CS3 Download Links Dead

Hi,
I need to re-install CS3 on my Mac, and I have the discs and the serial, but I'm on a new Mac without a CD drive, so I need to download the software, but the download link at the link below are dead. PLEASE ASSIST!!

This worked for me:
1) Goto the link to download your product. COPY the link to a text program somewhere. For example, for Photoshop CS3:http://esd.adobe.com/Applications/Photoshop/CS3/Mac/ADBEPHSPCS3_WWE.dmg.
2) Now click the link, in an attempt to download.
3) When you get the error message, paste the link you copied into the URL but DON'T hit enter or navigate to it yet.
4) Change the link to the Trials2 url. For example: http://trials2.adobe.com/dlm/Applications/Photoshop/Mac/ADBEPHSPCS3_WWE.dmg
You are essentially changing the "esd" to "trials2" and adding "/dlm" before "Applications". This worked for me!
I could not go to the link directly, and if I paused the download and restarted, it said I didn't have permission. It appears to have to goto the error message screen FIRST, then paste in the modified download link and you should be good to go!

Image with link functions in Firefox, half of the image/link is active in Chrome, image/link dead in Safari

I have a page with 2 nav links originating from 2 different images. 1 image / link works well with Firefox, Chrome and Safari. The other image / link works well with firefox, only half of the image is active in Chrome and none of the image is active in safari. The documents links checkout fine. I have replaced the image, the container as well as relinked. The result is the same. Can someone help please? Unclickable links / dead urls in Mail drafts

Before a recent software update, all links in the preview window of my drafts were clickable. Now they are not. Once drafts are sent, the links become clickable in the sent folder, both in preview and the actual message window. Also, links seem clickable in all other folders.

You should be able to add interaction on data list just from FC, you require no other software. Just come into the normal state of the application, select the list item, choose "Add Interaction" in Interactions panel. Here you may choose any action like "Play Actions sequence/Play transition to state/Go to URL/etc". Make sure that you choose this interaction only when specific item of the list is selected like item 0/1/2/... .

A LOT of iTunes broken links/tracks after Music folder move...

So yeah, I'm getting a TON of broken links / dead track links in iTunes after having to do two things to my iTunes install recently and I'm at wits end trying to fix it.
I keep my iTunes Music Folder on an external and share the iTunes library between my work Macbook Pro and my home Macbook. Every Friday I drag my iTunes folder and all contents from my MBP onto an external and replace the iTunes folder on the 'weekend' MB, then do the same back on Monday. I keep my iTunes music 'View' as 'Date Added' so that I can always be listening to whatever is newest. It's how I roll.
Well, this week I had some data problems during the transfer and had to use a previous week's iTunes Music Folder, which was fine as I hadn't added much this week.
I also got a new external because the old one was getting a little shady, so after doing the iTunes Music Folder replacement I moved my music all over to a new external drive, told iTunes where it all was at. iTunes did it's thing, 'organized' my stuff and all seemed good - until I got back deeper into the catalogue of music and started getting a LOT of broken tracks. The songs are still there, in the correct folders and all, but for some reason iTunes isn't finding them.
When I say a LOT, I mean so far it's hundreds of my 13,000 songs.
Now I COULD use the 'Super Remove Dead Tracks' script from Doug's to find all the broken files then re-add the whole library, but it will add all the old songs out of order because they will get a new 'Added' date.
I could also manually move thru my whole library holding down the arrow key for 'Next' to find all the broken links then go thru, select them, and use the 'iTunes Track CPR' script from Doug's to re-add them to the library with ratings intact, but still they will be out of order time-wise.
I cannot find a script that will parse my library, find broken links, and re-associate them with their tracks, nor can I figure out why this happened and any other way to fix it. Repairing permissions hasn't helped. Any other ideas?

After almost a year - duh - I see that v3.6.4 got stuck mid-download; now I can't proceed or get rid of the Software Update 'Paused downloading Firefox 3.6.4' -so how to update now?

