the fix!!!!
I have had the same issue ever since Lion. Its been very painful not having album art preview in finder or the play button when rollover the file for so many versions of OSX. Today I worked hard in trying to solve the problem since Applecare support hasn't helped much, all they did was tell me to bring the computer in. The other main reason I got so motivated to try and fix this is because the DJ app for Mac only reads album art from the finder even if iTunes can display the album art. The other reason that got me curious is that my friends macbook pro album art worked fine, so I cross checked with his computer until I figured out a few things that helped and ultimately fixed the issue. FINALLY!
My set up:
- I have my full iTunes library folder on my external as I have over 700GB of music.
- It includes all my database files in there, which is very important as I have many playlist settings from over 7 years of iTunes activity.
SOLUTION:
1. With every new computer I have purchased, I use to just pressed option on Mac and press iTunes to locate my folder (which I have said is located on my external drive).
2. I tried today to press option again BUT locate and selected the default library in the user/music folder of my internal drive (standard setting from Apple).
3. Miraculously, all the album art appeared in both my external drive library and also today's downloaded songs on my Macbook pro. Ofcourse with the new default location I don't have any songs or data.
4. So I tried to find a way to keep this library data on my internal drive since it can help the finder display all my files properly, yes even have the play on rollover button but as well link it back to my external drive with all my 700GB songs.
5. I then went into iTunes Preferences/Advance tab and in iTunes Media folder locationredirected the location to my external drive iTunes/ iTunes Media folder. If it asks to collate data, press NO.
6. Then I quit iTunes.
7. Next I copied the 4 files to my desktop from my external drive as I want to keep the data I have made with all my playlists etc. The four files are iTunes Library Extras.itdb ,iTunes Library Genius.itdb , iTunes Library.itl , iTunes Library.xml
8. I then went to my internal drive User/Music/Itunes/ and dragged these 4 files I copied from my external drive into here and making sure to REPLACE the four existing files already there.
9. Next open iTunes and you will find all your presettings appear with all your music linked to your external. What this does is keep the important library files on your internal drive (that somehow makes your finder files album art appear), BUT to read also all the music mp3 files located in the external drive (action from step 5)
Presto!! All your music files whether on internal drive or external all the album art has appeared.

Problem with a numbered list

I recently upgraded to RoboHelp 8 and I opened my old project to update an HTML online help. Whenever I generated the online help and I clicked to view the result on the PC with RoboHelp 8, everything looked fine. Then, I copied all generated files to a server to be part of a web application. Today, I found out that when I viewed the online help on the server using the same PC with RoboHelp 8, all numbers of numbered lists displayed against the left side of the main body of the help are not displayed correctly. Part of each number got chopped off. Again, if I go to the !SSL! folder and display the online help that I generated, it looks fine. I also found out that when I used another PC to view the same online help file from the server, all the numbered lists looked fine. The PC with RoboHelp 8 runs with Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit and the PC that I could see the numbered lists correctly runs with Windows 7 Professional 64bit. I don't understand why the two PCs do not display the same online help the same way. I asked someone to use his PC running Windows XP with IE7 and the numbered lists were not displayed correctly.
I read some discussions and there were a suggestion to use the "Convert RoboHelp Edited Topics to HTML" option to correct some problems with RoboHelp 8, so I tried it and it seemed to help. When using the option, I could see the numbered lists correctly. I am still wondering why two PCs did not display the same online help the same way. I am trying to see if there is an option with IE that can be used to solve this problem instead of deploying a new version of the online help. Does anyone know what the "Convert RoboHelp Edited Topics to HTML" option actually does. Will I be introducing more problems using this option?

Thank you very much for replying. The convert option seems to fix the problem and I will probably redo my lists later because I did not seem to be able to make any changes to them.
I am still puzzled why one PC running the 64 bit Windows 7 Pro is able to display all numbered lists correctly and the other PC running the 64 bit Windows 7 Enterprise using the same version of Internet Explorer is not able to display any numbered lists correctly. I looked around with all the options for Internet Explorer and they are the same. I also noticed that when I used Google Chrome and FireFox, the numbered lists are displayed fine. I also noticed that if all the online help files are saved locally on the PC that is not able to displayed the numbered lists correctly, when I display the online help, the numbered lists look fine. It does not work when displaying the online help from a server. If you know an option that might make the online help to work properly with Internet Explorer without deploying a new version, please let me know.

There seems to be a billing problem with the iTS. I've been trying to make purchases today (Dec 9th) too and it reports either the iTS can not process payments or it says my card was declined. I even changed the payment method to Paypal (which is never declined) and still no go.
I don't think it is "you" but a problem at Apple. Some popular new apps were released recently like Logic Pro and perhaps they're getting bombarded as they did when Lion was released.

I had the same problem with iTunes Store, the only thing you can do is to put some money on that credit card you are using with you account. iTunes Store already keeping some money for the last purchase you made you can see all info on the Account option and then Purchase history ...

Adding To The LIst Of Problems With Internet Explolrer 11 And Another Browser

I've b1 of the EA6500 router and like the othe posts I can't use IE 11. The "solution" is to use either Chrome or Firefox but not my Chrome has stopped working. All I get now is the LInksys Blue background. When I first see the site it looks like it's trying but then gives me a blue page. I've included screen prints of what I see when I go to Linksys Smart Wi-Fi page and below that is the version number. I have deleted my browser history, cache, saved form data, etc. but the result is still the same. And it doesn't matter if I use the router IP address or the Smartsys Wi-Fi link.
So right now the only broweser that will let me do router administration is Firefox but something tells me it too will have problems eventually.
the problem I'm having isn't with the router, it is with the company. People have tried to blame Micrtosoft in these posts for the problem but it's not their problem. The real kicker is that these Smart Wi-Fi routers are not old. nor are they cheap. LInksys announced this line at CES 2012, then again in April, and the last one announced for thie "initial" line-up of new routers was the EA6500 (the EA6500 was anounced in June 2012).
I've been mostly happy with LInksys reouters but if this is the way they are going to conduct business, then maybe I need to make certain adjustments with the networking products we purchase.
To put it bluntly...this situation is unacceptable.

Believe it or not I stumbled across the solution to the problem and need to partially retract one of my previous statements. In a sense part of the responsibility does go to Microsoft because during one of their infamous "updates", the default version of Internet Explorer was changed to use the 64-bit version. I rarely used the Internet Explorer (64 bit) link in my Start Menu...I always used the "default" which apparently was the 32-bit version because there are plenty of companies that have not updated their software for 64-bit.
The article I came across is Problem With Internet Explorer? Maybe You Need Fewer Bits. The fix is simple and all it really takes is to right-click the icon for Internet Explorer and choose "Properties". When that comes up change the value in the "Target" field from "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe". Once you make the change save the change and then use that link to get to administer your browser. I tried it and it worked. I guess I missed the post from Linksys Support about that possibility.

Problem with list and map in GWT

I have a problem with map and list in GWT. I need to put a map in to a list but GWT does not support ArrayList and HashMap since they are not serialized types.
Exactly I want to create following list with out using ArrayList and HashMap

If try to use ArrayList then I receive following exception when I make a rpc call.

T.code FBL5N: a problem with the print of the output list

Hi All,
with reference to the t.code FBL5N, I have a problem with the print of the output list of the report.
When I execute the print, I obtain one customer for each page printed.
I wonder if is possible to obtain more customers for each page printed.
Could anyone help me?

Hi,
Though personally i havent tried this option, check the same
Go to Menu: Settings >> Switch List
This will make the value displayed in ALV format and then try taking print outs.