I have Firefox 3.6.3 on a mac os x 10.5.8 laptop. Often when I open Firefox there are updates available for plugins & addons and I install them. Now Firefox often crashes while in use and/or I must force quit. I finally went to the Help menu on the Firefox menu bar and saw this message: 'Resume Downloading Firefox 3.6.4...' When I click on the message I get a new 'Software Update' window with this info: 'Paused downloading Firefox 3.6.4' (stuck); a 'Details' link (dead); and 'Connecting to the update server...' (never connects). Sorry, I couldn't figure out what the 'Firefox location bar' was and so can't get report IDs, though a while ago I stopped reporting the problems. I want to update Firefox without losing any of my stored settings/info. PS I just saw my 'installed plugins' list. 'Displays PDF documents in the browser' is listed but doesn't work; 'iPhoto6' listed, but I run iPhoto '08 (7.1.5). I'm not sophisticated enough to recognize the other plug-ins. Thanks!

I don't know if there are better solutions, and I don't know if what I'm going to write is real also in mac OS: in windows and linux you personal settings (bookmarks, history, plugins, etc...) are stored in your home directory and not in firefox installation directory. So what about to uninstall your current version, download the new one from firefox web site and install it? In my opinion all your data remain untouched.
A better solution may be download the new version and install it without removing the previous one, the installer should overwrite outdated files ;)

Windows 8.1 Data reordering issue with Intel Adaptors

According to Intel, there is a data reordering issue with their adaptors and probably this dumb WIDI software. This is from Intel site. they say some are fixed, "A future Windows 8 fix will address this issue for other Intel wireless adapters." I
have one Nope, still broke. I get drops all the time. Brand new Toshiba laptop I7 16 gigs of ram and a SSD and a 2 gig Vid card. Would be nice to be able to play games but I get dropped all the time. Now would Microsoft quit hiding
about this, and fix the darn thing. Also i'm a system admin for 13 years. I have build over 1000 PCs and servers. I know bad software. Please fix this. PLEASE. Its not going to just go away and its not just Toshiba, I have seen other companies with the

Yep didn't work. Still get drops all the time, had to run a Cat 5E cable to my laptop from my modem, because I have Atheros Gigabyte Lan adaptor. Works Great. The Wireless still drops all the time. Has Microsoft let out the patch to fix this or is it coming in
April in the 8.1 patch that's coming. Funny thing is all for Widi, I don't even use widi, I got the software to do that from Samsung works better on my TV. Intel and Microsoft need to get this fixed. because their driving off gamers and that's the

Adobe Premiere Pro CC does not open project - just hangs, no error message

I've just finished editing a project in PP CC, saved it, then tried to reopen it and the program shows a blank page, then hangs. I get no error message.
The project is based off a PP 5.5 timeline. It updates fine (and in fact I can open and convert the original timeline with no problem). However, once I close the new version and try to reopen, this symptom occurs.
I have updated my Creative Cloud software and it shows the Premiere Pro is up to date.
My computer is an ASUS laptop running Windows 8.1 Pro
i5 processor
8GB RAM
NVidea Geforce 610M+2GB graphics card
Need help as I have to have this project output and uploaded by 8am tomorrow.

This is a follow up to my original post and follow up. I've now seen this issue several more times and realize it was not an issue with my USB drive. It is an issue with the Dynamic Linking in Premiere. I consider this a MAJOR BUG, so please note what I've found if you have an issue with archiving or opening projects done with previous versions of PP.
The issue I've found is that Premiere seems to lock up trying to find dead media links. If you've archived a project or moved files from their original position, Premiere CC cannot seem to find them. The result is not a system hang up, but just a blank screen. In some cases, after leaving it for a couple hours it found the media and continued.
I've had a similar issue when trying to link 'dead' media with the actual files. The system goes off into neverland.
The work around I've found is to import the older jobs into a new Premiere CC project. At that point, replace any dead links (do NOT try and find the media as you'll be lost in hangupville) by importing the media again and replacing the clip in the sequence with the new import from the bin. Once all your media is 'live', remove any unused media from the project and confirm there are no 'dead' links (you can look at the media icon and notice a ? if they are not dynamically linked properly). Manually clear any remaining unlinked media. Save the project.
I have started to use Project Manager to archive all Premiere projects when moving them from one server to another.
This is a total pain in the @ss, and nothing I've seen before Creative Cloud. I hope that Adobe gets this resolved or I may consider dropping my subscriptions completely. That is a huge investment, but this type of issue is too much trouble to manage for a small production company.
I welcome any other thoughts, fixes, or comments.

wow, this was a huge deal to get photoshop to install properly.
now it asks me for a serial number (never successfully started). I've never been sent a serial number. Most of the links in this post are dead, there is no help or support that I can tell for any adobe product and I have to travel across town to another computer to use photoshop which I am paying for.
"Learn More" goes really extensively into redemption codes, which I never received (was I supposed to, who the heck knows?)
1. Was I supposed to receive a serial number or redemption code?
2. Where was it supposed to come to?
3. Is there a place to get real help?
The forums are full of dead links, dead references and pissed off people as far as I can tell. All of whom have a different problem than me (sudden deactivation, not the program never worked). The program and the cc app don't provide any step by steps as to what are the normal steps to get things to work. I see people in this thread still begging for help a year later.
Since Monday morning, trying to install photoshop in my new office has cost me about 6 hours, it seems to be a paid program with absolutely no help or support.
How much more time do I waste trying to use this product? Is this what happens when a company buys all their competitors?

Reinstall issue on upgraded CS Design Standard 5.5 on new Mac

Old Mac crashed and died, and with it my CS DS 5.5. Have downloaded a new copy from the Adobe website.
Tha Adobe Application Manager accepts the serial number, but can't find a "qualified product". When trying to select manually from the pull down-menu, 5.5 is not there, just 5.0, which is not accepted either.
I own an old 3.0 license, so the 5.5 was probably an upgrade. I tried to work around the issue by downloading CS 3, but the Adobe download link dead just ends in an error message.
Customer service phone hours seem to be over, as all attempts to go there loop back to the page where one choses a product...
Any suggestions?

ONboard network

Has anyone else gotten dropped internet connections using the onboard LAN?
Doesn't happen all the time, and I haven't found anything that is the cause, but about 3 times a week, while in a game, I will just go link dead. When I exit the game, and load up IE, it won't connect. I either have to reset my router, or cable modem to kick start it. I have never had to do either prior to getting this mobo/cpu.
Also, same problem, I will come to my computer (I always leave it on overnight... 24/7), and sometimes when I load up IE, it states that I am working offline, and do I want to continue offline or try again. If I click try again, it always starts up the internet connect and away I go.
Is there something that turns it off after some time? Why, while it is being used, it shuts itself off (doesn't happen all the time......)?

I also have frequent loss during bf1942 since I started using the onboard lan connection...... It says "warning! Connections problems detected" during the game then disconnects from server............I have tried many things........Like reducing the realtek recieve buffer from 64k to 32k to 16k etc no diff. Also updated the drivers...mine are dated 12/31/03 right now I think........
This didnt happen with the stand alone card..........
I think I have the standalonecard in the other comp.... I couldnt find the drivers for it or something.....
I figured I was alone in this prob since I have win98se so I never mention it.......

Cannot download Iphoto with Yosemite

Updates to Yosemite.
Cannot open the current version of Iphoto. I cannot download the new version on the Appstore (link dead).
Can anybody help me with that?

You need to be running Yosemite in order to download and run the latest version of iPhoto from the App Store. Your profile shows you running 10.7.2. You'll need to update your system before you'll be able to download iPhoto;

Blog & Podcast pages link to dead URL Page

I've published my new website to a folder, uploaded the data to a non .mac website. Everything works fine, except the blog and the podcast. The blog and podcast main page both appear, but when I click on a story or media selection, I get a URL not found. Checking my site with an FTP client, I can see all the files. However, no matter what I do, the links always go to a dead url page and states Not Found. I find it odd that the whole site works but the blog and podcast archive.
Any work arounds or suggestions?

Now I must rant:
Alpha-numerical URLs automatically generated by iweb for the blog & podcast archives are to long for some non .mac websites. This causes a Not Fond error message. Since I bought iweb for its simplicity, this software cannot fix the inherent problem either. What I have to do, is use Adobe GoLive 6 to shorten the automatically generated URL number strings of all my blog messages and podcasts. However, I'm still not done. I further more have to go into each blog & podacst HTML file and shorten all the links found there too. Quite an undertaking just to post a message. On my other website located on the same server, I run a Serendipity Blog which runs trouble free. Also, the Serendipity Blog is free and has more functionality.... Go figure. Since all I wanted was a simple cookie cutter website and a no fuss blog, the work around is not worth the effort. I think I will have to dump iweb... this is very disappointing.
